Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 5]
Ah! I missed the vote. I literally came in the thread the minute the poll was closed. I am having a hard time keeping up with two games and as my work schedule is crazy busy this week :/
Banners are cool, but a pain to scroll through so...
I've won a lot of games. I've hosted some games. The end.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 5]
I for one, got a PM telling me I had to vote BWT in the lynch. Other people were also acting odd about the lynch, which made me think that PB used his power. I was stating that in a humorous "pun" or joke.Flyin' High wrote:I am going to vote INH. I know my vote won't matter today since rey has so many already, but I think there is something off and in reading back through his posts, these stood out to me.
insertnamehere wrote: I can see Pixellated Bukakke all over her. And on me, as a matter of fact. These make me wonder if he's actually taunting us and is, indeed, the PB.insertnamehere wrote:We all really need to clean this Pixellated Bukkake off of us.
Really, I already have 3 votes because I made a joke? This is Cards Against Humanity mafia, lighten up.

I considered INH early in the game, but his.recent posts have a better feeling for me.
Given the time he posted in relation to BWT's lynch, I don't see him being Pixie-Bukkake, unless he went for a really bals-out gambit there.

The rules say this:
That was it.boo wrote:You must vote BWT.
The rules say this:
I don't see anything in the rules or in the PM saying I cannot state this.1. No BTSC unless specified by the host.
2. No outting (self or others).
3. No sharing which white cards you have (with anyone, even in BTSC).
4. No double-targeting.
5. Don't be an asshat.
6. Only living players may post on topic. Use all the proper tags for everything else.

S~V~S, read Pixelated Bukkake's role again. That will help.
The way I see it, everyone on the shortlist of possible PBers also voted for BWT so I don't think voting for BWT clears anyone of being that role.Mister Rearranger wrote:I considered INH early in the game, but his.recent posts have a better feeling for me.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 5]
I only read back that last couple pages but what stood out to me was the Dom vs SVS, obviously. I'm throwing down on SVS's side. I think Dom and MR are possibly teamies aaaaand other than that I'm interested in FH's suspicions as well. I think those are a few good places to look the next day. I didn't really review the case on Rey so I'm kinda indifferent there, hope he's bad though.

Day 5 End: Bukkaked
rey didn’t want to die. He wasn’t done sharing the disgusting. But after what he had pulled the previous day, people just weren’t willing to hear him out, because seriously, that was some messed up shit.
Now, lets see what you all want to teach. I bet this won’t be disturbing!
Fucking up "Silent Night" in front of 300 parents, Throwing a virgin into a volcano, Smashing all the pottery in a Pottery Barn in search of rupees, Poor life choices, Cockulous Maximus, Destroying the evidence, Laying an egg, Fingering
… what?
rey has been lynched. He was Pixelated Bukkake. Thanks for playing rey!
It is now Night 5. You have 24 hours to get PMs in.
New cards and powers will be out shortly.
Turnip Head has replaced Dom. Thank you for playing Dom, welcome to the game TH! TH cannot be killed tonight, and will not be lynchable D6.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Night 5]
Night 5 Challenge:
Write a story using only played white cards. Played white cards can be found in lynch posts (and the end of D0/start of D1 post), and all of those are linked on the 1st page. PM submissions to the host. You can move words/punctuation from within the cards around (you can ofc add punctuation as needed), but you can only use words from played cards, and keeping whole cards intact rather than breaking them up will give a better chance of winning.
The prize:
This is one you want. It isn't a res, rolecheck, kill, or switch. But you want it, so come up with something good. I'll give you N5 and D6 so there's plenty of time to get a submission in.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Night 5]
Hey guys! Stoked to be a part of this game
Still trying to wrap my head around the roles in this game, it seems like it will lead to a lot of intriguing possibilities. The host posts were absolutely hilarious, even if I had to highlight each post with my cursor in order to read the text on this forum skin.
I've done a quick read of the thread the past few days but I plan on looking at posts from the last two day periods more closely. Rey flipping Bukkake is huge. It seems certain that he had a hand in the BWT lynch by using his one-time power, perhaps seeing the writing on the wall and knowing his own days were numbered. The following day, Rey was up as a Bukkake suspect while the other two suspects, Aces and INH, took varying degrees of heat throughout the day. Somewhere in the overlap between the orchestrated BWT lynch and the Bukkake lynch, we should be able to find some of Rey's team. I'm gonna be looking at this from all angles in preparation for the next lynch.
@SVS: I see Dom was suspicious of you, and vice versa, though if you ask me it seems to have snowballed out of something tiny, almost meaningless. He mentioned your post after BWT's death as sounding insincere (something I don't personally agree with). But it just seemed like an opinion. When you asked him to elaborate he really didn't have anything more to say about it. I'll have to reread some more of his posts during that timeframe, but to me it seemed it was just a small ping of his that escalated into paranoia. I don't know why he found it worth voting on.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Night 5]
If you think it snowballed out of something tiny, then you read his posts, not mine. My suspicion has nothing to do with his opinion of me. I have thread based reasons for believeing what i believe. If you go back & reread my posts, you will see what i am saying.
Someone said something that led me to believe they were targeted by this guy to vote for BWT:
The lynch on BWT was mainly spearheaded by K4J, who also suspected Dom, very much. I quoted all the relevant post more than once yesterday.
I reread K4J yesterday, since i had time to do so, and tbh, he is coming across as very civvie to me. While I as trying to figure this out, I see a post by Dom. He says I seem insincere (I wasn't) and he also says:
You would think he would know that, if someone is hounding me for days, i would make it my business to know what they are thinking.
I think Doms team (cause I think he has one) forced someone to vote for BWT, specifically to get rid of K4J, since based on his gameplay so far, i can't imagine why anyone would feel an urgent need to get rid of him otherwise. And K4J did not seem suspicious at all and would be rather hard to lead a lynch on, and of course, and NK would point right to...Dom.
This is rather convoluted, but tbh, this is EXACTLY the kind of thing I do when bad ALL THE TIME. Framing people is one of my fave tactics. And Doms bad game is very similar to mine in many ways, when we are teammates, we are always on the same page.
Voting Dom again, and plan on pushing it harder today.
I think the circumstantial evidence points to this being the case.
thanks for reading

I do NOT want to keep pointing this out for obvious reasons, but people keep apparently not reading what I have posted before. TBH, I don't really know where to start. I do think SVS's reaction to BWT seemed very insincere, IMO. But that's nothing much. :/ If anyone can remember who started the discussion on BWT, that might be helpful!

Night 5 End: Guilty
A sassy black woman made everyone feel bad, because racism. They ran to hide from her.
MR didn’t escape her guilt trip, and wound up dead.
Question:
What brought the orgy to a grinding halt?
MR has been killed. Thanks for playing!
It is now Day 6.
Reminder about the live game tomorrow at 7pm est. PM me if interested in playing, not many people interested so far, looking like it will be cancelled. Get submissions in for the the white card story by the end of today if you’re doing that.
A sassy black woman made everyone feel bad, because racism. They ran to hide from her.
MR didn’t escape her guilt trip, and wound up dead.
Question:
What brought the orgy to a grinding halt?

Knew it.

We find comfort among those who agree with us - growth among those who don't.

Welcome to the game, TH. Sorry you had to be scum though, and sorry we can't lynch you today!
I really don't know what to do because after seeing Dom was replaced I was thinking of possibly perusing MR, as I thought they could be working together to go after SVS. Now I don't have any idea how I am going to vote this day.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 6]
Rest in peace, MR! I feel like you die so early in every game we play together
Thanks for the welcome KJ, but no thanks for being suspicious of me! I can only assume your read of Dom was off, but I admit to not yet giving Dom a full analysis. I really should go back and reread his interactions with the people who are suspicious of him, it's on my to do list. All I know is I was brought into this game as a civvie and I intend on playing an important part in a civvie victory.
Either way, it looks like I've got some borrowed time, so let's try to catch a baddie today and maybe I'll be able to prove myself to you in the process.
SVS, I get what you are saying in regards to the BWT lynch and the vote manipulation. I agree that it happened and I too saw evidence of it in the thread. I understand your theory and how Dom factors into it and it's plausible, but I'm here to tell you that it's wrong. Dom could not have been part of that conspiracy.
The BWT lynch itself seems like something the baddies would have been happy pinning on just about anyone. Rey obviously used the power because he thought his goose had been cooked, he could see the light at the end of the tunnel. FH's post about him possibly being the bukkake was incredibly compelling, and everyone seemed to know it. So he used his power. Perhaps he thought BWT would be an easy target to hit. Perhaps he thought it would cause us to look in any number of theoretical directions, like we are right now. Baddies who are going down are all about impact. The BWT lynch and vote manipulation therein was full of impact.
But I think it's premature at this time to draw any sorts of conclusions with so little actual concretes to go on. We all can guess as to what the intentions were, and who came up with those schemes, but that is a long and largely joyless exercise. There are easier and more thorough ways to catch baddies. We just caught the Bukkake, so it seems like we should be able to find his teammates through the reactions of people during the last few days he was alive. Only Rey and his teammates knew for sure that it was him, everyone else was just looking at the evidence. The moment to look at, I think, is FH's analysis post of who could be the Bukkake. Who didn't straight away accuse Rey afterwards? Who defended Rey, who bandwagoned on him, who deflected, and who didn't give an opinion one way or the other? Did anyone stay silent completely on the matter? These are all marks of potential baddie teammates.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 6]
This is something that usually wouldn't happen on K-site. If someone died first or second, in a previous games, most baddies would let that person survive longer. See? We're nice like that. You should come and play. We need players for Hunger games mafiaTurnip Head wrote:Rest in peace, MR! I feel like you die so early in every game we play together

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 6]
TH, I will have to read and respond to your post later tonight.
I know it probably sucks to come in with people who already have their mind set. It's something that's uncontrollable by you, but I cannot excuse what I saw in Dom and towards the end of the last day phase, it was only strengthened. I am not the type to just ignore it and I feel like giving you a fresh start may be suicidal.

For those of you who have tried it, and couldn't adjust, it will be different this time, because there will be substantially less players. And we usually don't kill the new people early on...which is something I can't say about you people

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 6]
My point was WHY BWT? With that combo of powers, they could have lynched just about anyone, every single one of those roles has a manipulation. BWT was a good choice because they could pin the lynch on someone else. Like, let's say you are a civ, TH. This would be the perfect opportunity for them to get rid of BOTH of us (if PB was still alive). Were you lynchable they could have made everyone vote for YOU, then they would all turn on ME when you turned up civ (if you were one, which I sadly doubt). This would be a smart way to use their powers, turning very little suspicion on themselves. That whole disingenuous "Now who was it that first brought up the case on BWT??" remark, well, lets just say i could visualize Dom putting his finger on his chin, rolling his eyes up and batting his eyelashes when i read it, lol. dom knew, he just did not want to be the one to say it. The perfect plot
I have 2 games~ if it is still in signups when time opens up, I will try again
It was eye opening, lol
but knowing what to expect, i may handle it better this time.

I agree Dom knew exactly who started it. I have played on Dom's baddie team twice and can say he knows almost everything thats going down he also knows how to stir the pot and throw suspicion on someone with a turn of a phrase.S~V~S wrote:My point was WHY BWT?
