I see BWT's post, and Boomslang's quote of BWT's post in this thread, so it must be the latter since both posts are addressing WWE.

@ HOST. I am PROFUSELY, that is COPIOUSLY sorry, and please do not hesitate to MK me for being such a PITA.

I can't tell you what you were thinking. That's hearsay.

How are both quotes true? One of them is a question.

I have one still that I will happily send anyone or post, but I think it probably looks like what you see. It took me a while to realize that they hadn't posted in the wrong thread but that I had responded to it thinking about the wrong game. I went back and forth on this, and then AP's post in the other game really confused me.

My screenshot shows Boomslang's quote-post of BWT's AP analysis in the WWE game, which I now realize is in the right thread.

In the same way that this statement is false

I will pull the other quote that I meant to quote with it but totally fucked up.

Being a dumbass though doesn't make me a baddie. Just a really stupid civ. There's no reason I'd do this on purpose and draw all this attention to myself just when it was starting to die down a bit.

This is really mortifying.

Gah, that led to a long and unfruitful tangent, and I'm not entirely sure how. Confirming that WWE is the only game I'm in right now.

Night 1 - This Bird Has Flown

Finally the group had arrived at the arena for Summerslam. Their adventure in the wilderness had not made things any easier for them, but the show must go on, and the fans were there to see a show, so a show they would get!

J.R.: Welcome, everyone, to Summerslam!!! It's been a dark few weeks here in WWE, but tonight is shaping up to be the best Summerslam of all time, King!

King: Yeah, mainly because I've got a match tonight! And I- Hey, what's this?!?!?!

What this was was, in fact, the Chairman himself, Vince McMahon. The boss stormed down to the ring.

"I'm going to make this short and sweet, because we've got a big show for you ingrates tonight! Now, as you all know, I'm a man of business. And if there's one thing I can't stand, it's someone who gets in my way. Quite frankly, I have no patience for people who inconvenience me. And this murder has definitely been an inconvenience. And so, I, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, have taken matters into my own hands. Show the footage!!!"

The Titantron shows a trailer marked "BWT" in the parking lot.

Vince continued, "As you all can see, BWT has his big fancy trailer out there, but he refuses to come out. Sounds pretty suspicious to me! And what's more, it's a slap in the face to this company, and to me, Vincent Kennedy McMahon. So without further ado, BWT, YOU'RE FIIIIIIRRRRREEEEDDDD!!!!"

At that signal, BWT's trailer exploded, killing BWT instantly.

Vince then left the ring. "Alright then, let's get on with the show!"

BWT has been killed by the Corporation. It is now Day. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

Dex, Elohcin, CBK, Vomp, Rey, WOG, and Lizzy will all start the day with an additional vote for failing to make five on-topic posts.

You guys, this all really bothered me and kept me up. Then I read The Shining sequel to take my mind off it and so my dreams blended together, so that was nuts.

I believe this to be the occurrence of events.

1. I read BWT's post in RE: A Person on the WWE thread and liked what was said.
2. The confusion began when I started thinking about BWT's AP thread in the speed game.
3. I voted for A Person in the night poll in the speed game due to BWT's post in the WWE thread, not realizing I was confused.
4. I changed my vote in the speed game from A Person to Llama, to reasons that are not relevant to this game.
5. I saw Boomslang's quoting of BWT's post about AP and thinking I was in the thread with the night poll, wrote that I was glad I had switched my vote from AP to Llama.
6. I immediately noticed something didn't add up and thought I had posted in the wrong forum.
7. Then I thought Boomslang had posted in the wrong forum.
8. I read over Boomslang's posts and BWT's posts and realized there wasn't actually a cross-post (Dev posted something that helped me come to this conclusion).
9. I initially bled this game over into the speed game, so when I bled the speed game back over into the Full Game, it took me a while to figure out what happened. I was confused for a long time.
10. I have no idea what is up with AP's apparent x-post.
11. And yes, I probably won't be playing two TS games at once anymore. I did have a screwy day at work where we had to call security and it had me reeling all day, so that threw me for a loop. I was distracted by the fall out all day.
12. Very sorry. Especially to the two hosts and everyone I confused (everyone). I think I was Captain Confused.
13. S'mores?

Wat?

While I may not think that every piece of a game thread should be dissected in so much detail, the thread does exist for a reason: Discussing anything and everything before the lynch. Otherwise, everyone would just vote like I did.

I would never dissuade the game's participants from discussing something, no matter how trivial I personally believe it is.

Why did you randomize in one thread and actively look for a place to leave your vote in the other? :ponder:

I believe Mongoose, for one, and agree that the conversation regarding it needs to be put to rest. And for the record, I've gotten nothing but civvie vibes from her this game, so I am putting faith in that and certainly NOT considering a vote for her.

MR, I'm getting some pretty good vibes from you in this game, but I have to say I'm puzzled by your vote. Is it just a vibes thing? I honestly can't tell from K4J one way or the other, though I do suppose I was intrigued by how quickly he seemed to come out of the gates, then sort of backed off of me, then hasn't been around much since. I look forward to his thoughts too whenever he comes back around!

Lizzy's drive-by vote is pingworthy. One has to seriously consider whether it's a baddie without much time on her hands or just a civvie without much time on her hands. Thoughts?

As to BWT... good question. I did notice he was seeming pretty helpful during the night period; maybe the baddies just saw him as a threat? I'll go back and re-read his posts to see if he really talked about anyone... I can't remember if he actually asserted anything strongly re: suspicions or not.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeey... now wait just a minute there, buster! Why can't I be an indie without much time on my hands? Poor indies, no-one gives a toss about them. :overreact:

Okay, so, BWT. I realize he could have been the opposing mafia team or an independent... but based on the way he was posting, I'm tempted to say he was a civvie. Regardless, I have a hard time believing the Corporation killed him without ANY reason, anyway.

And yes, I agree that a civ lynch has less impact on the game. The chances are SO high we will lynch a civ on Day 1 (I mean so, so high. 80%?) that I feel like a no-lynch is a nice respite. A chance to take a deep breath before being plunged in to icy cold water again for another day of The Tumble Cycle. (I wish I could narrate this for you).

We get one more day to get our bearings. Cause then if we do lynch a baddie on Day 2, we have enough info for the intel we gained from it to actually be meaningful and helpful.
Well, just for clarification, the odds of a civ lynch are (18/30)*100%, or 60%. If you include the independents, the chances go up to 70%, but as the role descriptions lead me to believe that at least two indies are last man standing roles, I don't think that's accurate. So it's not quite as hopeless!
Oooh, math'd! Thanks, that was cool, Boomslang. I'm visual, so it helped to see that.
Does anyone else think this sounded a little too....helpful?
I was referring just to Mongoose's comment there. Not Boomslang's original one.
There is this....

(I had to cut out SVS's post right before BWT's most recent quote clarifying who he was talking about because I may embed only 5 quotes within each other)

And then his vote. Interesting that he voted Epig.

And then he was very helpful during the Night 1 period and seemed to believe it made more sense for AP to be civvie, yet was still open to considerations otherwise.

Hmmmm...

What do you guys think? Is it more likely that Epig is a baddie and wanted to shut up someone who actually voted for him or was the baddie team trying to set up an Epig lynch? Or is it meaningless?

I see, haha, so you got trigger happy. Understood. I just wanted to see if you had any underlying reasons.

Hmmm... any other thoughts right now? What are you thinking about Lizzy?
