Lynching lurkers will help us. Lynching lurkers who also vote is a good idea.

Would love to see some more vote analysis and night kill analysis from everyone. Since personally I’m bad at just straight up reading posts and making an vague opinion

So finishing up day one, of the people alive I’ve split it as such from top to bottom as good, bad, and ugly no content.

In more colloquial terms. The players at the top posted either in a way I found to be in line with a towny or their town meta(ish) while everyone else performed at a sub par level in the day discussion, or was heavily involved in nova’s kerfuffle that I think was a waste of time for most everyone involved.

From my memory, 80% of D1 was an asstastic fight between you, Rej and Draco wherein you all looked terrible but not teamed. Then you started looking better later.

The last 20% was Juliets and Sabie going “Gah idk” and ignoring the scummy players. Iirc, LC saying they were both town (need to check this) and then four players voting Tony for basically no reason.

Mac just feels really town. I expect town Mac to aggressively (in tone, not necessarily volume) players I scumread. He is aggressively pursuing Drago, a player I scumread.

I'm still looking at some others but as I read you, Oreki, Rej I'm not seeing big things that make me think "mafia". I see some weird things in Rej but I can't tell if I am just misunderstanding him or he just makes odd posts or those posts are indicative of him being bad. I'm trying to sort through that now.

Regarding Nova's suspicion of you @Dragomir the dialogue between you two seems to be centered on whether Rej was joking in his response to Nova's gth pre-posting activity. I am just not finding enough meat on that bone to make me suspect either of you. If there is more to it that I am somehow missing please let me know. I have seen Nova go after civs before early on (in fact he did it to me when I was civ in another game) so I'm really not too concerned about it. I'm also not convinced though by his suspicions to be suspicious of you.

Nova, this seems a little out of the blue. What has convinced you all of a sudden that Tony is bad? I'm having a hard time reading him, I don't think I've played with him before.

Hmm I've been sleeping on it for a bit, it's not sudden. I don't like the default series of read that led him to suspect Creature. Most of the reads were uninspiring, and I feel like he was giving town reads like candy. Most of the recipients were the people getting vote and the center of most discussions, he's kind of just brushing them as an attempt to avoid the thick of it I guess. The push on Creature is in the same vein. It's a pretty arbitrary, looks like he's just trying to have something resembling initiative going on and park his vote somewhere. The playful tone and bland questions doesn't speak to me as trying to figure someone out. He's starting from the ground up, it doesn't feel like he suspected Creature and then started to question him to get a better grasp on him, but rather threw a dart on a wall, Creature's name came up and he went along with it lol. I don't think that how apathetic Creature was posting was a coincidence in his choice.

You've read all the ISOs right? What are your thoughts on him?

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply it was not well thought out. I understand how something simmers and becomes a suspicion.

As I said to Epi, I have no idea of what Quin case he's talking about. His posts come off to me as rather bland and not digging and he hasn't posted at all today which I don't see as a good sign (neither have a couple of other people though). I guess I have kinda ignored him because there wasn't a lot there and others have posted oodles of things.

I have been dwelling on Epi's post about Tony's Creature post and I have to say I see exactly what he means. Tony seemed to go through eliminating people until he was left with Creature but a lot of people were left out of that deductive process so it seems flawed. I also agree with you that he doesn't seem to be trying to figure Creature out - he just landed there and went with it.

So with that said, I do find him suspicious. I don't know anything about how analytical he normally is but I'm feeling pretty good about Epi and he says this is uncharacteristic. He tops my list at the moment.

I think one of Drago and Rej is probably scum. I didn’t think there was a better place to vote D1. Juliets (and in fairness several people) did not seem interested in sorting the two. I suspect Juliets in part for this.

I am now not sorting Rej and Drago. I’m not doing this because idk which is scum and especially because I think Juliets looks worse than both of them.

The joke is that I suspect Juliets for doing a thing that I am doing if you ignore the context.
