These are super weak though all around I've changed my mind multiple times on most people while reading the thread. For example when I read most of day 1 I was 100% civ on MP, but he has some bad looks around how the Choutas lynch eventually went down. Can't really decide how I feel about Marmot either.

Now just to find out my alignment.

I wouldn't treat a teammate so transparently terribly, but you know, WIFOM and my word and all of that, so I get it.

I have trouble interpreting heavy WIFOM statements like that. What do you think of it?

Sometimes it can be productive to let people think they're under the radar.

There are terrible repercussions though. In Ancient Greece, I took no pressure the whole game, then was hot potato'd on Day 6 (or 7) on a day when I even informed the thread I'd likely not be around. Luckily I was able to check in and activate my role to save myself.

I don’t think you treated choutas terribly, and I don’t think that’s the gist of what nutella is suggesting either. I think you left yourself outs for sure, after only lightly prodding choutas beforehand

I'm considering lynching Quin. His only sign of life today was to freak the hell out about some Dizzy interpretation of his own posts. I don't see evidence that this guy gives a crap about the hunt.

Her flip flop on Jay on day 1, the way she said she would have voted for choutas, saying "my heart's not in it", those are the main things that stick out. But honestly looking at her iso again I could see townies Eloh. I think I often read her backwards so idk

I'm feeling the same kind of paranoia I felt in Fiddler where I want to tinfoil those who were initially my top civ reads. Like actually I could flip my whole rainbow upside-down. I think I need to re-read the choutas interaction analyses to get some better direction on who to look at.

I was kind of torn. His hyper-defensiveness looked bad, but having not really played with him before (outside of before he died n1 in upick), I wondered if it was genuine/town. Then he actually did some legit hunting work which looked a lot better. I was hoping he would flip bad, mostly because I thought the Quin lynch was a bad idea so I was hoping for a productive alternative, but I wasn't too surprised at the flip. And honestly that whole EOD has me rethinking my Quin read.

I looked back at Ancient Greece to see why Colin was lynched there. He was lynched on Day 2 for his Day 1 vote, being noncommittal when three civilians were the leading wagons, and voting off-wagon.

Colin did off-vote on the Day 1 lynch, defending against the Choutas lynch and keeping his vote on lap. Day 2, he voted wolbre, after suspecting him from Night 1 onward. Maybe Colin just has more time to put into this game than Ancient Greece? Maybe the lower rate of activity in this one has allowed for him to settle in more? I dunno, I still think Colin's town. His progression of reads looks natural.

Yeah, speaking in the general, I would too. Historically I've defended, bussed, and spoken almost nothing or nothing of lynched mafia teammates in the past, but my inclination is always to bus them. If I do anything other than that, it's because I have to convince my gut that it's a better option. To me, bussing is less risky than defending, all else being equal, but you're right that it completely defends on the circumstances of the bus, because players sloppily bus each other all the time to no avail. It happens to anyone willing to take the risks of bussing eventually.

But even towards the end there, he was leaving himself open to voting all other major wagons. Makes me feel like his hands were in multiple honey jars and the honey jars were spilling over, if Colin is bad then I can see one of his bad reads here being a teammate. Like, if the Elo one had taken off for real (and she were bad) he could go “oh...well I said I thought wolbre or Quin or marmot was bad so ima vote there”
