Hmmm okay I am sorry I misunderstood you and my reaction was dumb as fuck.
What happened yesterday was that I felt like the thread needed an injection of activity because it seemed like it was pottering along wasting a day and Epi and Golden were doing their usual thing. I did a complete catchup and spewed all my reads into the thread all at once and painted a picture of the scum team etc. Because I like to approach the game by creating actual scenarios and then QA testing them with time and pestering of the people inside them. You are right that that is how I play. I don't mean to upset the people that get caught in the crossfire of it but I consistently do.
I only get mad when people tell me that it's a dumb way to play when there is demonstrable evidence that it has worked time and time again.
At any rate yes I am going to disappear for a while.

Inh, I really do enjoy playing with you. A lot.
But from my perspective we shouldn’t only be accepting of one style of play. I often feel as though a large subset of this community stands extremely against my playstyle on principle, and feels it’s antitown. Yet I get good results with it.
Truth be told what is successful for each person is different and I think everyone should try to accept this isn’t toxic but actually helps us... a town with many approaches is more likely to succeed. Get stuck in a single idea of what town play looks like and frankly, when I’m mafia I’ll manipulate the shit out of it.

I never even wanted to be a captain by the way. At one stage last night I even asked Spacedaisy to give you back the shirt and all my money but then I felt guilty about where that would leave the people on this ship. I feel like I was put in this position against my will and now am being criticised for it like I was some traitorous ship thief. I only took it to prevent a Mafia player getting hold of it basically.

I was just pissed at having my captaincy style criticised and overreacted. Today after one day of it you’ve turned into a golden clone lol (from my perspective). It does feel to me like it increases the pressure.
Here’s the truth - there is nothing you can do as captain to stop your decisions being criticised. There are no good decisions.
I would prefer you kept it, but I also don’t want to be the one who wrecked your fun. I asked for the captaincy and you didn’t.

Frankly I'm kinda discouraged. I feel like every major presence in this game has cases on people like DDL, Enrique, or INH, but none of them have been stated concisely. Everyone argues about the stupid ships instead of discussing the cases. I'm busy enough with work that I can't dive into everyone's ISOs and pick it up.
And then I'm pretty certain that one of Mac, Golden, DH, and Epi is scum. If not two.
