JJJ, MP seem town. I’ve explained why for JJJ but MP also feels earnest and interested in solving the game. Epi seems to be playing as I have always seen him (town) so I can get behind him for now too.

I liked the cases made earlier on lapluie, Eloh, and I understood J’s ire toward Dyslexicon so I guess those are the biggest suspects. Because Marmot made one of those cases (lapluie) I would townread him too.

Scotty feels different to me from AG, where he was town, but maybe I’m not accustomed to his playstyle in general. Wolbre is playing similar to what I’ve seen but people have asked good questions of him and I don’t think he really addressed them. Choutas, as others have said, flying so far below radar I forgot he was here — not good. Slight scum lean on gut or soul or whatever.

Floyd, nothing. Nova, really not sure. Everybody I didn’t talk about, idk.

Colin, if you don't mind, can you try elaborating on a few of these? Like, specifically what is similar about Epi's game here, and different about Scotty?

Epi is always playful but asks really good questions, puts the conversation in different directions, makes contributions that are hard to fake. No idea what his scum game looks like, mind you, but I’ve observed the town one enough by now.

Scotty, I dunno, it’s a tone thing. I remember him in AG being silly (well, drunk) but then as time went by he seemed, from my perspective as a scum, to be a big player in the thread and someone I was wary of for a minute (until I died...) And here I’m not feeling the same way. It’s hard to articulate and maybe I could provide examples but it’s more like looking at the performance in the games together.

Well, this goes back to what I was discussing with Jay, but the truth is that townies act suspiciously all the time. So a specific effort needs to be made to discern whether players are being seemingly anti-town yet genuine, or the converse situation, seemingly supatown but insincere.

i think choutas seems like a pretty good option, I'm just nervous cus it seems a little too obvious. His scum hunting effort is clearly different between here and ancient Greece. In AG he was pointing things out, and making accusations even if he wasn't leading the posting race or anything.

Her initial suspicion of me was goofy, and I was critical. However, I spent the majority of this day phase as the lead wagon, and if she wanted to hop aboard she had every reason why she could do that. Instead she changed her mind based upon her initial misunderstanding of my burnout.

I don't think it's an amazing, brilliant beacon of civilianhood, but it's something.

Alright, thanks. So you have enough experience to know anti-town doesn't always equal scum. You voted Lapluie and said her behavior was not pro-town. Why not just say you think she's scum? I still have my beefs with her, but I do note Jay's observation that, if she is bad and he is good, that she could have railroaded him. All else being equal, mafia also tend to be more consistent than townies re: suspicions. So I was given enough pause for today.
