Well I said I was voting for Elo and then she decided she should vote for me. When I die vote for elo, k?bea wrote:That's a fair question.
I'm a bit confused by the push for a Kate lynch. Am I understanding correctly that the case rests pretty much on the idea that she may be SVS's partner and even if she's not the fly by day 1 vote was weird?

I know SVS for being an actual good and helpful civ who cares about the game. This isn't that SVS.S~V~S wrote:I apparently don't need one today, lol.insertnamehere wrote:Good defense.S~V~S wrote:Why are you all lynching Kate? I doubt she is bad.
I expected to come in here after work, and find myself 90% dead, and then this inexplicable turn of events happens.
I said previously that i suspent INH, and this kinda just reinforces it for me. No one has been talking about anything but me FOR DAYS, and now INH leads us to lynch...someone else? the only reason i can see for that is to keep the distraction around.
lol wut
Myself and TH all thoroughly refuted your bonkers and self contradictory statements about me. Do you want me to literally go back and repost all the stuff we said? I'd gladly do that if you'd stop this idiocy.
Yes i did, I said i thought INH was suspicious like days ago, before he joined Llama & THs erroneous crusade on me. The whole Kate is bad case is mainly based on association with me, so why are people lynching her before me? They want to keep the distraction around, if i am the only topic of discussion, they can skate.FZ. wrote:Is there anyone you would like to lynch? I really, really think that you are bad. You are playing one of the most laziest baddie games I've ever seen, and I feel like you are just tired of this farce.
So that where my vote is going, since for once i have the luxury of not having to save myself. I am voting for INH

Day 3: Come Thunder, Come Lightning!
The storm had battered the travelers since mid-afternoon, and they were drenched.
They were complaining about what horrible luck they’d had. It was then that a bolt of lightning struck S~V~S. After that, the sky cleared.
S~V~S has been lynched. She was Queen Bavmorda.

Night 3: Beer!
Happy with their good fortune (and seeking a place to dry off), the band found a tavern. Aside from the loutish chicken fights, the brawling, and the rank cooking of kitchen staff, they were glad to be in a warm place.
And there was beer there. To increase his sales, the barkeep challenged them to a drinking contest, and the last man standing would receive a prize.
It is now Night 3. You have 23 hours to send in your PMs.

Awesome lynch result!!!
Welcome JC!!!
But, despite the fact that he's not confirmed in my book, he's been making a lot of sense this game. Outside of the fear mongering bit about dying on a night when no kill happens, I've agreed with him in general more than I've not. Which, as I said earlier, is somewhat surprising to me as I'm more used to INH's zany side.
Kate - I remember you mentioning that you wanted to take a look at elo during the last night phase and then after today's vote trading you were pretty convinced she is bad. Can you give me anything else besides what you think is an erroneous vote for you that makes you so sure she is bad? Also - why was her vote more bad than the votes from DH and INH toward you?
Welcome JC!!!

Thank god for the results. It makes me even sorrier that llama and TH died like that
Bea, thanks for the vote of confidence
But I'm a shitty drinker. A couple of beers or glasses of wine, and my head starts to spin.
Not sure who to give the vote. Maybe I'll send it back to Bea.
I don't think INH is a confirmed civvie. I got the feeling a few times that INH and SVS were trying to distance themselves, so I'm sorry, but I'm not going to give you my trust just because you say so. I need to look back and see what you said. Also, Bea, if you're used to INH playing differently, shouldn't that set off the alarm bells?
What's with the Elo-Kate battle?
I find it interesting that no one is considering the forced votes. Maybe Kate's voters were on that list, and the way Kate is going so strongly after Elo is weird. Not sure who I trust more between those two.
I won't be here until tomorrow so I'm just giving Bea my vote, because even though she didn't voice much suspicions, I find her interactions here to be genuine.

Oh really - I figured you were a shitty drinker.

But I put my vote where I thought the prize would most likely be given to a civ. Actual drinking ability had little to do with my vote.

that said - we should totally get blitzed together sometime! It'd be fun!!! (before I re-read this it said "I'd be fun"

And really - the forced voters was something I was thinking of as well but I'm not sure I'm seeing evidence of any vote being forced? I would think that would be a stronger presence in the game?
Do you think 2 of 3 of Kate's voters were forced?
Where would you look in the past votes where the vote might be forced?

I get that part Kate - I guess what I'm asking is what made you initially think you should re-read her as a suspect? Elo is hard for me to read because she's always a lower keyed player. She conned me in Harry Potter (and her hubby too) but I've also been f reeked out about her quiet when she was civ as well. So yea. What was it you saw that made you think she was worth the re-read in the first place?
I get your reactions to her during this last day cycle.

If there is a point you can pin at where your gut kicked in, that would help me lots.
I wasn't sure what to make of the rush on you during the last lynch.
Also - it seems weird to me that 3 people voted you but you are only convinced elo is bad. What do you think of the other 2 that voted you? Why do they not peek your interest as well as elo does?

Bea,
to answer your question, I just looked at Burglekutt's role description:
The bully landlord. Each Night, he can command two people to vote the same person the next Day. If Burglekutt isn’t satisfied (the person didn’t get lynched), he may steal the Night power of either of his targets for the Next night. Wins by surviving so long as Willow and Bavmorda are both dead.
According to this, we're looking at two people having to vote for the same person. Looking at other roles, there might be people who can be saved from the forcing, if they're protected, so maybe in some of the votes we only have one voter. Also, I don't think he has any knowledge on who is a baddie and who isn't.
So basically it boils down to the type of player. If it's a person who likes being a civvie, he'll force people to who he thinks the baddies are and vice verse. Still he needs to get two people out to win, so it gets more complicated. Bottom line, I'm back to having nothing
A question to you all about NIH. You know his game style. How likely is it, that he and SVS, knowing the sucky situation she was in, decided that going after each other would help him look good later on? Is he the kind of player to do that sort of thing, or is it more likely that he is actually a civvie and has been on the right track all along?

Searches for Elora Danan's guardian each Night. If she is successful (or if Elora Danan comes to her), she will return the child to Willow. If Willow is no more, she will return the child to someone she trusts.
Can someone help me out with this? Why would Epi no longer need pm's from Cherlinda? I understand why he doesn't need the Death Dog related pms since Bavmorda is dead but I don't understand why not Cherlindrea. Probably something I missed on my read through.
I have decided to vote FZ. tonight. I had some real doubts about her in the beginning of my read through but by the end she was striking me as definitely civ.
I'm most interested in looking back at the Dom voters, all of whom seem to have voted after the S~V~S votes and the people who voted Kate instead of S~V~S. I know FZ. is one of the ones who voted Dom but her subsequent posts have given me confidence that she was not trying to save S~V~S. Kate and Eloh were the other two I believe (besides BWT and S~V~S) and it's interesting that they are both claiming to see the other as bad. The other group I need to understand better is the group that voted for Kate in the S~V~S vote. If you think Kate is bad because of her association with S~V~S, why not vote S~V~S? INH, DH, and Eloh what made you pick kate? I will re-read you as well to see if I can pick up the reasons but they didn't stick with me on my first read, and that could just be because i was trying to comprehend a lot at once.
Finally, Epi this is for you: When you say no lynch manipulations does that include role defined protection from lynch (X will survive one lynch) as well as switches, stops and extra votes?

Re: Willow [Night 3]
There are no protections from lynches, no switches, no stops, and no extra votes.

Re: Willow [Day 3]
This is untrue. You mentioned rereading me. People say things like that about players all the time. It had nothing to do with my vote for you.Kate wrote: Well I said I was voting for Elo and then she decided she should vote for me. When I die vote for elo, k?
The reason I voted you was b/c you were warning us that you wouldn't be lynched. That is a lie that Epi has since confirmed. Two posts after your warning you toned it down to, "Like I said I'm not sure if I'll be lynched or not." You seem to be so full of POOP.
Everyone, please read for yourselves...
"I'd like to do a reread of Elo in the day."
"I doubt I'll be lynched though. Tis is so a bad idea.
Anyhow.
I'm voting elo."
When asked why she voted me (as there was no reason given)...
"Cut I think you're bad.
...
Maybe I'll just let you vote me and not defend and then you can say....oh well she wasn't acting civ anyway?
Unless some things changed I don't know about I won't be lynched anyway."
quote="Kate"]
You're so digging your grave. Every watch Elo push my lynch. Vote her next.Elohcin wrote:
This is supposed to eb a straightforward game with no lynch manipulations. Epi said that from the beginning. So....I don't believe youWish I could put another vote on you just for that
[/quote]
WHAT?! How am I digging my grave by stating a fact from the host himself.
To recap:Epignosis wrote:There are no protections from lynches, no switches, no stops, and no extra votes.
Kate has absolutely nothing to go on. She was only trying to LOOK as if she was contributing by saying, "I want to reread elo", waiting a little bit, and then voting me. Ten bucks says she didn't even read one quote from me. Like I said. She just wants tot look like she is being a good little civ and helping her team out. I see right through it.

And she stated several times about not being lynched so it is a bad idea to try. Do we trust a liar? I think not!!!

Re: Willow [Night 3]
Since Bavmorda is dead, he now only needs to get Willow killed to win. Outside of a lynch, the odds there are going to be kind of slim with all the protective roles we have now, so my guess is that he will start sending his voters after the most townie players. This will make things very difficult from now on because that also means we can't just assume those players are bad if their votes are questionable. This is what I've deduced anyway.FZ. wrote:Bea,

Elo you're such an obvious baddie. You are so over dramatic when caught. Tone it down girl.
How are you digging your grave? Because when my VERY civ role is revealed after you get me lynched you will most certainly be the next to go.

I guess there is only one place to look, right? Unless...What if SVS has just played a horrible civvie game b/c she got too emotionally caught up in the Andrew mess with llama and the baddies have used this opportunity to their advantage. :o I hate second guessing myself

More subtle defending.Elohcin wrote:I think Kate is one to look back at as well. She is awful quiet and I don't remember seeing much substance in her contributions. I will be rereading her and SVS today. It seems like everything points to SVS being bad, but there is still that nagging in the back of my mind that she may have been set up b/c of her emotional reaction over Andrew.

This is so baddie it's practically an admission.Elohcin wrote:All this sounds promising. I am willing to go with Kate or SVS....steer away boys.

This is classic baddie maneuver. Baddies don't start bandwagons they jump on them. So out of no where my name is mentioned and you vote me over Svs? Wonder why?

I'm not going to say anymore right now. I want others to weigh in and give their opinions on Eloh vs. Kate. Anyone care to chime in?
