I suppose what exactly does your expectation for me to self resolve mean
I take a bit to ramp up as a villager but I'd... recommend reading me based on my posts

I'm a reasonably competent villager, but I'm not like. A god, or anything close
I'm wrong a nontrivial amount of the time, and I focus much more on clearing villagers/poe than making direct wolfreads generally
If anything I "self resolve" by becoming an increasingly unmiseliminatable/obvious villager as the game goes on but
I rescind my indignance and bewilderment

1st page - useless
2nd page - okay I was actually wrong on a lot of stuff. I thought that the first few pages would be really annoying to me, but they are in fact not. Maybe this is just my emotions/mood. I was either in a bad mood when I read them for the first time, or I am in a good mood now. Because I'm actually vibing with the humor now
Post 72 (reminder to self to check if I can link it) was the nutella post I mentioned earlier where I claimed that "she is taking moth's shenanigans way too seriously so she must be scum". In retrospect that's silly of me, idk why I said that. It no longer looks so, to me.
Finishing the page, I am back to slightly scumreading nutella. Or maybe I'm biased to "follow the flock" since a bunch of other people are doing so as well (at the end of page 2)
3nd page - I FOUND IT. I FOUND IT. I FOUND IT. Post 103 by OW. This is the most I talked about. Where he is taking moth's shenanigans too seriously. It just seemed (to me personally) disgenuine from OW to take it seriously, based off of the "image" I built up for OW based off of his previous posts. He (OW) responds with jest to pretty much everything. Well I mean no he doesn't, but, like, he infuses some humorous stuff in his serious stuff. But he just sounds dead serious here to moth. Maybe I am making a big deal out of nothing. That is possible
particularly the "I FOUND IT"s stand out as pure

I like Nanook for the "self-resolve" thing (though it took me a few posts to understand what he meant by it, and he kept repeating it like it was a term I should be familiar with)
Likewise, I am null on Lissa because of it, and I hope that it ends up being true.

Carotenoid -
I don't know if her opener was addressed towards nutella, but if it was, then I guess it makes me slightly less irked about it.
It's still a weird opener in a vacuum.
I kind of ~like the heaps of "idk mechanics here, someone explain this and that" and then hopping on game solving posts. I feel like if someone was going to sit on the mechanical talk as a scum, they would at least look to spend more than one post on it, if that makes sense. As a wolf, the reason for engaging in mech talk is to appear active and engaging people. The small mech talk backed by solving makes me feel better about the slot.
Her TSP follow-up feels like it's in the right place. I feel slightly less so about the "MacDougall seems to be joking, why the serious answer?" I can't see what point it's trying to reach.
Her Long Con follow-up lacks the game solving aspect I talked about previously.
I kind of like her follow-up to me where she explains why my vote on her reeks.
Overall, I'm left kind of puzzled, there are good posts, there are bad posts. I really can't get a grip on her and I think that we view the game very differently, so I'm self-aware that if I scum read her, it would be more based on how she's hunting rather than anything that pegs her as scum.
I don't feel confident placing her in any slot.
Gun to head, town, whatever, I guess. There are some qualms I have with the slot tho.

Kinda think the "If Radish says I'm scum, you can trust him" line rings genuine, not necessarily true, by any means. I have trouble parsing that thought as a wolf, and I think it comes a lot more from town that's putting their faith into someone in order to town read them correctly. It's not really covering any bases for you as a wolf to say that kind of stuff. Unless he thinks he can handle Radishes' suspicion on him, then I think wolf!him wouldn't have even mentioned it. Within the context of the entire post, that line looks a lot better, the whole post is exuding "I'm town, Radish can potentially attest for this as well"
Feel like if he was going to mention Radishes' read on him there, as a wolf, it would've been done differently and came off with a lot more of a "if he's wrong, he's scum" vibe, but it doesn't read like that to me.
I also liked his random one line reads (Tutuu, Jovian)
Wanna say the slot is town.

TSP -
I reckon wolf TSP would've went "Nanook isn't hard to push at all" as an excuse to cover up the bases, but this, in context with his earlier post, reads more like he's actually kinda pinning it on Marcher, even though TSP is missing the obvious scenario where Marcher just straight up doesn't know Nanook enough to know it's not such an easy push. As a wolf, consciously falling down that road (accusing someone about not knowing Nanook's gameplay) is a very self-burying angle that you don't really get anything out of.
Hope that makes somewhat of a sense, it makes more sense in my head, I guess.

Liking this post, shows lateral thinking to a problem that he, as a wolf, would know that doesn't need solving. (assuming there isn't a wolf partner of TSP's in that interaction). I think this read kinda drops if one of them two flips scum. I kinda liked the build-up to this post as well, tho.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 7:59 pmNo, just because usually I feel that day 1 spats like this tend to resolve with neither member being the target of suspicion after a while and their position in a triumvirate together leads me to believe that neither really suspects the other.
Also kinda liking this one. TSP being genuinely perplexed at Marcher calling Nanook an easier target to push doesn't read like an excuse made up after the fact, because it would have a different direction / stance overall, an actually defensive one, rather than a perplexed + slightly accusatory one.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 5:15 am Like I think the general thing scum wants to do is force me to push the slightly insane read I made to start off the day, and this is in this camp.
Also in what world is Nanook an easier MDF in general than Nutella/Sloonei?
