I do have to say that to some extent I feel like I took advantage of the fact, this game, that others seemed to miss that the elimination candidate would be a human. To this end, becoming a zombie was less risky provided that you could assure there was someone who would remain town. Once some people realised this they were willing to turn zombie.

In hindsight I realise there might have been a 'joint win' path here where many fewer people were at risk, so I apologise for missing that - but I think my ability to succeed at that was pretty much over the moment I took a touch from EdJou and was at two points after one round.

ZOMBIE GAME RESULTS

The initial two zombies were M Plus 7 and DharmaHelper. By the end of Round 1, they had infected DisgruntledPorcupine and EdJou, turning them into zombies. Round 2 was an utter bloodbath of complacency, with DH infecting Nutella and Speed. Speed then touched Daisy before taking his cure. Meanwhile, in what was either a costly blunder or a cunning bit of strategy, Long Con didn't achieve a successful touch, causing him to become a Zombie. This left Scotty, Golden, and Speedchuck as the only humans left in Round 3. Golden managed to deftly gain points and seek out zombies, leading to an insurmountable lead. Scotty saw the way that the wind was blowing, and quickly became a zombie out of self-preservation, leaving Speedchuck as the other remaining human, holding the proverbial bag.

Well, that was fun.

I played this game as somewhat of a solo game. I figured out which world we were in early (DH and one of DP/MP were the original zombies), and went full steam ahead on that basis. Some people I've worked with in the past were willing to be quite open with me and I held my cards close to my chest with them, forcing them to trust me rather than to say why. I feel a bit guilty about this, and while I genuinely had those peoples backs, I just hope people were understanding. I know that I forced you to put faith in me in ways that probably left you uncomfortable.

After round one, I was certain I had two points, and noone else had more than one. At that point it was very likely that all I had to do was stay safe in round two and I would win, and that creating some kind of joint win would be a challenge. My focus was on making sure those people became zombies because otherwise they could end up being the elimination candidate, but I didn't feel as though being up front about that would be productive. So apologies for any feelings that were hurt.

Anyway, for these reasons I'm giving the token of life to someone who I've worked well with in past rounds, but left in the dark this round, as an apology. Sorry that I can't do the same for all of those that I left in the dark.

I'm giving it to [mention]EdJou[/mention], who put in a whole lot of effort to solve the game himself.

fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff I misread this and thought that any humans who got through would get the garnets. I thought I was going to an elimination match, sure, but I wanted to go in rich. This is stupid.
