Re: Zootopia Mafia Day 2
I do not think this post looks very good. Throughout the phase, speedchuck didn't really ever fight the Sloonei wagon and even posted some things that contributed to the thread atmosphere that lead to Sloonei being lynched (such as the post about replacements). Yet at the last moment, feels the need to distance himself from an impending mislynch.speedchuck wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 7:38 pm I'm not going to be around for deadline.
I do not endorse a Sloonei lynch.
Do what you want.

Re: Zootopia Mafia Day 2
I disagree with that interpretation. I didn't endorse a Sloonei lynch myself, but I could have voted speedchuck to prevent that. I didn't approve of a speedchuck lynch either.leetic wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 12:03 amI do not think this post looks very good. Re: Zootopia Mafia Night 2
I've been rereading.
Hot takes:
Epigosis is my newest scum read. He feels different from the Scrimmage game, where he was town. (Dear Owner, it was just one game, but there are other things he says that worry me. ~okay Owner)
Kyle is a nulll/slight town.
---
If I'm looking at the kill on nutella, I'm looking at speedy and dizzy.
Nutella calling speedy a wolf.
Dizzy wanting randomly lynch nutella. Dizzy's slow comment?
---
bob and indiglo for town.
leetic still likely town from rej's claim.
---
I think long con is town. I might be being too lenient here..not sure
Never could probably be lynched.
---
Mac, I'm unsure; he kind of feels like the scrimmage game...where he was scum. And I kind of read him town...so derp. (places mac in a nice null back burner box,,,i'll maybe vote that way if there is no one i think is more scummy)
---
BWT - *owner stares* where are you? Never, i would lynch because of the him changing his avi mid game. BWT, doesn't have anything in particular that I can recall as for something I would likely push on. mostly I would be pushing on his lack of activity.

I'm going to bed. I might be back before the night ends, but I'm not totally sure.
Tomorrow, I have work, then kickball, (then dinner?), and then visit game store to let them know I can't make the tournament on Saturday.

Because I was genuinely curious and I had planned to come back and do more. I just logged in to say I've had some unexpected real life stuff come up and my health has been quite bad very suddenly so I have been a little quieter. I know there's already been someone requesting a sub, so I won't do that to you guys ans I'm going to try to be here when I can. I'm really sorry.Sloonei wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 5:32 pmNeverwhere had nothing to say about soneji (neither did LC or Mac during Day 1, so I skipped them as well), but of her 3 posts this one catches my eye. I see what you are saying. I could however interpret this as a mafia Speedy (and/or a mafia Epi) staying away from a Sloon mislynch, while at the same time trying to avoid lynching a mafia Speedy.

I can also see Speedy and Epi being town, and Long Con being mafia with someone else. But I don't know which I think is more likely.

Re: Zootopia Mafia Night 2
Night 2
The bunny cop hadn't made much progress so far. Maybe she needed a partner. Or maybe she just needed to put more hours in. She ventured out into the night, darting around Sahara Square, looking for clues.
A shout caught her attention but by the time the bunny reached the source, it was too late.

The fox's face had been bitten right off.
Leetic has been nightkilled. He was Nick Wilde (Town, Predator).

Re: Zootopia Mafia Day 3
Note, this is my process but somewhat incomplete and partially truncated for brevity: I've ISOed a few people, I've read votecounts, and read the first page like 10 times, but I keep getting distracted as I sit down, so there is bound to be something missing and/or out of order. Noted posts are ones that stood out to me as I was reading.
Starting with the votes:
D1 VOUNTCOUNT
It doesn't surprise me that Soneji was scum: similar style to the last two scum games I played against him. I promise Soneji, some day we will be on the same side. Preferrably in the game at the same time as well.
Looking off this wagon, I can tentatively clear Kyle and there is a max of 1 wolf among Cbob, Dizzy and Indiglo.
D2 VOTECOUNT
Slooni v speed, and the town is lynched? with a wagon comp of 1 dead town, 1 super likely cleared town, and one likely town. Long con I am only slightly scumreading due to culture clash (him being rednamed is giving me confirmation bias, methinks) so I'll give this more thought as the game goes on. Conclusion, Speed is likely mafia; nothing else to draw right now from this.
--------------
P#36 Miller claim doesn't sit well with me. But it is something Jack would include. slight suspicion on Rej/Leetic until I get more info.
P#49 Pretty sure this will become self-explanatory later, but this stands out, and I want more info on this.
P#76 Colonial bob following votes with tiny text isn't scummy, but I find it strange and wonder if it is normal for him, or trying to provoke a reaction.
P#93 "This is me lurking" -Dyslexicon. (OH boy.)
P#118 A second miller claim? Would Jack do this to us? Yes. Yes he would. Ugh. Put Dyslexicon and Rej in a bucket toegether: one or both could be scum, and neither should be allowed to endgame.
P#153 I like indiglo for town here, but I think "mafia supplied with fake claims" would be characters from zootopia, not mechanically clearing ones. Slight derp-clear in my book.
P#156 indiglo making sense again, and talking to what i presume to be serial spammer dyslexicon.
P#158 first post by a confirmed wolf-soneji. I don't think his statements make Long con look like a partner, but perhaps colonialbob is one. Rej *could* be a partner from this, but I dunno.
P#160 & 161 Rej gives me good vibes with his mechanical talk about millers.
P#163 Indiglo looking towning again talking about opportunisic votes. I'll sheep Indy for a moment and give Epi a slight scum lean ATP.
P#164-168 Epi makes some good points. It could be just a jump by Indy, but I think I have to retract my "slight scum lean" I assigned Epi.
P#169 Speedy looks to be asking a question for the sake of asking it. Me no likey.
P#173 Dyslex retracts his miller claim. Looks decent, but still on my watchlist.
P#183 OoaLH makes a good reason for a vote in the early RVS.
P#185 I can't scumread OoaLH with this spoiler open.
P#187 Ok, so Dyslexicon was lying when he said he was lurking.
P#433 (*Psst*, Jack, I saw the movie.)
I'll pages 5-16 later, but right now, I'll put a vote on Speedy before heading to bed.

Ok, so here's a little on Owner...
These Day 1 posts are a bit empty at first. More about inflating post count than anything helpful.
I don't see this as an honest accusation.
... that's the Day 1 Owner that stood out for me. I would vote for Owner after this read. I'll get back into it if I can, but my time is up right now, so that's all you get.

I feel like there's an identity crisis going on. Gemma was the bird lover last game or person with the bird comics.
Has The Syndicate had a bird mafia game yet? If not, I think there is an audience here.
How rude. (jar jar voice)

I've looked through the conversation with bob, and the idea that he is TMI-ing doesn't make sense to me. If he thought the Predators were the Mafia, then that would be Too Little Information. What is ultra-specific about this post anyway? It's a weird accusation, is specificity alignment-indicative? Bob's post wasn't weirdly specific anyway.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 4:46 pmThis seems ultra specific. I think there's a chance this could be tmi.colonialbob wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 9:56 am Eh. I'll quibble with the angle shooting but that might be more semantics than anything else. My logic is definitely not "oh you didn't have this knowledge from your PM so you must not be town"
[VOTE: colonialbob] aubergine

Also a spoilered cat-pic of two cats hugging. I think it's an ugly post: a little "I threaten you, but then buddy you right after", and what's the idea here anyway? Is this a real accusation of "SK claiming survivor"? No mention of scum-Dizzy being a lurker despite the "ultra specific" accusation; shouldn't Owner have some scum-Dizzy memories to draw on?Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 4:52 pmNot sure if I like this from you, I think the most lurky version of Dizzy I've seen was the GoT game where you were SK claiming survivor.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 11:01 am You are all in luck, and will experience lurk-Dizzy this time around. Any questions? No? Good.
But under other circumstances, a lurky you might make some sense here.
Clear off-topic post disguised as real content.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 4:55 pm I'm not sure if like Neverwhere's Avatar picture change. It might be NAI though. Too bad it isn't a character; those are much easier to read than plain text.

I don't see the TMI angle on bob here. Then Owner says it's about him saying the word 'PM', which I get as angle-shooting, but not TMI. The last part of this quote, I can't really resolve in my head. "A lot of this is up to how everyone as a whole interprets each other" feels like it drains meaning, rather than clarifies.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 5:04 pmI am more voting for you for bringing up the word "pm".colonialbob wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 4:53 pm@Owner of a Lonely Heart my reasoning. Not really tmi I thinkcolonialbob wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 6:41 amThis is why I'm voting Rej. I find the wording "slipped and tell me town" to be something very strange for a town member to say to another townie.

Or how the wording ^^ here is defensive in saying that you aren't or your logic isn't like this.
I get that are explaining how you're not something, but a lot of this is up to how everyone as a whole interprets each other.
You may be this one idea or thing, but reading the quotations sounds like you know a thing or two. Or like I said, I feel like you are tmi-ing,
This looks like more genuine hunting. No issues with these good basic questions.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 5:08 pm
So what about Spacedaisy? What do you like or dislike about her so far this game?
This looks more 'TMI' than anything I have read from bob. Maybe because I still have some bad vibes from Rej about the whole Miller claim thing, but this post doubles down on the idea that Rej is Civ. Looks like two things: one, Owner has TMI that Rej isn't Mafia, and two, a desire to avoid whatever trap a Civ Rej might be trying to set here.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 5:20 pmFrom my understanding, a miller role is mainly an important distinction for whoever/whomever is/are the cop(s) in the game. Generally, it should only potentially be trusted if announced as a day 1.Long Con wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 1:14 am So what's the deal with the Miller claim? IF everyone votes for him... and he turns up Mafia... how will we know the truth? I guess it means little in a closed setup where we don't know how many Mafia there are, but we can estimate. Is it accurate that it's "usually a mafia tactic"?
I haven't seen it used as a mafia tactic in awhile.
... that's the Day 1 Owner that stood out for me. I would vote for Owner after this read. I'll get back into it if I can, but my time is up right now, so that's all you get.

I'm catching votes apparently, understandable.
Sorry I've been absent, didn't get home until 9 the last two days and was in an all day meeting yesterday so I couldn't mafia.
