General theory of multi-mafia team hunting:

Fundamentally, a fully uninformed mafia team is easier to find than a partially or entirely uninformed mafia team. In that regard, our work is indeed more difficult beyond just having more of them to find.

However, there are still key differences of import. Even in a multi-team game, the mafia have obvious daily objectives and priorities which differ from the civilians.

Individual civilian priorities:

Lynch mafioso > don't get lynched

Individual mafioso priorities:

Don't have self or teammate lynched (lynch anyone else) > specifically lynch civilian or alternate team

This provides a platform by which they can be hunted. It is harder than it'd be with one team, but we have to work with what we have.
