I've never been particularly good at reading her, so I think that tends to put me off trying to form a strong opinion. I have thought a couple of things from her were odd, the day one stuff with Epi reminded me of times I've seen her as a baddie. She also said she thought Mongoose might have been trying to distract people by bringing up the whole crosspost issue but I don't see why any player, particularly someone as experienced as SVS, would think that somebody might consider that as a useful tactic. I think she's more likely to be bad than you are but I dunno if I'm prepared to back that up with a vote.
I know what you mean. I feel really similarly. I've never been good at reading her either; I've been right about her as many times as I can count on one hand, most of them in the past year. Lol.

Help me out here though. :(

Yeah he has kind of backed off, but rightfully so, if you ask me because I would expect him to trust me at least for a little while, on my interpretation of her behavior.

SVS, I think my main concerns with her are more "solid" than MP, because they're actions rather than general style. What I still to this day don't like is how she thought Mongoose was scum for crossing the threads, (she defended this, I totally forget what she said, maybe I need to go back and check). I know she felt that Mongoose was trying to stay offtopic because of a lie detector, but I don't know about this one. Anyone who used this is just suspicious to me. Then there is her latest vote for MP that is almost a: I have to do this, instead of I want to do this kind of vote, which pings me.

Then there is MR, who just throws most of his votes away, and that is super suspicious to me but apparently not out of character.

Of course Sorsha's vote for Vomps was suspicious to me too and her defensiveness around it. But she is kind of on the back burner because I haven't seen anything else from her to reenforce my feelings.
You don't think the way Sorsha voted for me today was suspicious?

The way she made it about Daisy's "mostly throwaway" instead of about her feelings of me pinged me. In addition, I addressed her points about me but she ignored them completely.

I just don't get it.

I guess I missed the connection between her and Daisy's vote. Was she implying that Daisy voted for a reason and that she was following that? I know she said it probably was not a throwaway vote because why not vote for yourself, which was weird. Daisy even said it was mostly... I kind of think her vote was her protecting Lou.

She ignored my responses to her accusations as well. Hmm.

I'm not totally sure I understand it either, but she said:

Absolutely. It's why I called him flip floppy.

And I really don't think daisys vote was a throw away either. If it's throwaway why not vote for yourself?

I'm voting MP
So take that as you will. Even I'm not sure it makes her bad, but it makes me seriously doubt my considerations of her as civvie for the first time.

I just was a bit surprised you didn't mention it.

Nah, just makes him sound desperate to stay alive. Civs get desperate as well. In my experience desperate baddies go for more threatening "oh you really don't want me dead. Not because my baddie teammates will slaughter all my voters but because I'm such an awesome civ you'll literally cry when my role is revealed and the game will be over even though I'm only the third person to be lynched" tactics. Don't get me wrong, I don't think MP is definitely 100% super-civ who I'd trust to the end of my days, but I don't think he's bad either.

@MP, yeah I blanked on that which is why I did not mention it. It definitely is weird, I think I was blinded because at the time, I agreed that you were flippy floppy. Then again looking at myself today, I am too!

Hmm, that does make sense, if both sides use appeals I can see this one being a more townie approach.....not positive! Thanks for your input.

I really need to remember to multiquote.

Sorsha also didn't respond to my comments aimed at her. When she does respond to stuff I get the feeling she doesn't really care. Not one of her posts have given me a good feeling about her actually, and her seeming refusal to respond to accusations doesn't help. I might actually vote that way again.

Wouldn't a civ want to do all those things as well though? It's not like anyone signs up for a game intending not to see the end. I know I always try to address anyone who mentions suspicions of me in any game regardless of alignment.

Yes, you're right. I guess as a civ, sometimes I say, whatever (after defending myself) but as scum I tend to make sure I settle down the suspicions and don't give up until everyone understands........IDK

Sorsha's behavior does seem more frustrated and less passionate than I am used to seeing from her.

I'm not even sold it makes her bad, but it certainly is illogical and pingworthy, and I find it odd no one has even voted her today.

Different altogether, or different from her civ status?
Perhaps she is just not into the game because of a new environment? I have no idea but I know that can be a cause of acting differently.

Altogether, I think. I haven't played with her as much as I have like S~V~S though, for example. But I can't remember seeing her quite like this regardless. I attributed some of the frustration to Vomps, but maybe I'm wrong.

Ehhh.. possibly. I have recruited her in the past though to help me out on another site and I don't remember her acting like this either.

I believe MP to be civ and don't really want to see him lynched. I'll be voting WOG. No posts and no votes, I'd rather lose WOG on a 50/50 chance of being baddie than lose MP, who's making contributions and while it may not have led to anything yet, I do want to give him more time to help us find baddies. Plus I don't believe DFaraday answered the question of whether or not WOG was looking for a replacement. While I don't want to make assumptions based on the lack of a host post, My gut is telling me that WOG is a baddie who couldn't be replaced by an undead BWT. If other people are feeling like MP is worth saving but don't know who else to vote for, I offer WOG as an alternative for your vote. Not much, but meh, that seems to be the story of this game so far.

It would be a shame to lynch the most active player in the thread for not much at all, especially when there seems a decent number of people who believe that he's innocent. But he could be baddie scum for all I know. I just really don't want to lose another civ today.

For what it's worth, I fight just as hard for my life when I'm civvie as when I'm baddie. I'm pretty sure I've seen MP do the same. I don't know why anyone wouldn't.

I guess we just have different styles which affect the way we view this kind of stuff. I go to my grave defending no matter what, even if I'm frustrated and stressed I fight. Sometimes as a doomed civ I just have to laugh at people who are determined that I'm bad.

Linki - I haven't formed a strong opinion of MR, but it's nearly 2 am and I'm too tired to start now. I will look at him when I'm awake though. Sorry that that doesn't really help you right now.

Third linki (yeah I skipped one) - Oh my god can I just post? :P

I feel like a vote for someone more suspicious would have been a better move than this. Especially if you want to truly save MP, why not vote someone else others are already considering than come up with your own alternative?

Not really MP. Out of the people who currently have votes the only one I have any suspicion of is Boomslang, and I can't even really articulate my suspicion of him, let alone vote on it. While I feel strongly that you are civ, I also don't want to vote on a half-assed suspicion to save you and potentially cause a different civ to get lynched instead. I don't really feel bad about losing WOG though... She is likely not using her role if she's civ, and it's been two weeks since the game started. I really don't think she intends to play.

I need to get to bed before I pass out. Going to stick with my previous vote for Sorsha and hope that others join me in that. She bandwagon'ed Mongoose, has been blendy and dismissive of suspicions (sometimes to the point of ignoring them), and the logic behind her MP vote seems questionable. I would like to vote someone who already had a vote in hope of preventing what I think would be a civ lynch (MP), but I'm just not suspicious enough of anyone who already does have a vote.

*Votes Sorsha*

Point well-illustrated.

I'm still holding my vote though because I obviously don't know what's going to happen.

Linkitis: Ahhhh!! More vote spread! While I understand both WOG and Sorsha votes... actually more so than most of the others who have 1 vote, this is scaring me. Definitely still holding my vote.

I'll say that I like my completely circumstantial, no actual evidence case on WOG more than I like the case on Sorsha. I feel that Sorsha is one of the most mis-read players in the game Not unlike MP. Although she's definitely not as talkative :P

I've suspected MR at times but I don't have any sort of read on him. His votes are definitely strange; he's voted for an insanified player twice out of three possible times. But I don't really know what that means about his alignment. And I don't feel comfortable throwing him to the wolves. I want to save MP but I don't want that to cloud my judgment on other players and end up making the wrong move. I understand if others can't follow me on my WOG vote but it seems like my best option currently.

I feel like voting MR right now would just be a waste but I don't feel confident on others at the moment. Ugh.
And I don't really thing voting WOG is the best choice..

Hey guys, only here for a few minutes because I am super sick right now. The flu is really knocking the stuffing out of me and I can't even begin to think about catching up. But I know that I need to place my vote, the only problem is, Idk who to vote for. I kinda want to vote for MP because of the way he came at me, while it may have seemed like a civvie thing he was doing, I've been thinking that maybe he saw me as an easy target because he could tell people this isn't how I played as a civ on ksite. That's probably far fetched but it was a thought I had at the time. That plus as soon as K4J and Daisy defended me, he started backing off which makes me wonder if he got rattled by them and decided to back off.

And Lou, I think it makes sense for him to back off because I know you better than him and he knows that, so not so sure that's scummy. He backed off before Daisy said anything, I believe.

And K4J, I just can't win, can I? Someone accused me of being inconsistent becasue i deviated from my Devin suspicion to vote for Mongoose. So I had intended to vote for him again becasue i still think hes bad. But i have 2 votes, and have to think of saving myself. And since i ALSO think MP is bad, there ya go.
I just meant trying to uncover baddies, but not successful. It seemed he has been putting in an extreme amount of effort to find baddies and that seems unlikely that he would work so had as a baddie.

I am finding myself a bit at a loss. Of the 9 people who have votes they were not necessarily at the top of my list and I dont feel comfortable voting Epi while insanified. I hate to spread it further, but I am leaning to an MR vote or Boom at this point.

Can you explain your thoughts on MR? I would probably join you, but would like to know why exactly you find him scummy and if you see a difference between this game and his past civvie games. Sorry if I already asked you this and you replied, I asked a lot of people, Lol!

Fair point but it still seems weird to me. The way he put subtle words in there to influence people too. Like the OH MY GOD and stuff like that. Didn't sit well.

Yeah, I don't like his votes. They are pretty wasteful.
And what you said about MP - yeah I actually forgot about his "OH MY GOD" contributions. This is too hard...

Why is it we all agree spreading votes allows baddie manipulation yet we continue to do so?

Ugh. I wanted to go to bed but I don't want to throw my vote and then see I could have saved myself by one vote if I had just waited.

Sigh, I don't know.

It kind of depends on how many players still have to vote and who would be willing to vote where, etc.

I would suggest S~V~S since she currently has 2 votes, I suppose, and could be bad for all I know.

Out of those with 1 vote, I would be most willing to vote Bass or Sorsha, I think. Or Lizzy even.

Oh, I suppose WOG is a possibility if we're going to consider those with 1 votes as well.

Man, this vote is crazy spread out. I can't believe I might die with only 4 votes.

My slow reading of MR isnt making me feel better about him. He was really active early in the game and seems to have tapered off. Why is that?

However, as noted this will do nothing to save MP. Seems like Epi, MP (obvi), maybe K4j, and I are interested in not lynching MP currently. Is this correct?

I dont have a read on Sorsha that much, dont really want to vote Lizzy or Bass though.

I think Epi wpuld like to help save MP and then Go the F to Sleep.
