There's nothing particularly wrong with a tie. If someone who is civ has 6 votes and someone who is bad has 5 votes, the civ will be lynched. If both have 6, there's a 50% chance that the baddie is lynched.

Dunya take a clear stance on today's lynch. Putting it on a third party doesn't make you look good I tell you.
It wil make you look particularly bad if space daisy gets lynched and is town. Combining it with me being town is distancing yourself from two townie bandwagons. A clear record if you get what I mean.
Also you other guys either be vocal or look scummy.

Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Day 4]
Sure, but generally speaking you're voting for the person you think is bad to create the tie, rather than the person you think is civ. So there's nothing unciv about about creating a tie, and there's also nothing statistically negative about it (it's balanced).Quin wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 5:55 pmThat also works the other way around.Golden wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 5:54 pmThere's nothing particularly wrong with a tie. @Golden a tie is bad because we can't hold somebody accountable. It's easier when people are responsible for what they vote and not put randomness into a factor. It doesn't help.

Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Day 4]
What are you on about? How does it reduce accountability? If anything it increases it.
No-one should abdicate responsbility for their vote just to create a tie, if that's what you mean. I'm not advocating the artificial creation of a tie. I'm just explaining why it is not 'the worst idea'. Tie avoidance is fundamentally anti-town, because it means people aren't voting who they want to. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that deliberately avoiding ties means you can't hold people accountable.

It's near end of day, Spaicedaisy was around. She didn't defend herself. I find that unhelpful tbh.
Choutas was around, he offered some passionate words.
I would have preferred Luna, but I honestly don't have the time to swing it now.

Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Day 4]
Lynches should be town's general consensus of the scummiest looking player. The most suspicious of them all. Throwing luck in it would get a less suspicious looking player even by one percent in the same fate as the most looking one. That's not even the case most of the times. It's usually a really suspicious player and another guy who rubbed some players off for lesser reasons, bandwagons are usually formed and the prime suspect is bundled with another player who is much less suspicious a die is cast and then town hopes they got the lynch right which has less than 50% if you ask me.Golden wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 6:01 pmWhat are you on about? Tbh all those parked votes look bad.
It would be amazing if she is indeed scum since I think it's next level impossible scum would park their vote on another scum player for so long especially since I had good chances of getting lynched.

Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Day 4]
I feel like there's more of a chance Spacedaisy's emotional plea was a scum ploy a la her performance in Fiddler that we were linked to, despite her claims, than Choutas'. I can't see Choutas using emotional self-vote manipulation to get to me. Also, I don't see any Daisy input. Marmot claimed to see some, but I didn't on my last iso. Overall, I'm happy with a Daisy lynch result today imo.

I currently think that Spacedaisy is still the best lynch, partially because she hasn't done anything to diminish that notion.

Here's a couple morsels for you.
sig was lynched Day 1 with 53 posts. He was civilian
Long Con was lynched Day 3 with 220 posts. He was civilian.
Colin was lynched Day 2 with 27 posts. He was mafia. He also had a low post count.
Here's a couple reasons I suspect Spacedaisy.

Yeah, I don't think I see anything alignment indicative. If anything I'd guess Daisy would be more invested in this game if bad. Not feeling it.
