FZ, I think that boo made a good case on John, and if I was not sure boo was bad, I would have voted for John based on it. I think I got on Lizzys nerves early in the game and she started seeing things that are not there about me. But then this is pretty SOP for me, I always take more flak when I am a civil because I say more crap since I don't have a filter, and because no one is relying on me.

I might actually vote for someone else next time depending on what happens overnight. There was a huge overt case of target painting further up there that totally flabbergasted me, I actually gasped out loud when I read it.

This made me laugh, after seeing how much flak you do tend to take in games I've played with you. Interested to hear more about that target painting tomorrow.

Bullz, on my readthrough, you actually have said some fairly useful stuff. My mistake, I'll not consider you a low participant any more.

FZ. wrote:I'm sorry. I fell asleep on my lap top  . I can't believe I didn't vote. I was planning on voting jj, but now I'm kind of glad I didn't, because Russ' words made me feel bad about it. Russ, if you're jj's sister, you're going down  But OK. So how do you suggest we deal with jj? Like I said, everything is tainted now. Does the fact he wanted to be lynched mean nothing to you? Would you not expect a civ to tell us they are not a sister?

So again, no lynch? This is happening too much. No night kills, no lynches going through. What's the point in playing, LOL. This never happens so much where I play.

As for the reasons for the vote not going through, whoever said it was a tie, that would still mean a lynch, just randomized. Unless you meant that the other person could survive a lynch. I need to check who that was.
I doubt only civs could survive a lynch, because that would make it too obvious to figure out they are civs.
I can see it as sort of a punishment if what Ello did was real.
I find it weird that none of you know if it's the sort of thing Ello would do or not. If she's ever done that before.

Now to the other players. What do people think aboutLizzie? She seems to be very, and I mean very sure about jj. She's also very suspicious of SVS. There's an interesting thing going between them. Lizzie is suspicious of SVS and sure jj is a civ. SVS is sure jj is a baddie and is not disturbed at all by the fact Lizzie thinks he's a civ or by the fact she thinks she's bad. If it was just the latter, I'd understand, but the combination of the two is just really strange to me. I was getting civ vibes from SVS lately, but this is too strange.
What do you think about that?

And how is Dom back?
I would say Russ, Lizzie and jj being the sisters would be too obvious, but with how you people play the game, I don't know anymore.
Welcome back, Dom! I'll be glad to hear from you, I was enjoying having you around earlier in the game.

I've stated my reasons for not voting JJ, over and over at this point. I've also stated that no one has made a thread-based case on him, and that if and only if that happens I will be willing to consider voting him. Anything else isn't playing the game right. If that makes you think I'm bad, so be it.

Like Lizzie said, I've seen civs self-vote out of frustration TONS of times on this site. I've never ever seen a baddie do it, because they feel responsible to their teammates. As for the fact that he hasn't said Elo was lying, I honestly don't know. It is his first game ever, so he almost certainly doesn't know that's protocol. And if he did say so, what difference does it make? Denying something has no effect on its truth at all, logically speaking. So no, neither of the facts you mentioned change my opinion of him, or of what we should do. You want to suspect me for it, be my guest.

You're making an assumption based on games you've played before that doesn't apply here, FZ. Epi handles lynches in such a way that ties are no lynch, not a randomized one. That's unusual, I know, but it's how he plays it. As for there being no NKs, wtf?? Any civ should be glad when an NK doesn't go through, because it can only help us. And I think only one has been survived anyway, so if you are a frustrated baddie, you'll have plenty more chances.
I might be mixing this game and the other, I'm sorry. I remember one of the hosts saying they randomize the vote if tied, but maybe it was there would be no lynch. Playing too games on a new site has consequences, sorry.

As for twisting my words about not being happy there is no NK, I don't like that you did it. It was a joke, and it is weird for me that so many times (in both games, I don't remember which had more), the lynch and the kill didn't go through.
I also got what you said about jj, I just commented that if we were to go and build a case, it would be contrived. You know that anyone can build a case on everyone, and like SVS said below, some people catch flack more when they are civs, so any suspicions on jj will not be tabulla rasa, just saying.

You could coment on things that have happened to you this game, pick a random (or nonrandom) player and give your opinion on them, comment on FZ's post about S~V~S and Lizzie...

I'd just love to hear from either of you in more than on line at a time about what's going on. We can use all the help we can get.
Honestly, I would love to comment on something. But my participation in this game (and WWE for that matter) is probably the worst I've ever been. For some reason, I feel like I'm not absorbing anything that is happening in this game at all. I would consider offering to be replaced, but I don't know if it would actually be worthwhile given how far along we are.

Have you played with Lizzy much before? Is she familiar with your play style?

:| Really?

Since you ask, Sorsha~ this very topic came up in the other game, too  I am quoting it rather than rewriting it, basically.
Lizzy wrote:although I've seen SVS throw her teammates under the bus when it was very convenient for her personally k. :mafia:
S~V~S wrote:I just quickie looked in in the HOF, and the only big game here that may have happened was Grimm, and i tried hard to keep my whole team alive in that one. I was a civvie in most of the speed games that i could see, or otherwise had no teammates.

There was Supernatural at RM, but there was no hard throwing there either. I did not draw suspicion on anyone on my team, as i totally HATE when people do that, which anyone who has had BTS with me knows (other than in Survivor, or similar LMS games) and only vote for them when they are already going down.

This would cover our game playing history, and i don't see where you might have seen me do that.
The other games we played together I was either civ, or in one, the SK, or some other form of Indy. So she saw my bad game in Grimm (with Sockpuppets) and Supernatural, assuming she played all the games I did, i did not check, and don't have time now really, since i am on my way out, and the site just came back up.

Talking to the Dead
That Ephraim is one strange fella. To Russtifinko's delight, he pointed to the letter "I" and the other betters erupted in booing and groaning. Some of us didn't hear what the loon said next on account of the commotion, but Russtifinko heard just fine. So did I.

"I can talk to the dead," Ephraim said, his voice cold and sinister. "Is there anyone you want to talk to?" he asked Russtifinko, and I swear I saw his skin crawl. "Perhaps a lost relative? A friend? I could speak to FZ for you, if you want," Ephraim said.

That was a strange thing to say. FZ wasn't-

But he was. They found him in his cell, his neck bust.

FZ. has been killed by Hadley. It is now Day 8. You have 24 hours to lynch someone.

RIP FZ, not totally sure what I thought of you tbh. I mostly had a civ feel for you, then you would say something that would raise my brow a bit.

I would be interested in mongooses answer to Sorshas last question.

To me a tie seems a bit more Occam's especially in an Epi-hosted game since he doesn't break the ties.

Seems like the mongoose suspicion simmered down once llama wasn't around to push it. I read over it and I wasn't overwhelmed by it, but it's possible that he learned something through his role or item that he received and just didn't have much thread evidence to back it up with?

Who make the case on bullz? I don't recall it. I can look for it later if someone remembers who did the case. Unless someone just wants to give me the main points of interest from it, that'd be great.

Sorsha, I recently listed Bullz among a number of players who haven't contributed a great deal. He argued the point, and after I read back I decided it was unfair of me to say. Not sure if there was another case on him before that.

I will also submit that I still think BWT bears considering for today's lynch. I feel fairly good about S~V~S and I'm not convinced about JJSJSJJSJSSJJJSJS, but BWT survived an NK, and the way I see it there are only 2 possible ways that could have happened. He also is actively refusing to participate, whereas S~V~S nabbed us our first baddie.

I'll likely look his way today. I would love to at least talk about him with some people, even if you won't vote him, just to make sure I'm not in la-la land with this.

Interesting that you are willing to extend this courtesy to these two, but i doubt you will extend it to John. I am not, where there is smoke there is fire, and boo is an astute guy, and he really wanted to lynch sisters.
Absolutely agreed, SVS. You and I had a discussion once about how we play as baddies. One thing I notice that you, Boo, and myself have in common is that we are CONSTANTLY hunting for baddies.

Well, I'm gonna vote tonight, and without more discussion, it's gonna be for JJ.

That's partially why I am finally okay with a JJJS vote is because she endorsed it or at least voted that way previously.

@ Dom - Just all the people who have been getting a lot of heat this game. JJJS, BWT etc. I just said "Usual Suspects" to allude to the awesome movie of the same name and to avoid using "etc" or "et al"

I think BWT also has warranted a looking at... he is totally non participatory and that isn't kosher.

I understand. :) Still got my :eye: on you. Can't help it.

I'll likely look his way today. I would love to at least talk about him with some people, even if you won't vote him, just to make sure I'm not in la-la land with this.
What are the two possible ways he could have survived an NK?

Yeah, I haven't been participatory in either game I'm in right now on TS. I just haven't been able to mentally get into either one, no matter how hard I try. I don't blame anyone who looks at me as suspicious today and decides to vote for me. God knows I've deserved it.

I don't remember there ever really being a case on me, other than Russ saying I wasn't participating.

These are some decent points. I have no idea why people would vote SVS, I think she's seemed quite civ all game.

There are 2 (two) roles with secrets in this game - a civ and a cereal killer, and the latter would make more sense to survive a NK attempt. Now then now then, I would, again, advise you to NOT go after the SK because he's NOT the one killing people at night; not when there are baddie candidates roaming freely in the thread. There's enough time to get him later. Bringing up a non-active player is your average baddie leitmotif so I'll be keeping an eye on those so bring that forth. Also, please don't vote for jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj. Today I'll have the usual: SVS or Mongoose.

:sigh: whatever works for you, she might be bad, but this game will teach you you have zero clue about me. Sorry i offended you with my Day One vote, it is what it is.

So is this~

Just an FYI~ Last night I took a fall down a set of stairs (alcohol not involved :noble: , laundry WAS involved). I am OK, just a twisted (sore, swollen) knee, BUT I spent quality time in the er last night, and now I have to go to work (out of sick days, our work year ends of the FRIDAY OF New Years Day, clever me I thought i had it timed so well, lol) in a blizzard, so sorry, but i will most def be home tonight

I voted John since I was not sure if i would get back in time for the poll, I was thinking of the original time, it used to end when i was in work

I was also considering a vote for Mongoose, her target painting thing and repeatedly pointing it out again in case anyone missed it most def got my attention.

1. I never get offended in games. They're just games. (all right, I was a tad annoyed in the Sherlock game, but that involved the host and I've been over that for a while ;P) If I did take them seriously and get offended that easily I would have stopped playing long ago given the times I've been lynched, and always as a civ.
2. With the above in mind, I'm after you because I thought you were extremely opportunistic when you voted for me then and then quickly backed off when I called you out on it. I think I have been quite clear before in regards to my reasons.
3. Being emotional and making me feel guilty about it won't let you off the hook. Quite the contrary; I don't negotiate with emotional terrorists. :p

I'm sorry to hear about that. Get well soon, and get as much rest as possible when you get home k :hugs:

Thanks for this post, Liz. You make some really good points. I will say I think we should get the SK sometime soon, but I agree it's not top priority.

I'd love for us to be able to form a voting bloc, because I don't think JJ should be lynched, as I said. However, I am not on board with lynching S~V~S. I think it's a bad idea. I don't feel super amazing about voting Mongoose, but I'm less against it than an S~V~S vote.

Dom, thanks for bringing this up.

FZ, I know you were bothered that I brought up you sounding frustrated about NKs not going through. I honestly did not realize that was a joke. It was buried in the middle of a normal post, and as I'm sure you know, tone is hard to convey in mafia.

This, to me anyway, reads as you being frustrated Dom is back. I think he's been super helpful so far this game, and so I don't understand why anyone would be anything other than happy about it.

I'd be down for an FZ vote if others seem inclined to join me.

I'm fine with either SVS or Mongoose. I don't think you'd defend SVS if you two were on a team together, but dammit, mate, I don't think I'll ever be able to trust you after Meat Boy. Plus the nice helpful thing you're doing just now is driving me bananas. :p Also, I believe Hadley already took care of FZ.

I could see a Mongoose vote. The target painting definitely doesn't seem civvie, and there's also the fact Llama was pushing on her quite a bit while he was alive. We don't know for sure his allegiance (neutral or indy), but he definitely wasn't bad so he was probably trying to find actual baddies.

Linki- I guess your coin-of-questionable-luck agrees :p
