She’s just kinda around making little snippets. Sometimes agreeing, sometimes flagging stuff, sometimes joking. It’s mostly what I expect from her at this stage of the game regardless of her alignment.

I thought post 234 (Have we played together, Leet?) sounded awkward at first and someone agreed with me but looking back, I think it’s nai.

I tend to judge Nutella by the total effort level and tone after multiple days. She tends to coast as scum midgame. We’re not to midgame yet.

At the beginning of this day phase, I posted reads based on what had happened N0. Now, with D1 almost halfway over, I am going to take another look at the four people I had labeled as scum leans, and look at what they've been up to in this thread to see if my reads have changed. These people are bob, Jack, nova, and nutella. Since my reads post went in alphabetical order, let's take on bob first.

Reason for my original suspicions:

colonialbob - Slight scumlean. Seems to be following along with what other people are saying, then there is him looking a bit much into a minor mistake by JJJ. Still, nothing too major.

For example, he seemed to follow speedchuck's push on nutella:

Yes but why? Possibilities:

- It's an honest slip and means nothing.
- You're concerned about how Rey is viewed and not Nova, because you are teammates with Rey.
- You're concerned with how Rey is viewed because you're trying to set up some interaction with him. This reads maf to me.

Now obviously option 1 is a real possibility, but I can't come up with any town reasons you would have made the slip, whole I can come up with several maf ones (to go along side the NAI honest slip). So, sus.

However, he was largely inactive during that time, and neither of these posts were that scummy, so yeah a slight lean rather than a real read.

Sabie's response to "your intro is bad" was "nova and jjj are teammates" which seems ballsy for scum sabie.

Was probably the lowest of my scum leans, as the joke posting tends to be null - still, I could see a strategy where scum posts a lot of irrelevant stuff to confuse the town. Whether he continued the behavior into the next phase was going to refine my read on him, so now it's time to do just that.

What he has done since my suspicions:
More than bob at least. For example, unlike bob he responded to my suspicions:

Welcome to my town and scum meta for early game. One upon a time, a guy named Rokk Krinn told me that my meta was to act like I was messing around and then suddenly the trap swings shut and I lynch the mafia or setup a key mislynch. You never see it coming.

Now, I think that was a bit generous of him but it's true that I tend to joke around early and turn serious later, when I have a better feel for things.

Anyway.

It's like 5 posts into D1. I'm me. I don't have 2 townreads and 2 scumreads yet.

I do like how he states that this is his town and scum meta - if he said it was just his town meta, I'd find that suspicious, but at least he admits it is NAI.

He's not had much civvie behavior, but also not much scummie behavior. He looks pretty close to how he always looks D1. Yet he's getting a lot of heat. Easy target?

I put Jack with speed in the "early games look pretty similar whether maf or civ" bucket. I think his self-analysis was pretty accurate here.

I mean you're right I haven't said much but I don't usually say much day 1. IRL things have been falling apart so I guess this game I've been trying to pretend like it's not bothering me. Elohcin - Mostly null, a bit of a town lean. He seems to be posting his thoughts a little and avoid minor drama. Still, hasn't done too much.

Thanks for the reads, leetic. Can you expand a little on what you observed from Elohcin that led you to the conclusion I highlighted? Also, she's a she (just FYI ).

She posted a little about you and nutella, and seems to have disregarded the drama of you saying someone else's name. Not much, which is why I mostly consider her null, but more than a couple others have done.

For clarity's sake, I didn't disregard anything. I even asked rey why Jay would do such a thing. I try not to get on nutella too early. It is something I have fault with doing. I always think her Day 0/Day1, and heck maybe Day 2 posts scream baddie so I try to give her the benefit of the doubt. So I am refraining from expanding on every one of her posts. I'm just trying to soak everything in for now. It's what I do. I'll come out later...ask the others. As for now, I have 6 pages to read after working all day :P. I'll share my thoughts as I go. I'm at the top of pg 5.
