I take that to mean this is over with but isn't because lapluie is still around.

Show of hands?
I think he’s presuming that we’re going through with the lynch even though there’s 24 hours left

Maybe if we had a hammer vote sure, but we don’t

You’re jumping to conclusions

agreed with sprit. Too much uncertainty in general, man

On top of that, it should ALWAYS be presumed the hosts intentions are neutral and non alignment indicative. Assumptions as such can be right but they can also be wrong

I've seen too many counterexamples to make that presumption.

I don't know if it is correct, but I don't think Epi is acting too oddly. I can understand how he got there.

Actually you’re right, it’s not odd for you because you do jump to conclusions erratically all the time. I just find it odd because I would never do such a bold statement

Look:

1. lapluie isn't contributing, so she won't vote when it's necessary to do so
2. The host has a somewhat replacement
3. There's evidence the MacDougall kill was poorly thought out
4. I'm not bad
5. Neither is anybody else
6. Can we get on with our lives?

My point is this: If you want to keep lapuie around before endgame, what is your reason?

I never said I wanted to, I said I was fine with the lynch. Was just weirded out by what you said.

This whole avenue was just a dumb circle, so yes let us move on

Ok I'm joining the club [VOTE: Lap] aubergine. We still have a full day as sprityo points out and I'm going to keep reading people so am subject to change but I could see it being lap.

Question for the group: do we believe there is only 1 mafia left? If so the voting makes sense. If not, then I think we should reconsider.

In a game with 16 players my guess would be either 3 scum with some really strong powers or 4 with average powers. I don’t know which of those looks to be the case but I think there’s a good chance lap would be the last scum since there doesn’t seem to be any teammates even subtly defending her.

idk this seems good

enough things seem to point towards lapluie being bad but if she isn't bad having her around at end game is a big risk

EOD is past my bedtime in this game so is anyone thinking we should do something else besides vote lap?

NIGHT 4

In the year 3527...

Lapluie has gone missing... Macdougall has reappeared...

And the time tour has hopped from a zepplin to the NZSS Waitangi, in a future tour of outer space.

Image

"After all, if we're going to tour timespace, it makes sense to leave earth for a bit," the tour guide says. "Earth is only a tiny drop of water and dirt in the cosmos."

The crew looks expectantly at their guide. Waiting.

"What?" he says.

"Excuse me," Kylemii says. "Aren't we going to commit some petty act of vandalism?"

"Petty vandalism? I would never!" the guide cries. "You must think I'm some sort of tool!"

"Well, yes," Epi offers. "I did, at least."

"I scoff at you, sir." The tour guide faces a window. "Petty. Hah! We are aboard one of the greatest technical marvels known to mankind. As if I would be petty. Ahem."

"We are going to use this ship as a means of deploying illegal graffiti on an entire planet."

Image

"With paint?"

The tour guide nods.

"Whatever, screw it, I'm down," Sprityo says. "However this works."

"Democracy still reigns," the guide says. Which of you shall man the controls?

Lapluie has been vanished (lynched)! Macdougal has reappeared, albeit as a political stump! He can do whatever a stump can, but also gets a vote in elections.

It is Night 4! Get those night actions in, and get to voting! 24 hours remain, until 11 PM EST - June 27th

"All you who wander this desolate wasteland known as "reality" in a vain attempt to eke out some purpose and meaning hear this, and hear it well."

"When you have seen what I have seen and you have been where I have been then you'll understand. You'll understand that the darkness in your soul was light all along. You'll understand that the anxiety that ate at your mind was right all along. You'll understand that the love that kept your aim straight and true was the only thing you ever really had and now that it's gone the only thing you have left is to be consumed entirely by the darkness.

"Who is left but you and your mad thoughts? Who is left but you and your soft flesh ready to be consumed by billions upon billions of micro-organisms who individually are nothing compared to you but together are more than any human or humanity could ever hope to be. A purpose. A simple and programmed purpose. No fear. No anger. No sorrow. No sadness. No loss. Just purpose. How beautiful."

"I ask you what the fuck is left when all hope is gone? Because I tell you all hope is gone. All hope has always been gone. It was never even here in the first place man! Realise! What is left but experience? What is left but your body? What is left but to learn more about the dark side of your soul? What is left but to be free?"

"I tell you this not to scare you but to console you. To liberate you."

"Come walk with me in the darkness friends and experience the only freedom that there is. It's the only fucking chance at freedom you'll ever really have. So come walk with me in the darkness."

"Don't let fear be your guiding light anymore."

"If the dead are to be believed they are all righteous to a man. The only one who didn't provide an argument to the contrary was the one named Lunalee. Sigmund was adamant he wasn't a villain."

"But I know better than this! The man is a scoundrel and his tongue is forked like the serpent! And now he is damned to oblivion, with no chance of return. Hahahahahaha. Rest in pieces Sigmund... forever."

"Epignosis and Scotty are marked for death on this night. I can taste it in the air around them. The universe has unsheathed it's death blade with intent to satisfy it's endless thirst for blood. Get your affairs in order boys. It's gonna be a rocky one and you aren't guaranteed tomorrow."

"Heh, I like the hubris son but you've got a lot to learn about the world. There are some that'll accept being taunted like this but I'm not one of them kid. God damn I've seen too much shit. I know the sort of shit you can get yourself into. You pick the wrong person once and next minute you got your head blown off and your kids don't have a pappy no more. You gotta be more careful with your taunts. For your kids. For your family."

I was returned to the thread by vote. The dead voted and the vote was for me because of Spacedaisy's call.

Luna voted for herself
Sig, nutella, Quin and myself voted for me
TH didn't vote
