I know you guys have had some criticism of EOD non-attendance, just remember that more and more of us are getting locked up by Dizzy, and Tony, did you say it's all decoded now?

You should prepare for my flip to be town, but I'm done discussing it unless you have something you want me to address. Let's try to solve instead.MacDougall wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 10:40 pm How is it next level tunneling? It's just me suspecting you and trying to stop other people giving you a free pass lol. You need to be dead. If we endgame with you and lose it'll be the stupidest fucking thing ever.

Hell dude I don't even see you solving the game. You just came out near EOD and pushed "not you" wherever you could find traction and oh look a town died.

Re: Escape From Trump Tower [NIGHT 4]
Okay I'm doing this a paragraph at a time just to have it out there. I have am idea of what we need to do to neutralize dizzy or to control dizzy but I'm still working out the details. Here's the last paragraph though
"You cannot be lynched on day one, and you cannot be killed by the mafia until you have either contributed to the lynching of a member of the mafia or until you have locked up a member of the mafia. You will not be told if you have locked up a member of the mafia."

Re: Escape From Trump Tower [NIGHT 4]
One thing I need input on: the last two sentences of paragraph three:
Players locked ~~~~~~ ~h~~~ ~~~~ will be told to post for the first twenty-four hours of the day phase and for the first twelve hours of the night phase. Players locked ~~ ~h~~~ ~~~~ will be told to cast their vote during the first twenty-four hours of the the phase.
LC had up in as the two letter word but there's no u replaced in so that's inaccurate. I have no idea what the phrase ~h~~~ ~~~~ is. Any ideas? Could be something like three days, but I don't know how to make the sentences both coherent then

Re: Escape From Trump Tower [NIGHT 4]
Third paragraph:
Locking someone in their room will prevent them from being killed by the mafia, as well as having any night roles used by or against them. They will also be removed from the lynch poll for the duration of their stay inside their room. Players locked inside their room will be told to post for the first twenty-four hours of the day phase and for the first twelve hours of the night phase. Players locked in their room will be told to cast their vote during the first twenty-four hours of the the phase.
Half way.

Re: Escape From Trump Tower [NIGHT 4]
The first two paragraphs are proving more difficult. Here's what I've got right now, in sum:
Your role is an independent third party. In this game, each player has ~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ ~ ~~~~ ~u~~~~. You ~~l~ keep your ~~~~ ~u~~~~, and you ~~~ ~h~ ~~l~ ~l~~~~ ~~ ~h~ ~~~~ ~h~~ k~~~~ which ~~~~ ~u~~~~ h~~ ~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ ~~ ~h~~. Your wincon is ~~ ~~~ ~h~~~ ~l~~~~~ locked ~~~~~~ ~h~~~ ~~~~~ ~~ ~h~ ~~~~ ~~~~. Each night you may choose to lock a player of your choice inside their room. If their room has already been unlocked by the night poll, then you will not be able to lock their room for the remainder of the game. If their room has not been unlocked yet, then they will be locked inside their room until ~~~ ~f ~h~~~ ~h~~~~ h~~~~~~.
If their room is unlocked by the night poll, then they will ~~~~~~ the (room). If you are lynched or nightkilled, it will trigger a (we)l(ding) ~f ~~~~~~ ~~~ ~~ their room, killing them. If you ~~~ ~~l~ ~~ lock ~h~~~ ~~~~l~ ~~~~~~ ~h~~~ ~~~~~, ~h~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~ ~~ll ~~ ~~l~~~~~ ~~ each ~f ~h~~~ ~~~~~, killing ~h~~~ ~h~~~ ~l~~~~~ and fulfilling your wincon. If your door (becomes) lockable ~~ ~h~~ ~~~~, then you will be able to lock yourself inside, ~~~k~~~ your name from the poll. If your door has been unlocked by the night poll, then you ~u~~ ~~~~~~ ~~ ~h~ ~~~~, ~~~~~~~ ~~ The Keymaster. Locking someone in their room will prevent them from being killed by the mafia, as well as having any night power used by or against them.
You cannot be lynched on day one, and you cannot be killed by the mafia until you have either contributed to the lynching of a member of the mafia or until you have locked up a member of the mafia. You will not be told if you have locked up a member of the mafia.
you can check that against the original if you think something doesn't make sense

Okay, so if Dizzy locks one more person up, all three of them die but Dizzy wins is my understanding of the untranslated stuff. I think the way to do this is to force Dizzy to lock up a member of the POE and blocking Dizzy's progress otherwise.

Re: Escape From Trump Tower [NIGHT 4]
the problem is I still haven't reasonably figured out why Nanook wasn't able to be locked up if the doors correspond to players alphabetically, since Nanook is the eleventh player and the eleventh door hasn't been unlocked.

Re: Escape From Trump Tower [NIGHT 4]
okay [mention]Dyslexicon[/mention], I have most of your role. So here's the deal. We can probably stop you from winning, but that might take town down along for the ride and I don't want to deal with that. So, here's a list of "demands":
1) reveal the rest of your power, if I haven't figured it out by the time you get around to it. I dunno if you need clearance from g-man for exact language, but you should at least be able to paraphrase in a way that's verifiable by what we have.
2) lock up a player agreed upon by the town tonight
If you do these things, you may exit the game in peace. Sound good?

Re: Escape From Trump Tower [NIGHT 4]
I was going to try to do that anyway actually. I wanted to make it 2 town and 1 scum, which would be the most neutral/fair to each side.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 5:02 am Okay, so if Dizzy locks one more person up, all three of them die but Dizzy wins is my understanding of the untranslated stuff. And I didn't lie about trying to lock up Nanook. It just didn't work. That's why I haven't reached my wincon yet.
The only thing I lied about this game was being unlynchable. And that was only a half lie.

Anyway, some of you should give me a reasonable PoE and I'll pick from that.
LC and Soneji will die no matter what you do.
It doesn't matter if you waste a lynch on me or not, the result will be the same, only you will actively guarantee you don't get mafia lol. And you probably shouldn't do that, cause that's like against town's wincon.
Anyway, I'll pick some PoE player on one condition: We don't unlock any doors this night. That will actually help you too.

Or because we don’t really know how to unlock the doors efficiently

And also because mafia kills people. We’d need to make sure we could have at least scum locked up first before we could even try, and problematically we wouldn’t know until the day after.

I’ll work out a table later but I don’t think it will work. Dizzy if you lock up someone is their action stopped that night? That is, if you lock up someone who has submitted the factional kill on the same night you lock them up, does the kill go through?

And also, if I lock up one more player, I will disappear from the game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 7:35 am And also because mafia kills people. I think you'll just have to hope for the best and do better to lynch scum.

I don't know actually. Depends on the action order I guess.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 7:36 am I’ll work out a table later but I don’t think it will work. Re: Escape From Trump Tower [NIGHT 4]
Something to consider. Right now the poll is tied, no door will be unlocked, Dizzy will lock up a player and be removed from the game along with those three. Additionally, there’ll be a nightkill. That’ll leave 4 players. Worst case, game over. Best case, game over. In between case, we’re at mylo. Dizzy, do you know if your door has been unlocked?
