Mac literally always proposes information lunches and lynching low posters. I’ve fought with him about it in multiple games. I hate the ideas, but I’ve learned with time that it’s how he wants to play and he’s not changing it. I’d be absolutely flabbergasted if it were alignment indicative in any way.

I honestly think the whole Mac thing traces back to Alien’s BS “scumslip” thing. I think the recent flips by others are taking advantage of the miasma that created and are factually based on just who Mac is. It reeks.

No. But we’ve played probably no more than 4 games together previously, and we’ve fought about it in half or more of them. I think it was X-Men where I literally went after him for days on end over it. Turns out we were both good iirc

jay will consistently coerce me into contributing more early on. Sloonei does it too. They do it cus they're cyberbullies. Jay's treatment of me doesn't seem out of the ordinary to me, unless he's consciously trying to reinforce a civ tendency he has.

I looked into this Mac/Russ dynamic that MP mentioned. They've played in a game together three times:

Talking Heads - both mafia
Star Wars - Russ Jawa indy / Mac civilian
Romance of the Three Kingdoms - Russ civilian / Mac Nanman mafia

This wouldn't seem to point to whatever parallel MP was thinking of.

I'm not comfortable giving Kyle civilian credit for the content he has put in this thread. Apart from defending himself and making his typical alignment-neutral sillies, his relevant play has been very limited. We can play "that's Kyle being Kyle" all day, but I don't stand for that terrible mindset. It's exactly the mindset which deliberately pursues with the strategy he has openly employed for his duration on this website (the second time). He's approaching 100 posts, and I have certain expectations for 100 posts. There hasn't been anything that I can grab and say "okay, this is the civilian I have been looking for".

But his tone is pure AF, look at his back and forth with Colin this morning.

No, I don't believe MP is outside his range. I might be willing to believe that he believes he is outside his range. I might have felt differently a few weeks ago, but I have to adapt my perspectives for a guy who posted such an insane number of times in those two MU games (even if as a civilian). To put those numbers in perspective, I believe a four-digit post count in a game has only been achieved five times or so on this website (twice by me, once by Ricochet, once by Sloonei, and once by Golden). MP put up two grand twice in a row, and that means the baseline expectation needs to change some undefined amount.
