Lol.

I 70% buy it.

Like that’s very themey and a mafia power stealer doesn’t claim like that.

Actually even if Jack is scum that's points for Radish unless they're w/w.

Whether I'd suspect Jack's role as mafia depends on how roles were assigned. Based on my townrole, I'm going to say role assignment is not random across alignment.

Not what I said, Jack.

Verifying a town role claim someone else made seems a bit AI to me. Explain what MR is trying to do otherwise?

I'm probably not going to scumread or townread anyone just for their role. I get the sense this game is role madness, and since we're allowed to reveal I'm guessing the scum don't necessarily only have the 'scummy' powers and the townies have the 'townie' powers.

I don't like mechanics solving anyway. What do people think about the group of sig voters?

Without checking I think it was:

Juliets
Tony
Jack
MP7
Nanook

I ask because that's a big ol' pile of 'mmm...not sure' to me.

Looking at 112's ISO (the later posts) she indicated suspicion of LC being a deep wolf, some suspicion of Hyena for short posts which she said he does but usually adds more content when he's town, DDL who she thought we all were giving an undeserved pass, MP7, and to some extent Nanook. She had a town lean on MR and nutella.

I know a lot of people don't believe in night kill analysis but I don't want to completely dismiss what she was thinking.

speedchuck you indicated you thought we should take a long look at LC today, is that still your feeling?

But he also hasn't really been looked at since the crowd of joke D1 posts.

There are good if one off reasons to townread me and Tony.

I just feel like MP7 seems pure, particularly when he was like “the difference between my town game and my scum game is obvious.” It could be a bold lie. I certainly would say some nonsense like that as a wolf. Most people wouldn’t unless it were trueish and if it’s trueish, calling attention to it will get him caught if he’s bad.

He seems to be taking it personally. Though to be fair it does seem he'd make that effort even if he was not one of the people being lynched, so whatever.

Not sure where this nutella wagon even came from, it's very sudden.

I'm not super strong on the Hyena case bu I agree him following me on my placeholder poison lynch is bad. Could vote.
Just out of curiosity, did you read the nutella v MP7 interaction from D1?
Dragon D. Luffy wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2020 9:10 am TSP is basically absent from the game even if he is posting.

This is what I was trying to say D1 about Tony.
Dragon D. Luffy wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2020 9:07 am Wouldn't mind killing Nanook tbh.

He feels A LITTLE more scumhunting than last game, but the idea of letting Nanook fool me two consecutive times seriously irks me.

I already know the man can fake emotion like a top tier mafia player. I'm not giving him a civ read for cheap.
No worries, I'm on to Nanook, too, bud.

Also don't think MP is actually that deserving of a place in my trust pile. He's far below MR/speed etc in that regard and should probably be in the middle tier

Revised

Never lynching:
(These people are never ever scum here)
speedchuck
Master Radishes
---
(Okay I could admit it's possible I'm wrong about these)
Long Con
Tony

I could be convinced to lynch:
(Less likely)
M Plus 7
Jack
---
(More likely, roughly from least to most)
juliets
DDL
DrWilgy
PoiSloon

I actively want to lynch:
Hyena
Nanook

Considering he was nearly lynched and now there's still low-level chatter about him, yeah, I could see a townie that scum think is low-hanging fruit (in this scenario, not Nook himself as a player).

But sometimes scum are those players that sit in everyones outer PoE but are never actually lynched. At the moment Nook fits that mould better than anyone, I'd say.

nutella can you tell me why you're so convinced about Tony? Or point me to where you explained it, if I've just missed it?

Juliets and DDL have similar problems. They haven't stood out or made any impact. I don't like that.

The more I think about it the worse I feel about juliets. She has shown the bare bones of her meta without any of the meat. Her most content-ful post was a lengthy justification of her sig vote after sig had flipped. Not great.

When he countered the idea that alex jones would necessarily be anti-town. Suggested to me that he has a town role that isn't obviously flavorfully "good" and definitely seemed like something scum would never say there in any situation.

I know it's juliets and she doesn't reallly... hunt. But I'm not sure how else we are supposed read her, assuming we can even read her.
Early game just isn't my thing. I hope that I'm better today.
DDL already called out the sig thing and she handwaved it without responding to the point.

Not sure where this nutella wagon even came from, it's very sudden.

I'm not super strong on the Hyena case bu I agree him following me on my placeholder poison lynch is bad. Could vote.
What? I don't really care about the poison vote anymore. Hyena following you on the MR vote was bad. Talk to me about that?

I thought his point was I haven't done much this game. If it wasn't, what point is it you want me to respond to?

Sometimes it will naturally come out, but it can be contained if we just remember that this is a game on a message board forum that 99.99% of the population of the Earth has never heard of before. No matter how successful anyone is, it means just about nothing.

Okay, just that then?

I get the thought process, but I don't agree it's something scum would never do. If he had been the first person to respond, yeah, but two others had just posted 'scum' and '3P'. There was an opening to say 'town', and it's an amusing and/or contrarian response that's well within Tony's wheelhouse IMO.

I need to ISO him too though, since - DDL may not believe this - I've been wrong on my D1 reads before.
