Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Day 4]
I went ahead and voted Luna to tie it up. But... I know nothing about her right now. It's only self preservation. I never anticipated there being a shot that I might not get lynched here.

Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Day 4]
This is the second game I've played with you, and I wouldn't say I know how to read you or know your meta. I read posts, and judge them and they give me a read on a player. I didn't find your post genuine and I did find its tone dramatic, even if you say it wasn't. I don't reconcile your attitude in that post with a Townie mindset. You say you didn't dare me to vote you, then why mention to me that I should vote for you if I find you bad. You doubled-down on it. Why did you feel the need to do it ? I didn't express any intention of voting in my original post.Spacedaisy wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 7:10 pmYou are reading a dramatic tone into my post that isn't there nova. I was't being dramatic, like daring someone to vote or being aggressive even. I knew there was just no way I was catching up, but I am also not going to be a player who knows I am sucking badly at staying engaged and expect that is a good excuse for people not to vote for me. That was what I was saying. And when I flip it will become clear you don't know how to read me. Which is cool for me, because it means you'll have to keep guessing.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 6:38 pmIt wasn't a genuine a reaction. It was over-dramatic and there were no pression whatsoever on her. I simply asked if she had caught up, and she could have answered honestly. She was taunting me to vote of her, when I hadn't expressed no intention of doing that.M Plus 7 wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 6:34 pmExplain. Both of the underlined statements. I don't believe you.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 6:33 pmI tagged her to ask if she has caught up yet, since it's been a few day that she's been working on that. Her reaction was bad and she was inviting me to lynch her if I read her as bad. It was over dramatic and there was no pressure or previous interaction for her to do that.
I played a game with her before and she did something similar as a baddie. She was pressured and voted herself while advocating her lynch.
Fiddler on the Roof Mafia. Last day phase, she was pressured and she had a similar reaction. She said to people to vote for her and that she's 100% for her lynch. She even voted herself. She flipped bad.
Linki @Kylemii It is not uncommon for me to invite people to lynch me if I think discussion about me is overshadowing the game and I need to be flipped to get something going. And it has happened plenty of times. What I do not do, is manipulate with emotional outbursts or hide behind non activity. But I wasn;t quitting or asking to be lynched. I was saying no one should avoid voting me because I have been low activity, if they legitimately suspect me.
You did the same thing in the other game I played with you, and you were bad.

Sure, we can play with hypotheticals forever though.Turnip Head wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 7:14 pmWell frankly I agree with your premise and am on the record as such... but at the same time you strolled in here and started barking and if you had read the thread maybe you'd be making completely different posts. That's my point.M Plus 7 wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 7:11 pm Also, in a somewhat relevant and somewhat not-game-relevant topic, I'm joining Sloonei in is #downwithketchup2018 thing. It's nonsense that someone has to be fully caught up on all of the events of a game to be able to participate. People can still engage in the game without having full context; full context becomes apparent through correction and ISOs. I came in here and gave my hot takes to the best of my ability even if my opinions were not fully informed. That's the way the game should be played if someone realistically doesn't have the time to invest in catching up.

For the record, I'm not necessarily debating your argument, just a general argument I've heard over the years from various people that a player can't properly play without being fully caught up.colonialbob wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 7:15 pmThis is not really a good representation of my argument but we can hash that out laterM Plus 7 wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 7:11 pm Also, in a somewhat relevant and somewhat not-game-relevant topic, I'm joining Sloonei in is #downwithketchup2018 thing. I still think GTH that I'm not sure I believe that nova actually believes the suspicion of Daisy, but I'll sit on it for now and give nova a thorough investigation some other time in the sake of fairness -- because clearly I misjudged the exact order of events and that could be unfairly coloring my perspective.

But seriously, I'll never voice a read of Daisy with 100% confidence ever again because of that game. 98 or 99% even, maybe, but never 100%.

Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Day 4]
I kinda thought of that too. Tbh Marmot seems to be the instigator so if it's a bussing I'm quite certain he did it.
As I said at him I get the whole SD controversy but I don't know her well enough to credit or discredit it so I'll refrain. It's the only responsible thing.
I'd rather lynch a player who conveniently parks his/her vote on a player who won't be lynched under any circumstance.
