This is a common defense of mafia members to suspicion on them, and is just iffy logic. Just because you said you'd sheep them, doesn't mean you wouldn't kill them, nor would you be the only one making choices within a mafia team.

boo rescued us from the bondage of 50 ppp. For a while the option to change that in the user control panel didn't work. It does now though, and you can set it anywhere from 1-99.

I'm so used to 50 that I can't really imagine anything else anymore. Like I know what number posts will be on what pages, and the way I read the thread is just so.... comfortable in knowing there are 50 posts on a page. It's completely ingrained in how I visualize the game.

I think it has a lot to do with my sort-of-eidetic-memory way of thinking about a lot of things -- like I have it for books too in that if I remember a specific passage from a book I remember where it was physically on the page. In mafia if I don't remember a specific post number I'll still remember roughly how far down the page it was.

I just got around to reading Myo's bigger posts from the last few pages. Her tone still strikes me as firmly civilian. This is her first game here, so we're all new faces, and our format itself is something of a departure from what she's used to. I can understand if she isn't as quick to hurl reads around as others. I see effort and that's what matters to me.

Yeah that's fair, I don't really look at like the scrollbar itself really so it's probably that I actually pay more attention to post numbers. Like if I'm catching up on a lot of pages I like to be able to note that if I'm at xx25 or xx75 I'm halfway through the page as a nice landmark.

Nothing in particular. That post was suspect and I wanted to push there, but I don't read them more bad then good overall. If not against the rules of your GTH they would be null.

I am trying to catch up on homework, had to drive my sister to DFW this morning, and major American cities are burning. There is a lot going on.

Good lord, four pages at the eod? I’m going with my gut based on my earlier reads. What’s the story with the LC wagon? Did I miss something or is it in these last four pages?

If I'm picking out one moment from Daisy's ISO that doesn't sit well with me, it's this. I color coded the three separate ideas conveyed in this near-deadline post.

Green - I'm not sure what precisely Daisy means when she says "Dear God", but the implication seems to be that there's four pages of content she has not read. This leads into...
Blue - She will need to resort to a vote based on previously-formed reads. I do not object on principle. With so little time, she can't possibly be expected to take in everything that's happened in her absence. But...
Orange - We have established that Daisy is voting for her pre-existing suspect (Soneji) and won't/can't take in the previous four pages of the thread in time for it to impact her decision. Her vote has been cast, and the tone of the Blue sentence makes it seem final, set in stone. But then she tacks on a question about one of the competing wagons, as though she has interest in it enough to merit a vote change. But Blue and Orange don't mesh. Green and Blue do, and then Orange feels tacked on out of obligation. "I am supposed to be interested in this case, so I will ask."

Things were pretty hectic at this time, so it's understandable if she didn't see that Jack was starting to receive votes too. She commented after the fact to say she "never would have voted him". And I note no further interest in LC. In fact, all three of her Day 2 posts are exclusively focused on self-defense with the brief exception of some shade directed at ted for his suspicion against her. I do not struggle to read her deadline post as that of a mafioso who showed up at the end of what seemed to be a safe lynch, so she just went through the motions and checked off the boxes which required checking. Her follow-ups on Night 1/Day 2 do not reflect an earnest interest in solving the game. I understand that it can be frustrating and overwhelming to become Suspect #1 overnight like she has, but self-defense can't accomplish anything if you're not also trying to help us find another target for suspicion. So @Spacedaisy if you want us to vote for somebody else today, help us figure out who that should be.

Might be worth noting that that post was made a minute after the poll had already closed. So I assume she quickly voted Soneji, then made that post. Which kinda makes the LC question even weirder, since I assume since she voted first she realized the deadline was up anyway.

Since when is it so fucking weird for a civilian to try to understand why a wagon had formed that they hadn't expected? When I cast a vote, only a minute or two before the EoD, LC was the leading candidate. I wanted someone to give me a simple concise answer so I could understand what I had missed.

Also the timing of daisy's vote/post makes it a bit strange that she questioned the LC wagon but not the quick move onto Jack-- though to be fair it did happen quite fast at the very end so it's possible she had voted and looked at the poll when LC was still ahead and while she was writing the post the cfd happened. Awkward though in any case.
