It's because the poll doesn't track vote order (it used to, but the feature seems to be gone) so it helps to track votes in thread if people call them

No, just because usually I feel that day 1 spats like this tend to resolve with neither member being the target of suspicion after a while and their position in a triumvirate together leads me to believe that neither really suspects the other.
