Dragon D. Luffy I hate to belabor the point but I'm lost as to why you find Jay and nova's back and forth as confusing. To me it was basically "ur bad" "no ur bad" "see, ur bad" "see, ur bad" etc. What did I miss that was confusing?

You called Matrahari good and speedchuck bad. I can even lump leetic in here, but he was wordy and gave excuses so I won't for the sake of consistency. What do you have to base Matahari's intro off of to call it a good look? Iirc you said she seems like she doesn't care? How does she not care? How does speedchuck look like he >does< care? I do not agree that you can read into tone in these two posts beyond "speed is always bad so let's start him off as bad" and I want to give Matahari civ credit because I want to. I wasn't convinced, even for Day 0 Jay-level-shit flinging and I'm gonna say what I see.

"Why not both?"
Could be both, but the whole "Jay is bad" after he called you bad for the emoji thing didn't feel like genuine suspicion. I was wondering what solidified it. I can't tell from the ISO.

Re: Steely Dan Mafia [Day 0]
Speaking of the emoji thing, the thing I hated most was his doubling-down and branding my post "timid, shite". Felt like he was over-compensating, and I got the same feelings after our interaction when he turned his focus on Juliets by digging out an old game where she was bad just to further confirm his "good" early read of her.
Linki - lol juliets. Means "why not both?". I don't suspect him for one or another, for both and for just being shady in general

Re: Steely Dan Mafia [Day 0]
It's making a point about Jay being different. What it is not is an attempt to point Jay as bad for that difference, followed by waiting for him to defend himself, and then saying "okay I didn't actually suspect you, was just fishing for a reaction". Which is apparently the framework Jay wants me to follow.dunya wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2019 9:52 amThe bolded part sounds a bit like an accusation. It's just pointing a difference, then also pointing a possible explanation for the difference, which in turn makes an attempt to accuse him pointless since I don't believe in that accusation myself.

Oh, it definitely was the start of something. I mean when you don't believe someone suspect you for something, and they then double down on it, the only explanation is that they're bad. How is that not genuine suspicion?
You're accusing of the same thing, yet my initial suspicions didn't feel genuine?

You called Matrahari good and speedchuck bad. I can even lump leetic in here, but he was wordy and gave excuses so I won't for the sake of consistency. What do you have to base Matahari's intro off of to call it a good look? Iirc you said she seems like she doesn't care? How does she not care? How does speedchuck look like he >does< care? I do not agree that you can read into tone in these two posts beyond "speed is always bad so let's start him off as bad" and I want to give Matahari civ credit because I want to. I wasn't convinced, even for Day 0 Jay-level-shit flinging and I'm gonna say what I see.
speed’s was generic.
