I'm going to apologize in advance as I work 12 hour shifts Friday nights and Saturday nights starting at 11 pm - so I'm going to be few and far between. (I'll send the pay stubs screenshots if you want proof :P )

Sloonei, I can be convinced you aren't bad, but what I really hope to see from you today are gut reads on everyone - not based on reading the whole thread or anything, I just want to know where your head is at. So far you've spent your whole time in a defensive mode that I don't particularly think looks good on you (for instance, calling out your voters as having given you nothing to defend against). Don't defend. Hunt.
Interactive analyses such as you have time for would be great.

Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Night 2]

Yeah, that's right. I think it makes you look bad. I don't know if you're bad or not. Any comment like that that I, or anyone, makes carries the unspoken disclaimer that is doesn't apply if you're bad. Obviously.and now after building a case on speedchuck I'm bad? If you've been thinking I'm bad why all this 'hubris', 'you can't read me' talk?
Oh... okay.I was laying the foundation of an epi/speed team - as a joke, because they were apparently 'caught' as a team in GoC on day 1 by DharmaHelper who was completely wrong. A joke I actually completed.
That would indicate that the practice is sound. It would not indicate that it's not lazy.It isn't lazy to put a vote on someone for low activity because time and time again (the GoC being the most recent example), baddies tend to end up amongst the more quiet posters rather than the other way around.
If you can't help thinking that, then it sounds like you are employing a unnecessarily limited point of view yourself. I wasn't trying to force anything, I was just giving my opinions as I had them.So many of your post by post conclusions on speedchuck are 'this looks civ' that I cannot help but see someone who is trying to force a conclusion into an iso rather than come to one.
Oh... okay.Lastly, I haven't revisited that question yet in any meaningful way but that doesn't mean I won't. Nothing has happened to shift my opinion yet, but it's something I've made a note of.

You are right. I did use the word implied. And implied is certainly as far as any of those posts get. And not even implied I am bad, but just that there was some kind of outside shot I could be bad, like a man waving a teabag over a cup of boiling water and claiming he's made a cup of tea.

During each night phase of the game, the Pythia may utter a prophecy which will be posted publicly by the host after the following night phase. It takes time for messages to travel across the peninsula. You may also submit a prophecy on Day 0 to be posted at the start of Day 2. The prophecy must be written in dactylic | hexameter (or as close as you can reasonably get) to be posted publicly. The Pythia may not infodump or reveal his or her identity.

Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Day 3]
LC, I did a scroll through your iso in Bullets Over Broadway today, in which you were bad, just to see what I thought. I get a similar vibe, but that vibe is at it's greatest with that set of spoilered posts.
And no, I don't accept the hubris posts have something 'unspoken' in them. I think a civilian who thought I was bad wouldn't write those posts. They're an emotional appeal. A civilian who had any genuine designs on me as bad (which you, in that list, are claiming you are), wouldn't feel the need to talk about my hubris at all. They'd be talking about my sincerity instead.
The other thing interesting in your Bullets Over Broadway iso was that you spent so much of your time annoyed that people weren't giving you a read against you that you could defend against. A fair chunk of your behaviour resembled Sloonei's conduct yesterday.

Yes, any time anyone suspects you it's 'bias'. MP was biased, I'm biased, we write things specifically negatively to set you up. It's a shame you have to deal with all this bias.Long Con wrote: ↑Sun Apr 29, 2018 1:01 am... or like a guy playing Mafia trying to figure out who's bad. Here's the thing. What you're "vibing" is How Long Con Plays Mafia. If you believe you have some memories where you felt like you "had me", you got lucky that I was bad. You will suspect me for the same behaviour whether I am good or bad. Please just re-read this after I'm dead so that I don't have to be a big dick and quote it. Let me know that you did. I want to know you understand.
Wrong. Baddies are that sure. Civvies are not.And no, I don't accept the hubris posts have something 'unspoken' in them. I think a civilian who thought I was bad wouldn't write those posts. Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Day 3]
People should read Long Con's iso.
He doesn't like the Colin push, he's on Epi for a Sloonei vote, his interactions with sloonei are worth a close look generally actually.
He just dismisses the sig and epi suspicion with a wave of his hand and stays out of it.
And in particular his 'straw man' attack on MP reads very strongly like a Colin defence at this point.
