DH, one thing that puzzles me is why you didn't make up a role and power to avoid getting lynched.

The first thing I would do in this scenario if I were bad is make sure my team had claims and backup claims. It isn't like claiming cop or doctor: You have 365 day's worth of games to choose from, with multiple roles in those, and some of the roles I included weren't even in those games (like Robin or Gleeok). You can make up any damn thing you want: It's timmer's Liar's Club game.

Hell, you could have claimed "Cuphead and Mugman" and said you could boost your target's vote by one or some such thing. You could have said you were "Dr. Wily" but actually a doctor. The possibilities were endless.

1. Roleclaiming is for suckers
2. My lynch was a meme roleclaiming wouldn't have stopped anyone.

I erroneously thought that, because he had revealed that he received The Ring, that I could get a sweet 35 points for his head. Turned out that didn't matter, BUT Ramses was wearing rings in his pic anyway! NICE! Hence the fortuitous Night 2 kill of Quin by me.

Kill someone who is wielding a weapon? That's 30 points! I chose JJJ as my next target because he a) was posting like a soldier (weapon), and he had the Greek curse, and some of the Ancient Greece roles have weapons.

I left an Easter Egg in a post in case I had to prove I was the Assassin for some reason.

THAT was clever thinking, and it had not occurred to me that you would start taking items into consideration. Luckily the Ramses picture had rings it in it (the original one I had looked blurry, but something was clearly on his hand, so I got a higher resolution, and Bingo).

Today was much better than Tuesday. After testing, we took the students out to the field for a game of Kickball. Not one kid on a cell phone and they took turns and (talked shit too, but that's okay) and had a good time. My team played zero defense, so we lost mightily, and I jammed my little finger in the bargain. I didn't think it was a big deal until I started typing tonight.

I thought you might see that and know it was a shoutout to you. I figured you had both found a way to substantiate that the other was civ so I believed you to be almost the whole game.

I can't speak for Nutella. but it was fortuitous for the civs I think that she and I got BTS. I always suspect her, and tbh, there were points this game where I was worried she was bad, and I would not be surprised if she felt the same. Long stretches of time where our chat went quiet, lol. That remark I made that Sprit got a snip of, that was kind of me looking at her like, "OK, are you bad?" and at one point she made an observation and said to me, "I hope you can see that" and I think that was sort of the same. I trusted her, but I had moments of paranoia.

I think we trusted but also tiptoed around each other a bit. I enjoyed having BTS with her becasue it helped me understand some of the changes in the TS culture while I took my break. Plus having someone with such an excellent musical ear made excelling as DJ easier since I was trying to impress HER.

Ha! That's great! I was doing it for me mostly, thinking I could squeeze some value out of killing folks with items. Let me return the thanks by saying that your analysis of the curses was incredibly invaluable to me, because it connected curses to roles, and gave me a roadmap of how to choose my victims. What a great team we were, Jules!

@Quin you just had to ham it up with "My preciousss....." didn't you? That's why I confirmed right away in the thread that you were Ring-hinting, and that's why I voted to keep you alive on Day 1. Without that hint, you might have been the Day 1 lynch, and the game would have been different altogether.

Speaking of the curses, I was starting to sweat a little when the connection of curses to roles was being made. I had posted all weapons... didn't anyone think that was a bit alarming?? Bob's post was the scariest to me. I was thinking I would have to defend against "your role is very weapony and dangerous" accusations, but he was just saying I should have tried harder.

unless you have an extremely pressing reason for why eko needs to die tonight specifically, I'm not doing that. if the mafia kills tonight then we'll know for certain whether or not eko is mafia without using any resources. if they don't kill at all then I'll kill eko the next night and then we can focus on taking out the assassin or w/e, but killing eko right now just because I can is redundant, and not an effective use of town resources.

If so why wait, not to mention we've got no idea if there's only one mafia member left or whether the kill would be randomized if not put in or even if the kill will be blocked. Nope I never distrusted you one bit lol. I understand why you might be wary of me since I only had the btsc and no other ability to claim, but you really only ever made sense as town. And yeah we totally disagreed about DH and Luna for a while but it worked out in the end Also your picks were excellent!
