Jack isn't town here. If there's one read you should come back to if/when I die it should be this one. I can best summarise it by saying that he feels like he is only half attempting to scum hunt when compared to his actual range. Which would be forgiveable if he wasn't also ever present. He is holding back. Actually this is probably explains why I've had suspicion on a range of other players too. Jay, Sloonei, S~V~S, TSP, Dyslexicon all fit the bill.

I can’t see anything but town Jack in this game. There was a burst of emotion (not a deliberate appeal to emotion) on Day 1 that I thought projected a level of agitation that would not have been reached if he was bad.

Please show me this. I haven't been bothered by Jack since the nutella thing, but I grant that in his extended absence I forgot about him. That's atypical.

I got weird vibes from Ted D1, and then he appeared reluctant to address Dizzy's 'scumslip' on him. It wasn't the slip itself that bothered me, but his forced nonchalance about it? Something like that. Lol at her flipping votes, though.

The Mac read is nothing special. I agree with what Jay said about his Dom post, and a few other sentiments expressed in the past two pages.

Dizzy and Dom both seemed like fairly stable, level heads in the thread D1. I like town dizzy and town dom.

Bonus: I don't care to lynch G-man.

It comes more from a PoV of me having a civ role and transparently laying out my thoughts, which would make me believe I'm obvious town (I never filter my thoughts) and me never being mislynched in one year of mafia is also contributing towards this. I'd rarely been suspected as town so I have high expectation when such claims occur.

I just had the strongest gut reaction of "This guy is scum" when he first started. It was so detached and at the same time over playing a confident and comfortable vote. I swear I've seen that many times with experienced players. That's just the main thing I'm going after. But even if he is scum, there's still 8 other good lynches.

G-Man oompa-loomping for no reason has zero bearing on his alignment. I find it rather consistent with his Day 1 actually, where he was a Cranky Butt about the pace of the game. When not having fun, make your own fun.

Originally I voted him because I was convinced he wasn't cursed and was affecting a shtick to hide behind and not have to engage in many reads or in-the-moment discussions which I think are harder for scum. Epi boiled it down pretty well - what has he really done during this Day 2?

But I'm unclear now what is going on. He never came back after lunch to say anything. I was expecting him to provide some content, some reads, engage in the game and maybe tell us what he gained by the curse so I could get a better read on him.

At any rate, I see your request and will not talk about this any more until he comes back. I have a couple of more people I want to look at to decide where I will move my vote if that's what I do.

Cause town has perverse incentive to cooperate with scum that have good SRs on the opposite team, so you see mac as doing that and think it’s a townie mindset

I really really really really dislike his flip flop on how he read me and Nutella. He declared me a wolf and Nutella one we should follow after the two of us started battling. Then like 12 hours later, I was town and Nutella was scum because I read her perfectly.

His argument for Nutella being scum exists in its entirety at the time he expressed a strong townread on her. His read change does not come from a town perspective. It comes from a scum perspective mimicking townplay, ie trusting Jack's Nutella read.

Why would baddie Mac express a strong townread on nutella and then flip flop just as soon? Why would a bad guy do that? It's a townie maneuever, just like your exact opposite flip flop was (I assume) townie.

Cause he forgot about his townread on her cause it was fake. Or cause Nutella was suddenly more appealing as a lynch considering she was counterwagon to his buddy Radish (which would be convenient considering our top wagons) than she was when I was the only player voting for her.

My progression is out there for everyone to see. Mac's progression doesn't exist on the thread.

@Ted - not going to go re-quote everything, because I think Nook already expressed what I had been trying to say. I think we were mis-communicating with each other re: Inception!Mac and derpclears. I misunderstood you a bit at first.

Still, I don't agree with your takes, and your confident tone came across to me as TMI about Mac's alignment. I can see you don't filter, so maybe that accounts for it? But I don't find your reasons for townreading Mac convincing.
