Luna was not active and there were no night kills for what, 2 nights? Then there was the narrowed lynch poll. Luna was on it and all of a sudden she had time to come in and get involved. With an active Luna there was now a night kill. I explained that if the night kill came about now that Luna was active, that I would assume those non-night kills were due to an inactive mafia luna.

Was that a statement, or a question? I might reread a couple people on my tinfoil list tonight. I generally remember post restricting as a bad role, but somehow, claiming it made it seem more town.
Also need to check Dunya mafia game and reread her here. She knew why there was no kill on night 2, and now knows that Nova protected her on night 3. Something about that is raising my hackles.

On day 4, Dunya asked you if you thought nova was mafia (pocketing), and earlier, she said that she knew what happened in night 2, but not on night 3 (with the no-kills). But right after Nova was killed, her first post was thanking him for protecting her on night 3.

This sounds confusing so I’m going to quote about four of her posts. I don’t know how to multi-quite on my phone, so apologies for that.

I'll just say why I poked nova with the insanity stick:

His rate of contribution had been tailing off for a while, and that was generating increased suspicion alongside interactive bits. His earliest civilian credit had faded. Indeed, he was reverting into the form of Guy Who Posts Gifs.

So I decided he'd make a nice target for my weird ability. In past games, there have been instances where civilians have been hit with some kind of posting restriction, and during that period they operated in a manner that made their authenticity more clear. Some people will use any method they can come up with to communicate effectively instead of using the excuse to just piss off from the game for a day. So I wanted to see how nova would respond to that challenge. How has he performed?

I will issue a positive grade, though with a minor groan. He has found ways to communicate within the bounds of his restriction, and indeed he has engaged in almost "cheating" activities (no gripe, I've done the same in his position) that don't really apply to the restriction but may not violate it either -- emojis, raw quotes, etc. He's been generally active as much as anyone during the phase and seems to be trying to make the best of it.

Minor groan: the emojis were shite and offer less tangible communication than the other methods he's used. So those sucked. He hasn't wholly relied upon them though so whatever.

Ok. Five quote posts that might be much ado about nothing. I don’t understand the first three posts all together like that, that sounded like Dunya had no clue what happened the night before.
Then she knows what happened on night 2, but not night 3.
She makes a comment or two, to Jay and to DDL, sounding like she wants to hint that Nova is not super trustworthy, but drops it. Although it’s noted that DDL didn’t answer her.

Then she seems to know that Nova protected her on night 3, the night she said she didn’t know about.
I can’t follow any of the conflicting comments that Dunya has made, and make sense of them.

I think another role that serves as evidence of my theory is yours. Jack spoke the truth on at least one point: skipping a day phase is not a good thing for the civilians. It's a tradeoff in your case, and on balance it works out. Even nova's role, a jailkeeper, fits the paradigm. In the hands of the mafia that role is more or less a roleblocker -- still with the same utility it'd ever have in mafia hands.

I'm a civilian who curses people. I have an advantage in this conversation.
