I like Blue Ridge for the game room. I think that will be great to have. [mention]Epignosis[/mention] Post a poll with the Blue Ridge Cabin link (if you can) and ask what week in July people want to go. Let's give all info in the poll as well: price including food, 8 adults can sign up, all money to be delivered to Luna for reservation, etc. Also mention that those who aren't definite about going can opt to get a hotel room in the area at a later date and that Blue Ridge will be the meeting place for hanging. How much do you think food will be for 8 adults for the weekend (Thursday-Sunday)?

I think it would further be a good idea to have those who are set on coming (once things move to a more finalized state) let me know what their dietary restrictions are. What can't they eat, what won't they eat, what they'd just as soon starve to death than look at, that sort of thing. It would be helpful for meal planning purposes.

i can't be 100% until i actually book my flight tickets, but let's say i'm 60% if it's end of July. i'll talk to my boss on friday. i promised myself a workout session with abigail. like, it's one of my goals. also i heard epi was cooking. all these things tempt me.

oiiiii tickets to NC are pricey as sin. o.o

new york is my best bet. i can get nonstop return ticket for $300 with airfrance. i have to work out how i can go from NY to NC cos paying $1800 for a flight is a waste of money imo.

fair warning: i don't do board games except monopoly. adult boardgames, i suck at them. i'll play with the kids while the adults play their adult games. don't even try to persuade me to play anything that isn't a card game.

like with a normal deck of playing cards.

Hope you can! You can be a stand-by in case someone has to drop out last-minute, or if it works out, you could plan to book a hotel room near the lodge so you'll have a place to stay, and can hang out with everyone during the day.

Hey [mention]Boomslang[/mention], it looks like people wanna meet up near us! Get in on this. (I'll also tell him when he gets home.)

All of these places (minus Tennessee) are within 30-40 minutes of us. We're totally down. Not sure if we'll stay at the actual house, though, since we can "commute," but perhaps we would? I'll also check the calendar to give actual dates we'd be available, but I don't think we're going anywhere crazy in July since we're getting our homestead set up. Whee!

Either way, this sounds badass and I'm all about another meetup

i've had some personal problems so i haven't been able to get the ok for late july yet, but i'm working on it.

i thought this was last week in july, but i guess i'm mistaken. are you guys working with 2nd or 3rd week in july? makes a difference to me.

i did, 4th week

but i see that isn't popular so i'll see which of the 2nd or 3rd (prolly 3rd) weeks will be acceptable. i'll only have about 10 days in total and it takes a day to get to america and a day to return lol
