Mongoose, I would be willing to support your vote, except that I have a vote and may need to save my own Spandex.
That's great! Chorus time!

I'm not voting you tonight, so I won't be tying you up with Dex. I am going on and off a Dex vote though, because I fear that would star an irrevocable pileup.

Sebastian/Bass: You can find whichever smilies you like and put them in the Smiley thread in The Speakeasy. When time permits, a lovely moderator will add them to the arsenal.
I appreciate that, although I think Captain Bunny Killer will.

Well, it looks like we're all standing around waitin for somebody to take the plunge. I obviously am considering a vote for SVS. As far as AP, I need to go back and look at the posts again.

llinki: No, Epi, I mentioned that I'm reconsidering some things. As of now, I don't plan to vote for you.

CBK is a killer  I am OK with my vote.

Indies always say they are civ friendly, but an Indy with access to a kill is NOT a civvie. An Indy without a kill isn't either, but the kill makes them dangerous. And bargaining with killers is generally bad business (although I won't say "always", the civs struck up a bargain with SK Turnip Head in a game once, and that worked out, but i am fairly sure it is the only time i am aware of that it did so).

We have a smiley suggestion thread, Bass, but you can put it here and we will get it there

I am probably going to wind down the clock on this one. I can't take a chance on a sloppy vote, especially if you can appreciate the situation I'm in. It's the worst timing ever to phone in a vote so I won't be doing that and I'm not going to throw it away either like I did in the 2000 election.

I'm going to watch Parks & Rec and see if the answer comes to me through a message from Lil Sebastian.

Hulk Hogan is a killer. Trish Stratus is a killer.

Eddie is a killer...with no purpose except to SURVIVE.

If I were Eddie and found HHH, would I keep HHH around to keep using his power....to kill people? Hell no! I would get him out ASAP so I could fulfill my win condition: Survive.

If you are civilian, and you think CBK is Eddie, then that's your best move? Vote early for a guy you don't need dead to win?

Because assuming the role you suspect would NOT make me a killer. It seems like you are out for vengence for lou. I can understand being upset over what you believed was a civ death, but to hunt someone down, vote early and pound away at your case the way you have? Either you're covering for your jumpy vote or using me as a distraction. Your suspicion just doesn't seem worth this vehemence.

Now, here we go again. Seriously, unless you have some other aspect of this to discuss, I'm not going to keep responding to this. It's probably just feeding into someone's agenda, even if it's not yours.

I thought she was who i think she is before Lous death, and would not have bothered her or even pointed it out, but that kill whipped my head around :)

I had Lou down for a very specific civ role, and Guerro killed her. NOT a civvie move. i don't know how the baddies feel about you, but the civvies don't need another civvie-killer around.

And don't bug anyone about smiles bass, lol, or I will have a panic attack and start to actually feel sick every time someone raqgs MP about smilies, true story lolol

Linki @ Epi~ that is what YOU would do, it is NOT what i would do, and it may not be what SHE would do. She killed a civ, she did not have to use the kill she found, she could have left it. THAT is what I would have done, and come out swinging at HHH.

Wait, don't you just tell Epi not to judge based on how he would do it, and then you turn around and base your judgment of me on how you would do it? Makes sense.

Maybe you've never thought that whoever did it did not think lou was a civ. Obviously, not everyone sees things the way you did. Eddie clearly didn't read your mafia notes.

linki: exactly.
Being dismissive of legitimate concerns, and refusing to discuss them with people when you are accused, are an unusual mafia playing style. Trying to make the person accusing you look vengeful, silly and kinda crazy is rather an old trick~ I've seen it, i've done it. I may be silly at times, but vengeful & crazy I am not.

linki clearly did not read the thread either then, since Lou made some very clear references after (and before) Daisy died. i am sure i was not the only person to notice them.

So if you were Eddie, you wouldn't have used the kill you stole? Really? You wouldn't at least kill the player that voted for you?

And why are we to believe your view on Lou is Gospel? I certainly don't. You keep saying Eddie killed a civ. That's not proven.

Addendum: "Clear references?" I've read this thread several times. I don't see what you're saying. Can you provide links?

J.R.: Welcome to Survivor Series, folks! It looks like we're getting started with the Last Man Standing Match!!

King: I hope Edge wins, J.R., he tells it like it is!

Indeed he does, but this night he would be doing more murdering than telling. The match was Edge vs. Daisy, where the winner had to keep their opponent down for a 10-count. Daisy took every risk, keeping Edge off-balance and almost winning repeatedly. Edge rolled out of the ring and returned with a large medieval axe.

J.R.: What?!?! He can't do that!!!

King: Hey, it's No Disqualification, J.R.! Anything goes!

Edge swung at Daisy, but she ducked and kicked the axe away. But it was all a ruse. Suddenly Daisy began to stumble, and she collapsed to the mat. Edge casually read a newspaper as the referee counted to 10. Edge as the winner. As for Daisy, the slow-acting poison Edge had slipped her earlier that day left her dead before the EMTs could get to the ring.

**********************************************

Back in the GM's office, Eric Bischoff was incensed.

"It's been over a year, and we STILL haven't found the killer!?!??" he demanded of his assistant, Coach.

"Well boss, I don't have the answers, but here's somebody who might," Coach said, letting Captain Bunny Killer into the room.

"Okay, here's what I have in mind," CBK began, when from out of nowhere Hulk Hogan burst in wielding a trident. He hurled it at CBK, and she was pinned to the wall; however, the tines were just conveniently on either side of her neck (it was a really big trident). Coach and some trainers dragged Hulk away before he could finish the job.

*********************************************

Triple H knew that his reign was not safe. Too many people wanted to be on top. But there could be only one, Highlander-style. With that in mind, Trips found his next target, K4J, eating alone in the arena basement. Without bothering with pleasantries, Triple H raised the sledgehammer high. K4J threw his bowl of soup in HHH's face, causing him to drop the hammer. K4J ran up the stairs as fast as he could, only to find that Triple H had taken the elevator. He pushed K4J backwards down the stairs, breaking his neck in 46 places.

*********************************************

"Hi, Michael Cole, reporting from the backstage area with the only Olympic Gold Medalist in WWE history, Kurt Angle! Now Kurt, what are your thoughts on the recent killing spree here in WWE?"

"Well, Michael, as an Olympic hero I stand for the three I's: Intensity, Integrity, and Intelligence. Whoever this is is a serial killer, and as an American hero, I'm against that. But fear not, Michael, I think I know just who it is! Oh, it's true!"

With that, Kurt ran down to Vompatti's dressing room. He found Vomp sitting at his dressing table silently, snuck up behind him, then attempted to strangle Vomp with the gold medal. Vomp somehow managed to outwrestle the wrestling gold medalist, and fled before Angle could get to his feet.

*********************************************

Daisy has been killed by the Arrogant Heels.
K4J has been killed by Triple H.
Vomp is not dead.
CBK is not dead.
BWT has been silenced. He may not talk, vote, or be voted for today.
Well crap! I was sure Daisy was a civvie and I was fairly confident that K4J was too. Vomp not being dead, Idk what to make of that. CBK not being dead, seems suspicious to me but BWT being silenced? I don't trust that at all. I played a game on Ksite where someone was a baddie and they silenced themselves in order to make us believe she was a townie so...Idk what to think anymore.
This post made me feel like I knew who her and dasiy's roles were

And LOL, I was just telling him what I would have done, CK, not what you should have done~ but that is my whole point, we all do things differently. Even if the "obvious" thing to do seems apparent to one person, it may not seem that way to another.

Linki~ no, I am on phone tonight, but I got the impression that the two of them were on very good civvie terms, Lou repeated and affirmed much of what Daisy said, and even referenced Daisy repeatedly both before and after she died. She said she believed things becasue Daisy did.

And no, I would not kill someone if i had a found kill~ unless i was 100%~ . I would try VERY hard to lynch HHH. I don't see CBK trying real hard to lynch anyone. Had she done that, I would have had her back 100%. My guess is she would rather hang onto that kill. I could be wrong, but i don't like bargaining with killers.

Linki~ yeah i suspect you, i must be bad

S~V~S:

This is what I don't get.

You think CBK is Eddie.

If you are civilian, you don't need Eddie dead to win.

Eddie can steal HHH's power- somebody who is GOING TO KILL ANYWAY.

Why vote for CBK? Because Lou was civ?

Why not vote for someone who is Corporation or Heel? They kill civs, right?

Stop putting words in my mouth. It's not because you suspect me. It's how you've gone about this whole thing while keeping in mind what you suspect me of, and you're basing the whole thing off of who you THINK one person was. It's just too convenient and too urgent to you to get me killed. It doesn't make sense, when we haven't really discussed anything else of substance to lead to an actual baddie.

linki: exactly again.

llinki: No, Epi, I mentioned that I'm reconsidering some things. As of now, I don't plan to vote for you.
Assuming S~V~S is right, I'm sort of interested in keeping you alive, actually.
Why would you keep her around?
Because Eddie might know who HHH is kill that person.
Well, now would have been the time to start trying to lynch someone~ she knows, in your opinion, who HHH is. You would think she would want to lynch him. But again, that's me.

Linki~ becasue I think she could kill again, she already did once, and she did not try to build a case on anyone, she knows who HHH is if you are correct. I don't trust her is the brass tacks. If someone shows me a Corp or a Heel and they feel as strongly about it, and make me feel as strongly about it as I feel about this, then i am there. But I "feel' this, i don't think she can be trusted.

Ok, stopping for real this time. If I don't respond, it's because I suspect someone is very happy that the thread is filled with this discussion (because we all know the late voters just get on and vote the person who's the current target). If you have a specific question, I'll be watching. Otherwise, I am not going to keep feeding the frenzy.

Does this end at 1203am EST or 103am EST? I want to make sure I don't miss the vote due to DST shenanigans.

I also don't like the whole "throw as much as you can at a wall and hope something sticks" strategy. Giving the game time to develop its own rhythm better allows one to see when people deviate from it, I think. It seems just as easy to hide behind a wall of accusations as it does a wall of silence.
This is very insightful and, despite the fact that I can be quite a verbose player, I actually find myself agreeing with it.

Totally agreed with others that I love to see this type of posting from you, Matt! :)
I don't mean any disrespect to Matt- but he is the most nervous player I've ever seen. This doesn't read like anything I've ever seen A Person post. Ever. Too confident.

I would like to hear a bit more from him, but he hasn't set off any alarm bells from me at all, and he did survive that D1 lynch, which could mean anything (but more possibilities suggest a civvie explanation).
I could buy that this was MP doing his song and dance except for that last line, which is superfluous in context.
That is a possibility epi - Matty was on my ? list earlier today but I didn't get to him before I had to nap again. I'm definitely willing to look there next time around. I think the fact that so many people aren't sure about him should give us a reason to look a little closer.

This lynch I have to say, I'm seeing svs's side of things. I've been an indi more than once. Sometimes I helped the town, sometimes I didn't. My most favorite time in mafia I helped the town the whole game till the last lynch when I switched sides and helped the baddies win. I could do that because I was an indi.

linki - wait - epi? what did I miss? I thought it was clear that eddie took hhh's kill? Crap - now I have to reread the night post again. bb in a minute.

I mean she knows who she targeted, right? It is your theory it was HHH since he did not kill. So on an odd night, she sent in a name, and presumably was told she got a kill for the next night. Had she walked into the thread screaming for blood, i would have listened to her. Last time she was on the block, i did not vote for her becasue i did not find her a threat at that time. That changed when she killed someone.
Eddie Guerrero – Eddie lies, cheats, and steals, but at least he’s honest about it! Every odd night Eddie may target a player and steal their ability for the next night. He will also cheat death once. Finally, if role checked, Eddie will lie and come back as a random civvie. However, Eddie only needs to survive to win.
Linki~ no Trish is an actual civ, and killed someone who was widely suspected for the benefit of all civs. CBK is not and I believe she used the stolen kill on someone becasue they suspected her, but in any case, she used it to benefit herself, and not everyone. Trish needs all non civs dead to win. Guerro needs himself alive to win. Not comparable.

I stand corrected - according to the way the night post is written, it looks like eddie stole his powers from hogan. which would explain why anyone we thought might be eddie might not come out guns a blazin' for the person they stole the powers from.

This makes NO SENSE.

You're assuming Eddie SHOULD BE on the civilians' side. Eddie is not. Eddie just needs to get through. With or without civilians. That doesn't make Eddie bad or good, despite your paintbrush. Eddie killing doesn't make Eddie bad to have around. Sorry. It does.

You could have waited to talk with true civilians and decided on the best course. Instead, you voted on CBK, thinking that was already a done deal.

Well, it wasn't.

OK, Epi was saying HHH, since HHH did not kill. But Hogans power did not go through either.

@Faraday~ if a persons power is stolen, do they still get to use it?

If that is the case~ i can see her not trying to lynch that person. She never did say that herself, though. But stealing a kill from the ninja is not a civ thing either.

Linki~ what are you talking about? I don't expect indies to act like civvies. I expect them to watch out for their own interests. (this conversation is going to explode Devins hed tomorrow, lolol).

I am sorry we disagree, perhaps bad and good are not words I should be using; perhaps "trustworthy" and "Not trustworthy" are. I don;t trust her, whether she stole that kill from Hulk or HHH. She is a danger to the civvies IMO. She may have perfectly reasonable reasons for so doing, but that does not mean we can trust her.
