I'm not too concerned. Llama wrongly suspected me in Homestar Runner and slowly saw that he was a gentleman and a scholar but wrong. And I'll think this same thing will happen here since it's the silliest thing since Lohan decided to try "acting."

Yeah, I am pretty sure what that was about. He wanted to say something outlandish to see how I'd react. It is rather transparent, yes. I really expected something a little more...*show-stopping* from him honestly. I mean, I am bound to say something really dumb at some point, why not just wait me out and latch onto that? So I fell asleep pretty early last night and I have quite a bit to catch up on, it seems... and in 3 games! So, I will try to get to all 3 games at lunch, but we shall see. Then I have errands to run tonight and a concert (with Boomslang, BWT, and my brother). I should have some time after work where I can catch up again to vote before errands... or maybe after the concert.
Anyway, be back as soon as I can!

Re: [Night 1] The Shawshank Redemption Mafia
After reading MR's reaction, I no longer think it likely he's bad, so I'm glad that never went anywhere.
I actually think that a no-lynch day one is a big civ win, since it wasn't coordinated that way -
We got a significant portion of the information we would have gotten anyway, and didn't lose a civ
(which, let's face it, always happens. Minimalism mafia aside).
I gave up on trying to read Mongoose long ago, and the statement in question reads pretty naturally to me,
but if Llama sticks to his guns I might vote there anyway - I'm not seeing a lot to go on right now.
I'm taking Blankets. I do actually have a copy I've been meaning to read, and I like pictures.
Anyway, I'm going to go read and reread the first post. I might read it again also.

Not sure what I think about llama v. Mongoose here, though I believe I am seeing civvie llama if I had to guess.
Llama, what do you think of Nev?
I'm not completely convinced you're bad; your response here reads genuine to me. I'm willing to give you the BOTD for now, but at the time it really felt like you were just twisting my words, and I get all worked up when I think someone is twisting my words because I don't think any civvie in their right mind would do that.
Why do you think I'm bad?
And why do you think you would be a target for the Warden?

Now though I will say I used my cigs because I figured I would be a target for the warden and do not want to lose my future votes.

Interesting you should ask, as I had just filed away a suspicion of him that I thought was premature to bring up.MovingPictures07 wrote: Llama, what do you think of Nev?
I know he is really busy, but I also know he is very savvy, and I am worried that he is deliberately remaining in the background to avoid suspicion. Notice how no one has talked about him until you brought him up just now. It is definitely the kind of play he would make if he thought he could get away with it, and since he has been busy and quiet the last couple of games he has been in, now would be a perfect time to make that play.
I will certainly be watching him closely.

It's like Homestar Runner (I can tick that namecheck off my to-do list today, sigh) where he voraciously suspected me (and you) and then a total 180*. He was so sure I was bad then (even though I wasn't). I'm an easy target lately, so why not me instead of him? It's not an unwise move really.MovingPictures07 wrote:Not sure what I think about llama v. Mongoose here, though I believe I am seeing civvie llama if I had to guess.

I feel compelled to point out that "I was good the last time you suspected me, so I must be good this time as well" is not a logically sound argument.

Sorry to hear that, man.reywaS wrote:Sorry I missed the vote and discussion yesterday guys. I had a bad day for the most part, and I also forgot that this game was 24/24. It won't happen again. I'll catch up soonish.

As of now it is an unfounded hunch. I would of been an easy target as I more or less admitted I had contraband and that is what allows his power to work.MovingPictures07 wrote:Not sure what I think about llama v. Mongoose here, though I believe I am seeing civvie llama if I had to guess.
Llama, what do you think of Nev?
I understand, no worries. Mistakes happen.johns2jj wrote:MP I went back and reread your posts you are correct you did not say anything that is my mistake.

How does it work? You're allowed to talk at night, but the I see the game moves a lot slower. Is it because people don't have to make a decision about who to lynch?

JJ, thanks for elaborating.
Llama, that's interesting. I am far from considering throwing a vote on Nev, but I was thinking something similar when I asked you that.

If that's true, and MP is a civ, he's in the same boat, isn't he? Then again, he could be lyingjohns2jj wrote:As of now it is an unfounded hunch. There's not a lynch but it gives everyone time to send in their power/role PMs as well as gather more intel/analyze what happened in the previous day's lynch. There's sometimes a night poll and sometimes not, depending on the game and the host.FZ. wrote:How does it work? You're allowed to talk at night, but the I see the game moves a lot slower. Re: [Night 1] The Shawshank Redemption Mafia
@ A person, why did you change your vote day 1? You were switching votes with Mongoose I believe, and when you saw Lizzie was getting votes, you voted for the other player who voted for himself. I think it was vompati? I suck at the names, sorry. Why did you bother? Especially after you legitimized voting for youreslf

I'm curious about FZ's point too. It's a very A Person play, imo, but I don't understand it
