Epi, do you have Fridays poll?
Re: Willow [Day 5]
I regret that I do not. I thought I had copied it before I hit "delete poll." I had not in fact copied it.Kate wrote:Epi, do you have Fridays poll?

I'm least comfortable with Sorsha out of those two. I think she's being intentionally obtuse.Kate wrote:I see that the second to last prize poll is missing from the other thread. That was the night bea and fz tied. Elo voted bea. I moved my vote to fz specifically to tie it because I didn't want to vote the Same as elo.
Bea has done a few things that pinged me and is on my list of three. However in a read through I see she laid the second vote on Svs in her lynch. I had some feels that when she was questioning me on elo that she may have been working the distancing thing. Then she failed to vote in elos lynch at all. So that's not a help.
I need to go read sorsha again now. Dh, what are you thoughts on bea or sorsha?? Same question to bea on sorsha and dh. And sorsha, you gave thoughts on dh, what about bea?

well, I was thinking of a specific role for her, that is not a teammate of elo and svs, that may cause her to act purposefully obtuse on that issue.

Kate- I don't feel great about Bea either but the vote she put on SVS that you cited is what has me thinking more civvie/ less baddie.
Also... What am I being obtuse about? I don't get role hints so
if that's what you're talking about. Role hints don't mean jack anyway... Anyone can do them.

Re: Willow [Day 5]
The reason I'm willing to overlook that vote was that it seems Svs was resigned to her fate by then. Remember her trying to get herself lynched over me? Lol.
I'm going to vote bea. I don't think sorsha or dh are as likely to be bad.
I also want to mention one other thing. I've mentioned bea a few times and she just doesn't acknowledge it. That always freaks me a bit.

Okay, I've caught up, but I'm still going to be in and out because I have some stuff I need to prepare for tomorrow.
In any case, I think it's very interesting that the three talked about people still haven't voted. I'm not going to vote yet because I want to see how they vote. I think that could be quite telling.
For what it's worth, I don't think Bea is the baddie, but I'd like to see what she says.
linki@ just saw you voted. But do you think Bea is the baddie or not? You want to save Kate and take another civvie down, or do you actually think she's the baddie?

I have a feeling Sorsha will be voting for Bea as well. Which would leave me even more sure Bea is not the baddie

With INH's and Metal's votes in, I'd rather not take the chance that Kate might be lynched.FZ. wrote:Okay, I've caught up, but I'm still going to be in and out because I have some stuff I need to prepare for tomorrow.

What don't you understand. If Kate is the more obvious civvie, then voting Bea if you're a baddie who knows she's a civvie too would be the sensible thing to do, because one of them would go down, and you'd be looking good trying to save KateDharmaHelper wrote:I'm not sure I understand the question.FZ. wrote:Also, DH, you say you don't want to take any chance, but if you're the baddie, it doesn't make any difference to you which civvie is lynched, does it?

But I'm not bad, so I don't understand your conclusion. Since I'm a civvie and there is comparatively a larger chance that bea is not (in regards to Kate) and I'm not sure where the other votes are gonna go, voting for bea makes the most sense.FZ. wrote:What don't you understand. Day 5: Did You See What She Did? She Stole Our Blackroot.
Kate had taken everyone’s blackroot, and the others had had enough. They picked her up and threw her into the lake, and poor Kate couldn’t swim. She couldn’t even stand up in it even though it was fairly shallow water.
Kate has been lynched. She was Willow Ufgood.

Looking at the roles, Burgle forces three people to vote for a certain person. If this hypothesis is correct, and I was Burgle, then there should have been a fourth vote. There wasn't.

The bully landlord. Each Night, he can command two people to vote the same person the next Day. If Burglekutt isn’t satisfied (the person didn’t get lynched), he may steal the Night power of either of his targets for the Next night. Wins by surviving so long as Willow and Bavmorda are both dead.

Re: Willow [Day 5]
Sorry Kate. I'm sad that you had to die.
Please listen to me.
The civvies can easily win this game if we just unite. There is a reason Sorsha didn't vote today and it was because she didn't mind who was going to get lynched, just as long as it wasn't her. Also, since I said I was pretty sure she'd vote for Bea as well, she didn't bother doing it, because it wouldn't have helped her look better. So she just waited and probably planned on saying she missed the vote. There are less consequences to that.
In anyway, even if you don't like what I've done, I'm asking you all, if there's a blocker still alive, block Sorsha. I think there's no one else who could be the baddie. This is only important if the baddies have a kill tonight. If not, we take her out next day.

Re: Willow [Day 5]
Honestly, I don't think it matters because Burglekutt obvious got what he wanted. All he needs is to survive, and his best chances are with the civvies. So hopefully, he'll be playing for that team.DharmaHelper wrote:insertnamehere wrote:WaitDharmaHelper wrote:The no double targeting rule leads me to think INH is Burgle, if that wasn't immediately clear in my skepticism.

So I think our focus should be on the last baddie, and like I said, I'm pretty sure it's Sorsha

And fz- you're wrong. The reason I didn't vote was because I fell asleep waiting for someone to answer me. But yes... I likely would have voted Bea again, blocking me would be stupid. I don't even have a pm to send in. If the blocker is still alive they should block Bea or whoever burgellcut is.

There's only one baddie left, and 4 civvies. Who do you think burgle is going to side with? Epi, now that Burgle as won, does he have to use his power?

RIP Kate.
At least I get to talk all forwards like again. That was soooo hard reading today btw and not being able to comment because of the chore it would have been to get the backwards generator and do all that from my phone. At work. Where I only have the 5 minute breaks I have for a smoke to get anything done.

Re: Willow [Day 5]
I know Kate is dead, but I did want to address this now.
I put the second vote on SVS - in the lynch that deaded her. I know I need convincing as far as SVS goes, but when I was convinced I was convinced and came in as fast and as hard as I could to say so.
*If* I were a baddie - why wouldn't I have just voted Kate then?
*If* I were a baddie - wouldn't I be more worried about Kate talking about Elo? Wouldn't I have been more dead set against letting my other teammate go down? Again - I could have just voted Kate, then Kate would have been deaded and it would have been a thorn out of my baddie back. I know - this is WIFOM, but really - most of you have played lots of games with me. Does that sort of behavior make sense if I was bad?
I'm a civ here. I've been a sloppy playing civ, but I'm a civ. None of the few things I've managed to do make sense if I were bad.
Kate said a few times she wanted to look at me. I've got no problems with people looking at me. I didn't address it because until this post, she didn't say anything that I could address. Did I really jump that high up on the suspish-o-meter because I dismissed "I'm looking at bea." till some results of what that look at came up with?Kate wrote:The reason I'm willing to overlook that vote was that it seems Svs was resigned to her fate by then. Re: Willow [Day 5]
I think it's pretty obvious Burgle will side with the civvies, because he wants to win, and he'd be an idiot not to join forces with the civvies. So that makes it 5 civvies.
So if I were him, I'd consider forcing people to vote for Sorsha.
Even if the baddie has a NK tonight, which I doubt he does, because if I'm not wrong, he can only kill on even nights, and he kills one of the more sure civvies, we still have 4-1 and can afford to make a mistake and remain 3-1 come next night. So even if I'm wrong about Sorsha, and it's Bea, we can still win the game.
I know I'm not the baddie, and I assume you know this too, and it's not INH either. I am 99% it's not DH or MM which again, leaves Bea and Sorsha.
Now, if Bea was really the baddie, she would have voted for Kate and call it self preservation. At the time she voted, she didn't know I would vote for Kate, so if she wanted to stay alive she would have done that (because she probably assumed I wouldn't be voting for Kate).
Sorsha, on the other hand, had nothing to lose by not voting, and I don't buy the fell asleep claim, it's too damn convenient.
So there you have it. Sorsha is the last baddie, and if by any chance, I die tonight, make sure to take her out next day.

Re: Willow [Day 5]
Why are you ruling out DH and MM? Also, if bea was bad, and she then voted for Kate, that would have seemed too suspicious. I'm not really sure if that defense really works.FZ. wrote:
