I think that DharmaHelper may have slipped here. Maybe Cut Man did save Marmot from lynch. But he can only self-target! But Marmot was Magnet Man. With Cut Man and Magnet Man on a baddie team together, Marmot could Magnetize Cut Man's ability.

Magnet Man

Gemini Man didn't save Marmot in the sense that DH was saying it. Gemini Man tied the lynch up, ostensibly, and gave Marmot a 50%(?) chance of survival. That's not the implication I get from "When you say Jack was one of the main drivers behind a marmot lynch do you mean the one that Cut Man saved Marmot from?" - THAT feels more like an accusation that Jack didn't need to fear Marmot's lynch because he knew half-votes.

Did DharmaHelper slip? If everyone tells me I'm crazy, that's fine, I'll be relieved, I don't even want to vote for DH.

I haven't been paying much attention to roles at all this game. But the mention of cut man is interesting in itself. If I understood this setup correctly (and please don't crusify me if I haven't), then Wily is choosing what robots he wants to corrupt, right? Some roles have a description, some doesn't. So the safer bet is to choose some roles with a description if they are any good. And cut man would certainly be a very pro scum role and likely to be on the scum team. Ok, so I see that the setup doesn't say that Wily chooses or if it's just random. Anyway, I think cut man on a scum team makes sense. It could also be the case that Marmot and cut man used powers in combination on D5, and that was why Dharma had some investment in questioning the lynch. However, things didn't go as planned as Marmot had an overwhelming majority anyway. That's just a theory though. Also, I did read where Dharma said he got the name from Sprit bringing it up earlier. It's still a bit strange to me as Gemini man was on the poll and has been discussed way more.

I wonder how Epi plays his magnets. In my games, the magnet chooses a player, and that player must target the magnet (whether that player submitted an action or not). It reads in a way that I could see that. If it's the opposite (Magnet Man only gets the power if it's being used), then Cut Man would have had to use his power the same time that Magnet Man targeted him.

It seems a little to convoluted to try to save Magnet Man from a lynch, especially when factoring in that Gemini Man was also used to try to save Marmot at the same time. There is also the simple thought that Magnet Man got lucky, targeted Cut Man the night before, and gained the benefit of the power.
