We are all vanilla as you know full well.

You’ll be waiting a while because I’m town here and then I’m going into mostly-retirement.

Enrique wrote: Mon Aug 20, 2018 9:39 pm I would've been the last person I picked because I may actually get lynched when today should be the day we get DDL instead, so there's that. I'm not sure why you picked me and I thought we were on a sort of similar wavelength but apparently not.

DFaraday. Golden made a good post about how he may have felt "caught" after Mac guaranteed us he was bad, when he just straight up left for the rest of the day right until it was time to save himself. He's actually been in the game and apparently keeping up from the start but with big gaps between posts. I think that period when he went missing only to come back and nail Sokoth doesn't absolve him at all, Sokoth's freakout was pretty bad and I think DF had the good instinct to know that he would be lynched over it. The player pool is getting smaller and I think there's a very good chance this guy is one of the ones we're looking for.

inh had that defense of Sokoth but I think he had to have known he would be lynched, right? He also said to us on the ship that Sokoth left him money, which is... pretty awkward to navigate around, especially since he decided to tell us two days after SQ was gone. He was absent all of Day 4 until right after the poll closed, even though I saw him reading the thread several times before that. I had a pretty good read on him early in the game but I don't really know what he's up to now, he's not really scumhunting or doing anything noteworthy.

If you had chosen yourself you would've been the least likely to get lynched, but especially given that we didn't know who else would be on the poll that's not so great. You had no reason to shield us so on the one hand I'm glad you didn't but on the other, why me lol.

So I wouldn't have minded either crewmate besides us but my answer is DF.
"I'm back man, what did I miss?"

"Sokoth went and blew it, we're bussing him."

"Oh, sure thing."

-scum chat, probably.
Exactly. Despite having so few posts, the one time he's mentioned having to catch up was at the end of yesterday's lynch when he showed up just in time to save himself.
That's my secret, Cap. I'm always catching up.

Also, why would I put a vote on myself at the start of day when it could easily become a runaway, then not show up until the end to save myself?

I felt really bad when I read this and I haven't even said anything about you. Before you posted this I would have said I'm just not sure about you. But, I don't think you would use this appeal, saying you were emotionally broken, unless it's true. If you were to trot this out as scum we would collectively never forget it, never trust you again, and it would taint your reputation long into the future. I don't think you'd do that so I believe you and will not vote for you. I'm sure some will call me a sucker but such is life.

lots of linki I haven't read
You know I should probably refrain from making this kind of post in the future then, because it will turn me into Glorfindel (super easy to read). But I can't help it, I'm a drama queen sometimes.

When I say I'm "emotionally broken", it's not like I'm here crying, it's more like I'm so stressed I just feel like yelling at the next person who calls me bad and insulting them personally, as I did with Mac a few days ago. It's like I'm not in a state of mind where I feel like playing the game, I just want to set things on fire and get revenge. So it's bad for me.

Whatever, thanks for being nice. Maybe I'll feel like playing again if I don't get lynched.

Don’t get me wrong. I do think you want the town to win. I just think your posting shows no inclination that it truly matters to you.

I was in that position in bullets over broadway.
Oh hell I thought you were claiming 3p.
Oh.

Then I’m wrong about you. That was a genuine error lol.

I don’t know why you’re so blasé then.

TBH, juliets - and this is only my perspective, and you can tell it’s a frustrated one, but still...

The case on me is that I was bad last time.

That is definitely an emotional response lol but it’s one I believe to be fundamentally true. The only person who has truly examined me on the basis of this game in isolation with a view to me being bad is speed. And he wasn’t casing me.

Nutella and TH (and Colin) all seem to be comparing me to Courage. It could be genuine, but it’s also narrow, and most importantly wrong.

On that note - I’m at work for my busy morning. See you all later.

I don’t love his play but I don’t think he’s with you. I do have both worlds in my head. But I think the world where you are bad is the more likely one.

I'm not sure either. I want to win, or I wouldn't have posted over 60 times this phase alone. But I'm also trying not to get burnt out like I did back in the spring.

Yeah I keep seeing reference to this Courage game. I don't know which game that is and obviously didn't play it so that doesn't help me.

It would just be so awesome if a SINGLE PERSON in this game would back up their cases with reasoning.

I'm going to take a break. Maybe I will come back and magically there will be something to convince me to vote for Enrique or Golden - or anybody else for that matter.

Oh thanks speed I do remember that game but didn't follow it.
