I can't get behind this, I've caught a few scum off of patterns that pinged me in just a few posts, and here Russ caught onto a pattern across alien's entire body of work. His progression makes sense too, you can see him digging into alien's stuff deeper as a townie's natural response to that having caught a scent feel, plus they jibe decently with the timing of my own internal alarms going off.

Not to mention from what i'm seeing in this community's meta, i have doubts as to the likelihood of one scumbuddy looking at the other and going, "hey, i'm case the shit out of you and try to lynch you d1, okay, really actively-playing new guy"?

Continual reevaluation is good and holy and a must, but seriously tinfoiling the guy who cased mafia on d1, on d2, seems silly and likely counterproductive.

You should be warned though Tsaiah that there have been some pretty outrageous examples of bussing on this site, so I think it's natural for a town Colin to think this out loud as well though.

There are four major things I think we should dial in on in order to determine who next to lynch. I will call them "Quadrants".


Quadrant 1: Who did Alien talk about? Who did they suspect? Who did they trust?

Quadrant 2: Who talked about alien? Who trusted them, who suspected them? When did they suspect alien (pre/post Russ Case?)

Quadrant 3: How did people react to the Russ Case and similar Alien Cases? Was there a save attempt or a bus attempt?

Quadrant 4: Who can we clear based on an alien lynch?

This is a bit Captain Obvious. That doesn't have to be a problem. Sometimes obvious calls to action are worthwhile to motivate people.

But DH has done nothing with any of these quadrants. Indeed, he has received two votes and no allies, and his only effort has been to give me sarcasm. I'm inclined to view the "quadrants" post as fake.

Agree. My gut actually thinks it’s beyond compatible and just plain indicative but it’s still not a slam dunk. Looks bad though.
