I’ve played games for my husband in the past. I would have felt shit if I decided he had crafted a shit role and didn’t use it. I would have found a way to use the thing. And I usually try to find other people’s input if I can do so without being obvious. I revealed that role and tried to generate discussion on if we thought it might be civ or bad aligned. No one would. It would have been the perfect time to try and generate some strategy for how she could use it, but she didn’t. I’m not convinced that role is civ or that she really was choosing not to use it.

And this is where the Mata confusion comes in. I thought Night 2 I could still protect someone. I protected LC. No kill. I thought, well that was obvious. When Mata went hard on me for inconsistency, I made sure with Epi my Night 2 went though (since we didn't have a Day 2). He said no. He didn't tell me I failed, since I wasn't actually allowed to protect anyone in the first place. I only earn a protection by having a clear slate in the lynch poll. I thought Mata was a blocker in the end, and had blocked me on Night 2 (I wouldn't know since I didn't have a role). I tried to clarify that before she died.

Yes. I didn't know my role didn't work n2 until n5. I posted in here when I asked Epi about it. I misunderstood something in my role thinking it was some "smart" way of saying "if you survive the lynch, you get to protect someone". That's why when people said they have clever role distinctions I was like eh, mine is pretty straight forward.
