Sure, I'd love for him to answer you though. What i've been noticing is that you've got some players who won't give statements that can be lie detected. So we had Juls who wouldn't say if she was good or not and just said I should be able to tell then she flipped mafia. Compared to say Sab who did say she was good. Which is the main reason why I decided to trust her.

Now in theory mafia could have a foil to that role, but I think mafia would just be more careful.

Alllllso it's day 5 and Mac is still alive, can we lynch him soonish?

4. Why was sig pushing to lynch sabie when i specifically hinted i was gonna use the item i got? it shouldve been obvious i caused my own death (if not prevented it)

sabie12: Okay so I was wrong, but her reasoning for tunneling on me is faulty. First she claimed I was making up info which was false and she believed that I hadn't voted twice which was also wrong. She's just been tunneling on me since I accused her.

Both of these two could also be mafia, re the mechanics so it makes sense for them to jump on my wagon since if it isn't me it's one of them which it is.
Dana/LoRab: Been pretty inactive and just kept popping and voting for me, these are more of lazy civ votes.

If you get lynched as a civ after refusing to claim in a game where claiming is allowed, it's 100% your fault.

What is the purpose of hinting but not claiming?

1) Breadcrumbing for later cred

2) Role playing

3) As scum so town doesn’t call you out for claiming someone’s else’s role

4) To evaluate if town deserves to avoid a mislynch or not based on hint catching abilities

I've got a Christmas Party to attend so imma be out for a bit, but I was reading over DDL he has to go. Ik for a fact i'm not mafia he was within the area that Jack saw, plus ik I was targeted to be killed and he was within the same area based off what we know. DDL is mafia, read over his posts and it becomes clear.

When I mean is that quite often, I have defended civilians when I am bad. There's a lot of reasons to do that. I also defend people when I'm good too, but for obviously different reasons.

My issue here is that there are two mafia teams, meaning both teams have a party they can go after in earnest. At this juncture, with sig being the blood everyone has been thirsting for because ACTUAL INFO, do you believe that sig's teammates would speak up for him?

If sig is bad, his team has given up on him. That's my assessment.

There is nothing wrong with hinting during the game. But this is a EoD situation we are talking about. If you are given a way out through claiming and still refuse to do it because you want to spite the civilian faction, then I can't blame anyone but you. You had a choice to win the game and you opted out of it due to spite. Sig seems like he just wants to spite the civilian faction, according to his last reply to me.

That said, maybe his role doesn't really save him even when claimed. If this game is truly balanced, then roles themselves don't indicate much and claiming won't actually save most people from a lynch. After seeing juliets's role, I think that's the case. But Sig seemed to imply that his hinting meant something. If he thinks it does, he should put it on the table at once.

Hinting is very valuable without ever claiming. Mafia frequently searches for claims in my experiences then they target either by night kill or lynch said person. Plus TS is usually a no claiming zone so little hints are all I usually give. Could I role claim right now? Yes, would it stop my lynch maybe, but would I wind up being useless probably. Plus claiming is boring and I often won't claim even when it's allowed.
