Really? Am I making an absurd and relentless tunnel against you? No. Am I making a hard push for you, trying to convince everyone that you're scum? No. Am I being relaxed about my scum reads and not making a big deal out of them? Yes. Was I in the last game? No. Am I being super confident in my scum reads? I mean sure, it'd make sense if the player is playing as bad as the did in the previous game and they're not changing but that's not me here. Yeah, I did do that when I first suspected you but after my interactions with you, my scum read dissipated and became a null read. That was until I tackled your iso and I don't see any leaping to conclusions there.

I did that to our interactions prior to me tackling your iso but after those interactions I wasn't scum reading you anymore.

This is vague (and off topic) but I'll spoiler it anyway.

I've long maintained that fiction is better with endings. Every sitcom I've ever watched apart from Boston Legal got stale before it was cancelled or it was cancelled after 1 season because not enough people watched it. The longest running franchises I'm into like Marvel/DC comics, Fate, Star Wars, etc all have some real stinker storylines mixed in. But A New Hope is damn good as a stand alone story. I don't need a Cujo 2.

So having a planned ending is still better than the series just skipping along until someone in charge decides it isn't worth the time and money anymore or however these things work.

Also, mainstream audiences finally get to learn what anime fans have known for some time. When the show catches up to the book, things get worse. Either you get filler (which I despise) or you get TV writers coming up with the endings to other people's books which inevitably don't live of to what came before. There was a noticeable drop in quality when Fullmetal Alchemist's original anime passed the point in the story the manga had gotten to and there was a noticeable drop in qualtity when AGOT passed what GRRM had written. It's not bad but it could have been better. I mostly got sick of the number of times that I detected the show wanted me to think something was going to happen and then it didn't. Just constant people raising their swords or dragons opening their mouths only for them not to stab/burninate. It's the dramatic equivalent of a jump scare. Just feels lazy and eats up screen time.
