No one has been killed. It is now Day 3. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

Well lucky me, it looks like nobody died tonight! (Kudos to whoever the doctor is!) If I had been killed though, I don't really consider myself the most important player in the game, and I'm sure you could have pulled out a civilian win without me.Russtifinko wrote: ↑Mon Aug 20, 2018 5:44 pmInferring involves making an educated guess as to someone's intent. Deduction involves applying general principles to reach a specific conclusion by eliminating possibilities that do not adhere to those principles (essentially, a POE). So not the same.
@Lunalee , I was just starting to feel better about you, but...what?
Here you seem to be 100% discounting the possibility that you could die tonight. Admittedly, to me you don't look like you'd be a high-priority NK target, but no onw's immune. What gives you such confidence you'll be around tomorrow?Lunalee wrote: ↑Mon Aug 20, 2018 1:55 pmI still think Colin is scum, but I'll get back on the ball with reads and stuff on Day 3. I don't feel a need to do too much right now.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Mon Aug 20, 2018 1:44 pm I appreciate your responses, Lunalee. If you've had any time yet to look things over for yourself, do you have any suspicions emerging?
You seem to be saying both JJJ and Colin are bad. We don't have confirmation yet, but speculation in the thread is that there should be 3 baddies in this game based on balance. Do you disagree? If so, why, and what do you think the setup is?Lunalee wrote: ↑Mon Aug 20, 2018 3:40 pm -Jay and Colin turn the suspicion away from Alien onto Aby. I'm increasing not feeling the best about Jay, despite his super helpful analysis posts
You're weirding me out with the direction of these posts, girl. I was just starting to solidify a town read of you.
That may be so and I do think you are telling the truth.
Uh heres a good reason:MacDougall wrote: ↑Mon Aug 20, 2018 11:31 pm So like. This is history in the making here? We lynch a Mafia we're the first ever civ team to win on this site without losing a civ?
DH if you're a civ it'd be nice to see you give us a good reason to civ read you today... what with history on the line here?
Yeah see this is like the opposite of what I meant. Granted I do think you are a civ.DharmaHelper wrote: ↑Mon Aug 20, 2018 11:33 pmUh heres a good reason:MacDougall wrote: ↑Mon Aug 20, 2018 11:31 pm So like. This is history in the making here? Cuz I said I'm a civ. And there's no evidence worth half a donkey's rear end to the contrary.
I'm that guy who kinda begrudgingly started feeling compelled to attend the Team Mac Rallies, who is now standing back by the wall and sipping punch while finding themselves nodding along with enough things Mac is saying at the podium to keep coming back for more, all while the faithful are cheeringabyssum wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 10:48 pmtsaiah why aren't you Team Mac yet. hey tsaiah. why arent you team macTsaiah wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 10:46 pmIt's fine, I'll get a more definitive read on you if you don't let me be forgotten about. ;3MacDougall wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 10:31 pmI cannot shake the feeling that she is coasting by on the fact that MP town cleared her on like the second page and as a result has really just let the game float by. It is not a good argument at all, I just have my doubts.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 10:29 pmI wouldn't say I've given her a "pass", but I did think her alien interactions were mostly good. And she seems genuine. Do you have a beef?
Work eats me extra bad on the weekends (and sleeping less than i already do just isn't a viable option, if i'm gonna be functional enough there to retain gainful employment. xD) I no-choice slept enough last night that I'll probably be able to stay up a little to work on the game tonight, should be able to devote some more time to it after work tomorrow, and then I'm off for two days (yay!)
This post sparked the towniest snapfeel i've had on you all gameDharmaHelper wrote: ↑Mon Aug 20, 2018 11:43 pm I cannot believe I'm about to win Epi's manifestation of his gambling habit by way of being an utter idiot.

JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 12:18 am Alright everyone. I hope we realize what is at stake here.
This has become an even more historic achievement than I was talking about in the wake of the Robot lynch. I was referring to a lesser sort of perfection, we'll call it a "no hitter", in which the civilians never lynch wrongly (but still lose at least someone to a night kill). That has never occurred on The Syndicate in a non-burglary.
But now we have an opportunity to do something truly incredible, something that I suspect hasn't happened before on the vast majority of Mafia-dedicated websites out there.
Civilian win in a full-length game without losing a player.
That's a true perfect game. I have wondered about this before, imagined what it'd be like and how difficult it would be. I never expected to actually be in this position though, more than likely one proper lynch away from achieving the holy grail of civilian Mafia. If we make this happen, nobody will ever be able to take it away. Ever. It will be the greatest glory I have ever been a part of in this damned game we all like to play.
So let's treat this Day 3 with the proper reverence, and more importantly the proper urgency. It's LyLo.
Speaking as both Not town aligned and a low poster.
