@Marcher Jovian considering most of it was like half an hour into D0 I don't think I'd even call it that much of a thing, really
I don't have that much of a takeaway from it
I don't like this response. It feels really wishy-washy "I am neutral and have no strong opinions one way or the other".

Or rather, why did you think moth would complain about not being forced to interact with people that could potentially be town (no spew), as a wolf? I kinda have to make some weird assumption in order to meet this read, not really following your thought process. You think wolves would complain in wolf chat about not having to interact with people when spew is at bay? lol
Idk i just its kinda slightly scummy. The "I kinda have to make some weird assumption in order to meet this read" sentence
Ive felt like that when i was maf and i was trying to be diplomatic and stuff. i could be wrong but it just feels to me like ted pre emptively wants to agree / not enter conflict
i hate explaining so much just to be clear, i just decided id give it a shot
Is this the reason of your vote? Because the post you quoted was posted after your vote in the thread.
Yea i kinda scumread ted slightly regardless but then he went ahead and made that post and when i responded to u it was an opportunity to give his most recent post as a tongue in cheek kinda thing and also i could just quote it instead of going back the previous page to quote other stuff so i saved myself some calories in clicking less. my granny says im underweight and i should eat more so im just doing my dury with due dilligence

Marcher, I supposed you were kind of memeing, but I suspect there's some relative conviction behind your moth read.
Why did you think wolf moth would complain about not being paid attention to by other people, in the wolf chat ???
It's not exactly the talk, it's more the tone behind it. Like when I saw moth play as scum in g7 of champs, he had this like air of ?bravado around him. Like scum!moth was very "look at me, I'm a crazy and aggressive player who makes nonsense pushes sometimes! I'm gonna tunnel your towncore! I am moth, hear me roar! *flapflapflapflapflapflapflapflap* Show no weakness, only aggression!
Moth here just doesn't really feel like that? Like maybe moth really is scum and I'm just being fooled cuz scum!moth is feeling low-energy, but moth is like openly showing weakness and feeling bleh in thread and being bummed and confused. Like if this was the same moth I saw in champs I would have kinda expected like a tunnel or an aggressive attack there. It's a d1 read, it's not exactly a locked in, but it's good enough for now.

Like I think the general thing scum wants to do is force me to push the slightly insane read I made to start off the day, and this is in this camp.
Also in what world is Nanook an easier MDF in general than Nutella/Sloonei?
The world you kill me in f3 for one
(That’s right, I randomly saw my name and replied to it and nothing else, anyone that scumreads me for it should tag me so I can laugh at them)
(Also so I remember this game exists and I’m in it)

It's one thing saying "I like how moth is speaking" and a whole another thing saying "He doesn't do this in here and does it in wolf chat"
Why would he even complain about not being engaged in thread, in wolf chat??
because i looked at wolfchat postgame and moth stuck all the nervousness and stuff in there while maintaining the front in thread

like idk it just felt like same vibes except in public instead of in wolfchat
That read is a read that a villager never cares to make. He moved the goal posts, once I called him out on him not arguing on the same read, he came back to his old "he didn't post this in wolfchat" in order to reinforce his stance.
I think the whole thought process is just contrived.

I do not follow. Walk me through it more slowly. I am not intelligent.
Reads that come from other games, having a baseline of exactly one game that you didn't even play is exactly the type of reads that wolves make and that villagers never actually care for.
He also changed the reasoning for his read. When he replied to me in the first place, he moved the goal posts in order to make the read sound legitimate.

I have no reason to accept or believe that this statement is true.

What was Position #1, and what did it change into when it became Position #2?

Position 1 : Moth is town for complaining about not being engaged in thread by people (later on he implies that this is an indicator of nervousness, by the way)
Position 2: It's not exactly the talk, it's the tone behind it
So which one is it, is he town because in a world where he'd be a wolf, he'd conceal information from the main thread and post it in wolf chat, or is he town because of his tone?

Okay. I don’t see any inconsistency here. “I like how he’s speaking” can very easily be extended to “He’s speaking in a way that is different than how he did in a recent scum performance.” This looks like a consistent read to me.

Like I guess it's sorta part of it, but it wasn't about moth complaining about engagement, it's about moth feeling kinda rudderless

I have a much easier time reading this as Marcher working through their own thoughts on moth than any sort of suggestion about a contradiction. “Contradiction” reads like this are seldom inspiring to me anyway. If anything I think it’s a civilian indicator.

The contradiction is the key to a wolf that just TMI'd the slot that people don't interact with because he's going to be a top poster and because you're better off town reading him for bullshit reasons, than attack him.

Like the words in my post were literally just "all this talk". I don't know how you extrapolated that into being specifically about "moth is complaining about being engaged". You saw my post, were confused, and made an assumption. You asked for clarification and I gave it to you. Upon receiving it you went "fuck you. I was right the first time and I know what's going on in your head; you didn't match my assumptions about what I thought you were thinking about and are therefore scum". Why the F did you ask the question in the first place if you already knew exactly what you thought I was going to say?!
