Plinko refers to the number of routes for read development and the number of finalities. It’s a very limited, restricted reads space. Civilians tend to operate in a much broader, chaotic, and continuous spectrum.

“after he received some good townreads” is a bit off-putting. It doesn’t refer to Mac but rather to his status in the game, and in this context it could suggest Rej knows too much about Mac.

I feel like I am reaching as I type that. It’s worth stating though, and Rej ought to expand/clarify.

I pursued my suspicions, and felt myself drifting toward self-incredulity more than doubt of Mac’s comments. My grievances weren’t holding, and without them, I am left judging Mac at face value. I don’t think he sounds dishonest. This may seem vague. So it goes with gut reads.

Yep, but many of the effortless mafia can do enough to look like they're doing something and fly under the radar while town goes for the more inactive.

They don't disappear abruptly, they don't come up with excuses all the time.
