I also don’t know how to ask people for reads like I normally would in this position. I tried reading back a few pages but am missing too much context. I’ll just sit here and try to piece things together as they unfold in real time.

Today is my only day off for a week and I’d like to spend most of it outside, but I’ll have my phone with me to at least check in occasionally. If Jimmy won’t tell everyone, he won’t tell the mafia privately. With this in mind, scum will vote on a vote they can defend. So for example, if Bob is bad, he won’t vote for me.

Barring that, Scotty, Nova and (unfairly) Jack have gathered the most public suspicion before the day began. Mafia is going into the day planning to vote for one of those players that’s a townie, the one they feel is most likely to be lynched.

If Nova is good (and I’m not saying he is), Nova is the most likely to be lynched player that just about anybody can defend a vote on. So I think the mafia votes there if Nova is good.

If Nova is bad and Scotty is good, it’s pretty easy to justify a Scotty vote, even after the fact if Nova is lynched.

Beyond that, it depends on the player. Bad Scotty could vote for me. Bad Bob won’t. Etc.

Scum only have two votes, though. Will they try to rip the lynch at the risk of tipping their hand? We’ll see.

I just straight abhor this post for several reasons.

One, you're laying out inevitabilities as you see them, but they are hardly inevitable. "If nova is bad and I am good" leading to me being lynched after? You just said yourself there is no way we would be scum buddies.

Two, the scenarios you're laying out don't mean anything for us. Scum is going to vote how scum is going to vote. This post is framed as a proof, but might as well be saying "If strawberries are people, and rutabagas cause lymphoma, then i'll be drunk by 7:30"

Three, your parentheses are telling. You think you are (unfairly) gathering public suspicion. You also list the possibility that nova is good (though you're not saying he is). Just inserting that aside in your didactic if/then statement, you're discounting it. We know you're not saying he is good, but you had to make sure we really knew it.

Four, you are basically saying it makes more sense for mafia to vote nova today if he is good, and if he's bad, then I'll be lynched sooner or later. You're holding the funnel over my baking soda while talking about something else so no one notices that you switched out the water with vinegar and I could very well get mislynched today

Well, I ISOed both of you. Tbh, most of my Nova read was tone and other people’s assurances that there was some damning relationship thing between him and Colin. It helps Nova that he treated Colin and Speed very differently, which I didn’t know when I made that read list because I hadn’t actually read Nova’s posts about Colin and we didn’t have Speed’s flip.

Sorry if you don’t like my Nova analysis. I quoted the only two posts he “defends” Colin at all. I feel like that basically covers the whole case against Nova, tone aside.

If Nova is good (and I’m not saying he is), Nova is the most likely to be lynched player that just about anybody can defend a vote on. So I think the mafia votes there if Nova is good.

If Nova is bad and Scotty is good, it’s pretty easy to justify a Scotty vote, even after the fact if Nova is lynched.

Three, your parentheses are telling. You think you are (unfairly) gathering public suspicion. You also list the possibility that nova is good (though you're not saying he is). Just inserting that aside in your didactic if/then statement, you're discounting it. We know you're not saying he is good, but you had to make sure we really knew it.

Yeah, I don’t even follow any of that. This is basic strategy.

There are a clear three players who have gathered some suspicion who would be clear first or second lynch targets of vocal players. It makes sense for the baddies to vote for the most suspicious town player today. Nobody can post rainbows or call votes. You can’t call out anyone for a vote that doesn’t jive with your language today cause the language has to be vague.

I now think the case against Nova is shit. I’m not hedging, which is what you appear to accuse me of, Scotty.

You didn’t start from the same place on my rainbow, you never said you thought I was 3P, you explained why you wanted me lynched over Speed, you didn’t say you were going after me because you could never be sure of my alignment, you didn’t say you thought Speed was bad several times over the course of the game only to refuse to lynch him when push came to shove, you don’t have ties to Colin, you didn’t try to systematically tie a bunch of people (just me and just in the heat of things) to Speedchuck.

I’m not wild about you going after me but that’s all I have against you. Scotty has a long list of crimes.

Check out my ISO, not just what jack conveniently linked to. He’s pulling a one-trick pony type of day today so I end up mislynched. I’d continue to look at more options- look at nova and Quin’s ISO’s
