Again, what is the advantage to lynching a townie who hasn’t been recruited? Even if I wanted to be recruited and the bear knew who I was and wanted to recruit me (all of which are pretty big ifs), lynching me before I’m recruited just means the bear will recruit someone else so lynching me is the same as lynching any other townie.

If you think I’ll be recruited later, it stands to reason you should fail to lynch me later instead of failing to lynch me today.

I also didn't like his town read on TL for the post where he says "don't reveal your role, there's a soup kill"

I guess I expect scum more often than not to give reads that are based on mechanical talk, because they can much more easily wiggle out of that read at some point, while still looking like they're contributing something.

I’m reasonably certain I incorrectly “cleared” Monokuma yesterday. I think our bear is DDL.

I sent a message to Monokuma asking that he recruit a specific role and implied it was mine.) Is it? Probably not )

Monokuma did not attempt to soupkill me and said they weren’t going to recruit me yet, implying they believed me and did not feel threatened by me. Additionally, they said something that kinda implied they knew me prior to this game.

So Monokuma is almost certainly not Sloonei or Fayt or Coo. Probably not Dom either.

Additionally, though I’m not great at this kind of thing, the message sounded like DDL. DDL was one of my weaker clears from yesterday.

DDL is on my short list. Not many other people are. I’m gonna get on a computer and do the rest of the work here.

I also PMed the bear. Someone asked. I said that in the thread. I told him to recruit me. I didn’t give him a role. He didn’t respond to me the second time I PMed him; maybe he wised up.

Also, Long Con got corrected on the vote thing ever since the start and he kept pushing that angle in a way that I feel like is just plain faked. There's no way you don't re-read anything / what the host posts, especially when Monokuma's role is like 6 lines and that's without secret roles.

I just think he's latching on every opportunity to fake derp clear himself more than he's engaged with actual hunting.

But I'm fine sitting on Long Con for now, it could've been a really unfortunate, circumstantial thing. As in, I can definitely see why he'd separate us from the other peeps, but then tying us to the people that pm'd bear by saying "and anyone else who pm'd the bear" heavily implies we've also done so. and it turned out to be true.

That's what Jack has going against him at the moment and probably the most solid thing we can go on.

He’s derped all over every Monokuma related mechanic. If he’s Monokuma, he’d have to have come into the game planning to do exactly that. I’ve wolfed with LC a few times. He’s a good coordinator but doesn’t start with master plans like say Eva or Rokk.

To expound, that perspective only comes from Monokuma there. He was asking questions regarding the night kill because he didn't exactly know either, so it seems reasonable to ask.

Monokuma obviously knows that there aren't any mafia, he'd think so, because of the fact he is told that he converts them. So, Monokuma would have this exact outlook and reach that exact conclusion "mafia will attack once recruited" instead of actually thinking "wait, but what if there's already a mafia in the game that carries out the kill? isn't that a more likelier possibility?"

that post just takes a stance on a pre-set thought and not really considering anything else. A sith deals in absolutes is what we often say.

I hope you understood a little something about what I mean here, it's not *that* big of a deal, but honestly, this is the only thing that we can chase after Monokuma right now.

Think it's the most reasonable thing going for us / best option available.

Yeah. Non secrets have Leon and Monokuma as the only vote modifiers yesterday. Today, we also have Aoi and Byakuya. Assuming those roles are all in play.

I'm not a fan of no flip mafia but it does remind me of one of my favorite games of all time so allow me to reminisce:

3 vanilla scum
1 cop
1 doctor
8-10ish townies

Basic setup. I roll cop and night 1 red peek someone. So I push that case day 2. He claims cop and that he has town confirmed X (another scum member). OK. Whatever. He was a better player than me, I get lynched. Scum kills him night 2 and the person who got "town confirmed" coasts out the rest of the game.

Back in the good ol days.

In a game where the objective is at least partially to survive, I have no qualms saying that I would like to Lynch the player who's very good at lynching me. This is probably why people tell me I'm too honest when we play Diplomacy.

COOO! (Btw if anyone ever tells Monokuma their character name they 100% will never be recruited unless it's a really good role for him to have. It's infinitely better just to keep you alive and soup kill you in the future)
