Just as long as you promise you're not nefariously buddying me, sure.

You don't even have to give me a full reads list, but I'm curious what you got. Give me your best. Which players should we be looking at right now?

In other news, think I may have been wrong about Marmot. I don't know. I can't read this guy. Congrats, Marmot. You win the game of meta.

Strong town reads:
speedchuck
Marmot
Sloonei
novaselinenever
wolbre04

IDK guess they might be good or 3P:
Choutas
dunya
Kylemii
Kites / Quin
Turnip Head

IDK what to do with these yet and need to reread some
lapluie / colonialbob

Sure, I don't really have any read on him either... which is weird considering he usually towns it up or fake towns it up in my recollection. A disengaged Quin seems out of character either way.

I dont currently suspect Marmot, who would also fit in there.

Those are the ones that go to my head when I think of the IDGaF party. Am I missing some?

That said, I'm not about to defend all of the IDGAF crowd. I just think it's dangerous to lump players together in groups. We should be trying whatever we possibly can to determine alignments individually -- and despite their uncontentional playstyle, there are ways to develop nuanced reads on the IDGAF people.

I wholeheartedly disagree with your low scum reads.
I keep feeling like you’re bad, that you’re not playing like you were as town in GoC. I can’t put my finger on it.

You look great around your Colin interaction, but I figure that at least a few mafia distanced themselves.

I wanna catch you, but all I got right now is that you’re just “off” and it’s frustrating me

By the way, it's sort of funny they killed Golden now because I was just FINALLY starting to have like 1-2% doubt in the back of my mind that it might be Economics Golden pocketing me again. Almost went a full game together without suspecting you literally at all, Golden. Almost.

I'm just saying that in a game with this setup with an independent faction of 3, it might be easier for a mafia player to fake being a disengaged independent than a supatown or something.

dunya, let's work together too. What are your updated reads?

I technically never caught up from all the d4 stuff, but whatever, I'll get all the context I need if I don't have it already. I'm overdue for some ISOs. I'll see what I can do when I'm not multitasking.

IDGAF people, generally speaking. It'd be easy to justify going after them as a group at this stage based on the argument you're proposing.

I'm not. I'm more burnt out, and I've been dealing with a RL thing. Not a BAD RL thing, but it's been distracting.

Feel free to pursue me though. I play better under pressure.

I think it’s foolish to assume they are low hanging fruit. And if that’s what you think they are, then they’re winning.

If they never want to change their play style and help solve this game, they should be disposed of because by default they are not town friendly.

You get what I’m saying? Even right now, you’re dismissing them because ‘they’re the easy option’. I think it’s a ruse that has been shown can get them father in the game, and I don’t think they are well intentioned. There is no prudence in chaos

You seem like you're genuinely hunting instead of just trying to get past D1 before paris-ing. Plus you are getting into this game emotionally. Hard to imagine you faking that.

But I've never played with scumnya
Did not understand the underlined part.

I am always emotional in mafia, whichever side I play on tbh. I give it all my effort and when I feel like I haven't been giving it all my effort, that upsets me.

I don't like how waffly you are tbh; it's already day 5 and i feel youve gone this long without having strong stances in the game yet. Like, you're not very memorable for someone with as many posts as you have. It's similar to FE scum speedchuck I think. I followed that game closely after you replaced me...I know what I'm talking about.

Care to elaborate on the bolded/underlined? It can be brief.
Sure. I'll start with the scumreads.

MP - I was feeling mostly fine, with you at the bottom of my top towny mass poster list, until just now. Didn't like the sudden flip on Marmot for no reason just then. Also every mass poster this game is dead but you now.
I don't know if that second point matters that much, but it's an observation.

Scotty - I've been pushing the IDGAF crowd to do stuff for days, so I get it. But I doubt all of the scum are in there. And given the unaligned 3P crowd, we are MUCH closer to LYLO than most people realize. If the IDGAF crowd is mostly townies, Scotty is buying a one-way ticket to a scum win.
Like I said, I agree with the move. It's the timing that gives me the willies.

JOH - Jack has been playing both the IDGAF crowd and the hunting crowd, and hasn't really been doing either. It's disconcerting. I feel like his scumreads are consistent (I would, especially), but he's not actually chasing them. Jack hasn't been playing lax enough to feel unaligned, but he doesn't seem to care to hunt either. He's just whatever people expect him to be in the moment. Or that's how I read him.

Ignoring like 5 players who fall into hard to read category for various reasons (TH, JOH, Quin, Kylemii and maybe SD) is not the best course of action.

They need to all be analyzed. I don't care if they're team IDGAF or not. No one gets a free pass on day 5.

What’s low hanging fruit, Sock? I’m legitimatly curious.
IDGAF people, generally speaking. It'd be easy to justify going after them as a group at this stage based on the argument you're proposing.

I do get what you're saying, and I don't even entirely disagree, but I've gotten burned by this too many times in the past. I'm not saying "give them a free pass", because that's absurd and is going to lose us the game. But we should try to fairly discern everyone's alignment regardless of how unconventionally they are playing.

Not if we (and they) play our cards right.

I agree that we need to not give them a free pass. But we should have started weeding yesterday instead of last-minute lynching Luna for no reason.

I don't understand what there isn't to like about a flip on someone if I feel it's warranted, and the second statement is such a huge case of WIFOM I can't bear to stand it. But let's be honest. Would you kill me this game? I wouldn't kill me. I haven't exactly played well. That's all I'll say about that.

Thanks for elaborating otherwise though.

Dammit I wish I had died and let Mac’s or Dom’s hunting skills go further.

The last 3 kills have been yawningly obvious top town reads. We’re being killed by not having contributors. This is where I am supposed to step it up but I told myself not to get too involved. I might not have a choice if I wanna win this shit

I understand what you're trying to say, but let me be clear: It wasn't for no reason. Her interactions with Colin were meh, and her read progression was near non-existent.

I think you can make out where I stand currently.

I have more isos to do. It's 1.30am and I slept at 6am yesterday and woke up at 9am so I'm gonna go sleep now. It's my mom's birthday tomorrow (today) too, but I'll be around and do what I can with more promised isos.

Sorry I'm behind but when I have time I find engaging in real time is more useful atm.
