What do you mean by theme? I think that since abilities and alignments aren't tied to what the flavor character represents, the theme isn't really relevant.

Community begs to have some kind of shenanigan role. It could be any character. More importantly though, 12 players leaves few avenues that don't involve an indy. 9 vs. 3 isn't super balanced in a vacuum.
