If anyone's wondering why Colin made the top of that list:
This after asking the thread to hold his hand through a DDL case makes me think he just wanted a reason to vote for DDL, the popular option. "Laying low more"? Yeah bro he said he'd be gone all day. Tonally you feel better about him than Luna? That means nothing to me. Might as well be French.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 10:12 pm Ok, I went back myself and did quick ISOing. I ended up voting for speedchuck. I avoided the question on purpose. I wanted to see who would ask me specifically thinking whoever did, may be keeping a spreadsheet. Are you keeping a spreadsheet?sprityo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 8:08 am @Elohcin would you kindly tell me who you voted for the flamethrower yesterday and today since you avoided that talk all together?
As an aside it looks like a decent amount of people gave Speedchuck their vote yesterday but I can’t recall if people said the same about me. I think I’m the end DH gave me vote #4 or something like that? We should probably make a chart for reference

Maybe its because I don't, but I'm not gelling with this line of thought. IDK. I'll have to see more from DDL to make a call on it but Luna's interactions with Eloh and etc makes me feel not so great about her.Turnip Head wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 10:35 am That makes sense to me tho DH. Re: Outpost 31- NIGHT 1
This may have already been covered. My reasoning for finding skers is like “do they care who gets lynched?” or “are they trying to thread the needle between town and scum play to neither get nked nor lynched.” I don’t think the second applies and the first is pretty easy to fake.
General thoughts on this? If it’s alfrady been discussed, I’ll find it myself.

Re: Outpost 31- NIGHT 1
Im pretty okay with Speed or Quin having a flamethrower on a general level.
Pretty well disagree with Mac being burned if it was for not voting but that’s the problem with policy lynches. They seem like a good idea until they lock you into a bad decision.

I didn't like history when I first started learning it but my teachers made me change my mind fast. I think it was my strongest subject at school (except maybe English) and I'm an exact sciences guy.
I don't know how you are picking your curriculum but here is a tip that may or may not be applicable: focus on the politics involved in the events rather than on boring stuff like dates and names. Like, why the politicians did X and Y, who were the powers influencing each event, who wanted what in each period of the story. This makes the whole thing much more entertaining, because history is all about different powers colliding and backstabbing each other.

Re: Outpost 31- DAY 1
You're awesome

We use an awesome curriculum called Story of the World. I, personally love it. I hated History in school because of the very reasons you say to avoid. The curriculum we use is a classical approach to History which emphasizes the incidents rather than names and date. The only thing I could do to make it better is hire people to act it out rather than me read it to them. They did have fun with the Boston Tea Party, but that's only because they were familiar with the story from a Team Titans Go episode.Dragon D. It was probably a tie between me and Sprit.
It's my turn!
I promise not to flamethrower Mac, like my former opponent did. I wouls have torched DDL, like everyone wanted to. Especially with it being day 1, to give people like Mac more than 48 hours to notice the game.

Re: Outpost 31- NIGHT 1
I feel like I need to explain my day 1 actions.
I didn't have any decent suspects yesterday morning, and I don't really enjoy ISOing people and forcing myself to form suspects because that tends to cause confirmation bias. So I just voted to avoid sprityo's flaming death. Then I went to my roleplaying table.
I admit my activity yesterday was turd and people call me an hypocrite regularly for judging people even though I'm not doing much but I don't let that keep me from saying what's on my mind.

Re: Outpost 31- NIGHT 1
@DDL, you word this like i didnt give everyone the equal opportunity to not die. when in fact that's not the case.
Youre presenting this like anything i DID do was useless.
Pray tell, would it have been better to follow through with my clear cut, easy to follow plan, then by chance lynch a townie? Or at the last hours of the day go "yknow, i change my mind, ill kill with the votes" or "ill kill whoever i want" and possibly lynch a townie?
youre taking a leap of logic i find insulting to my thought process, what i did was the best way to get the game rolling, and even then, we still had minimal participation. Nothing motivates more than fear

im gonna blow smoke in all your faces when i die. i wholly expect a visit from the aliens. Because whoever it is would probably rather have me out of the picture, or they think i could be bad and think of it as a win/win. die or confirm
