Nothing.

Epi usually gives me more.

At the very least, there is a major change in how he's approaching the game. Him regretting voting Dom and saying he won't keep trying is extremely non-Epi.

That and nobody was talking much about Eppi before you came so feels like I'm joining a rebellion or something. I like that.
Who else do you suspect?

Civ DDL is usually his own man and always get suspected because he likes to theorycraft and share everything that come to his mind. Their usually raw thoughts and often appears as flip flopping. Here he kind of seems like he's aligning himself with the thread and trying to compromise in a weird fashion. Not sure how I like his argumentation about how your handling certain players in comparison to others. Don't see that coming from a townie perspective

Like LC sounded pretty shady early then I kind of forgot about him.

Well in The Wire he sounded pretty legit early and then I kind of forgot about him. He was civ. I guess that's a sing of scumminess.

So i'm thinking if all four turtles are civ then mafia has a very strong incentive to kill them all. They can't really wifom their way out of it.

But if at least one of them is bad, maybe mafia lets to get the others leave since that member being bad forces town to eventually lynch some of them. True, it may be still smart to kill some of them, but maybe not all of them.

What I mean is that those kills say good things about Sloon and Timmer I guess.

Not sure if I could find it. I don’t think anything about Wilgy’s ISO gives me a strong scum tell but there were some voting patterns yesterday I could interpret as pointing to scum Wilgy.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot. If there is scum in TMNT the idea is you let that pseudo team coast out to a mafia victory? But I agree with the premise that scum among that group would be more likely to think of possibilities that aren’t 1234 TMNT kills whereas scum outside of that group recognizes immediately they can lose on endgame if they don’t start acting.

But if there weren’t kills in the group early I also think they lose their “immunity” faster? And I think even if there’s a member in the group Quin N1 presents itself as a strong option as opposed to — Me? Epi? I’m highest poster outside the group but might get lynched, Epi hasn’t said much. Sig I guess works as an N1 kill.

I can only get on when I can get on. We are getting ready for exams and the end of the semester and that's the busiest two times of the year for me by far. There is also an earlier deadline in "All My Circuits," so that gets prioritized over this one.

I apologize for not being around, but this is the best I can do.

Not necessarily. TSP has a very good counterpoint. Killing outside of the group of 4 to bring attention to them, and they might start to lynch amongst them, as well as other townies doing the same.

The implicit conclusion here is he’s scum and was trying to distance himself from a bad lynch. The problem with that is it’s identical to Sloonei’s play day 1.

If there is an argument for Epi to be bad, it's that this game has been relatively quiet since Day 1, and Epi's relatively low level of participation has done nothing to change this, and if anything it has helped to maintain the status quo. I don't believe very strongly in this argument.

I am enjoying reading a game where people are forced to make assertions and shit against me based on nothing. I've not lived this long in a game I've lurked before. I can't promise I won't continue to.

I will however say that Sloonei and TSP pinged me. Epignosis also has some content that I was surprised to see was his. His tone is unusual.

Sloonei is playing quite within himself. I don't think he is a town voice. TSP 's post count list is pretty busyworkish. TSP where's your obvious town play?

Michelle I like. Sig and LC has this weird moment where they coalesced some equally unwarranted suspicion towards her which could be btsc leakage.
This is the most substantial post mac has made, and most of his follow up chatter was "Sloonei is scum", so I'm not sure how much any of these words really matter. Michelle is the only player he does not read negatively here. I'm intrigued by the point about LC and sig though.

i prefere to wait for Mac to play. Sounds genuine in his 5 posts
This is sketchy. Nothing to say earlier about it, but when the Mac train gets derailed, Michelle's opinion on the matter blossoms. "Sounds genuine" is one of the worst cop-outs for an opinion on someone that I know. [VOTE: michelle] aubergine

Out of these seven, I'd rather not lynch DDL, LC, Wilgy today.

I can never read Dom, like ever so who knows there.
Sorsha is inactive so I'd leave her in hopes of a replacement.

That leaves TSP and Michelle, I'll go read over Michelle's posts, but some of his posts have gut pinged me.
sig wrote: Sun Jan 05, 2020 9:08 pm I'd recommend people skim Michelle real fast, they're a bit sketchy to me based off two main things. One being how much she focused in on Creature post flip, that's safe territory for mafia and two what else they decided to comment on. I'd be willing to place a vote there, but generally I like to give replacement a phase to get steady, so I'd say we should eye her more this phase then go for a lynch.

I could also go for a Tony lynch, but really I don't find anyone that bad.
I agree with neither of these suspicions, but I'm not sure I see the coordination that Mac is talking about. It also reminds me of something I saw last night when I happened to glance through an old game. I'll post about that in a minute. stay tuned, folks.

In A World Asunder, Mac was scum and tried to turn a lynch around on me because I had expressed suspicion against his teammate (juliets) on Day 1 after another civilian (G-man) had introduced a case against her (link).

Mac was attempting to argue that our benevolent host G-man and I had coordinated an attack against an easy civilian target. But we were both civilians, and the person he was defending was actually his scum partner. I'm not arguing that the exact same scenario is playing out right now, but the similarities are striking: Macdougall is arguing that two players (Long Con and sig) are launching a coordinated attack against a civilian target, who could presumably be seen as an easy target (Michelle).

Idk.. i didn't read until now the post where Mac reads me and i feel like unnecessary from him to pocket me instead shading me because my own game presence is under my usual play and the easiest thing rn is a push on me. On the other hand maybe I am completely off and this is what a scum want to keep in the game?
I don't remember to previously play with DDL. He plays without mistakes, nothing pings, but idk if he is at the level to lay so low as villager. He don't make waves. But he's not the only one. I feel that from Nova too.

The implicit conclusion here is he’s scum and was trying to distance himself from a bad lynch. The problem with that is it’s identical to Sloonei’s play day 1.
:haha: I know you corrected this to "sig's", but not before I said "what?" and went to compare their play for a little while.

Anyway, you're right, sig just looks satisfied to tunnel Sloonei, lynch trains be damned.
