'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the Realm
A lynch was beginning, Long Con at the helm

Sakana Sashimi carolled with his gills
The Frost Knight made snowflakes, while feeling no chills
The Kraken wrapped presents, eight tentacles taping
The Pixie hung garland, with thoughts of escaping

Chevuschade Voidwing helped light up the sky
While Thaddeus Mechaspark made toys on the fly
D'Abrutsi worked double, and pulled an all-nighter
The Seer lit a candle, rememb'ring Lamplighter

When all of a sudden, there arose such a clatter
And Civvies and baddies alike went to scatter
He burst through the clouds, hooves pounding the air
Santa Claus in his sleigh, drawn by reindeer in pair

He leapt out as he landed, boots cracking the ice
And he brought out a list, which he checked over twice
Cleared his throat, "Now, don't see me as overly haughty,
But it seems DDL is especially naughty!"

"I'd normally leave him a handful of coal,
But the crimes he's committed - he forfeits his soul!
Pour me a hot chocolate, cinnamon, just a pinch,
And let's go about finalizing this lynch!"

DDL squirmed and sweat, his mortality waning
The votes piled up, and no one was complaining!
"Time to leave!" he decided, and he opened a door
From the square he was in, to some place from before

Toxic Frog ribbited, "He's gone through a Portal!"
But the kindly old elf, with a wink and a chortle
Said "The magic of Christmas will prevail yet
I hope DDL doesn't mind getting wet!"

A magical sparkle, and a twitch of his nose,
And the portal's egress became one that he chose
Coming out on A10, with no ground to land on
He sputtered and drowned, and then he was gone.

Santa laughed, and a sparkle did dance in his eye
as he said, "Now it's time for ol' Santa to fly
I hope that you Civvies can just get things right
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"

@ Dana, You had said you only played one bad game. I recall when you first started, you and another young lady started at about the same time. One was on my bad team, and she did not even show up, she just gave up day one. Said she hated being bad and refused to play. Was that you, or was that someone else? I don't recall the game, or I would look it up. I have been BOTD with you partially because of that, but I have been thinking about it, and I am thinking it wasn't you.

No, the only time I was bad was with llama, and I think it was a very short game. I didn't really like being bad but I wouldn't refuse to play due to it, I am just not very good at it. I started with a friend named made but I don't think he was bad in our first game either. I don't remember anyone else starting around the same time as me, but it's definitely possible, there's much more to this site than just what I've seen.

I did not think it was you, that person came from another site, but I was not 100% sure. I remember you being a lower key player in general, but I was thinking if you were that person there was no way you were bad. But since you were not, you have gone back to null for me.

So when G Man flipped as the other, I thought he could be Hollow Man, but this makes sense too, for what I thought.

I am in the middle of reassessing my reads. Early on, I laid some very very clear LD statements down in the thread, primarily to give clarity to a friend, but also because I pretty much always do that in a game with a LD because I tend to draw suspicion. Mac had been pushing suspicion at me, and then he stopped during the time I was doing this, and made a remark along the lines of he was just teasing because he was amused by the way I react to suspicion. I thought he could be the LD due to that. And I pretty much stopped making overt LD statements at that point.

With sig flipping that way, I need to reassess. I still feel somewhat good about Mac and his reads, but I am not feeling the people HE trusts. I also did not love his post about making me some kind of civ leader, it felt quite a bit like buddying. I feel better about you than about INH still (I don't necessarily agree with the "if one of you is good both are good" line of thinking). I still think you sounded much more sincere than he did.

At this point I can't say that I trust anyone at all. I am feeling the paranoia, to be sure. As I said, I have to do some reassessment.

Just played through the first 2 chapters +Prologue of "Betrayal: Legacy" super fun. No spoilers but I did end up winning two out of three, and there were several moments where the game actually managed to shock/surprise me. Woof. So fun. Yikes. Can't wait to sit down and play more.
