I do not struggle to read marcher/wilgy as a pair of mafia teammates. I suspect them both individually enough to be okay with either of their wagons.

Why is this happening if you are civ? Twice now you are the third where I get put ahead of you and behind someone else.Marcher Jovian wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 3:48 pmDrWilgy is probably being defended by mafia. No one's really defending him and no one outwardly cares whether he lives or dies. It's all been circumstancial. If we just wanted to turn around and go "Let's yeet Wilgy today" and enough people agree it's gonna happen. The one qualm I have is looking at the wagons, it's Wilgy vs. Radishes (vs. Carote) d1, and it's Wilgy vs. Turnip d2. If you're mafia and you get to pick the winner, it still doesn't rule out Wilgy LHF because mafia wants Radishes dead before he can ramp up and if they're behind yeet Turnip they probably believed the claim.Sloonei wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 3:41 pm @Marcher Jovian I appreciate your willingness to explain what your mindset was earlier. That's something that people have trouble doing sometimes. But I'd also like to see evidence that you are re-assessing the votes from yesterday in retrospect. Turnip Head was banished and flipped civilian. What does that mean for us on Day 3 and beyond? Specifically, what does it mean about DrWilgy?
Maybe I'm just overthinking things and should just sheep Ted's thoughts and vote Wilgy.

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
“Wilgy’s being defended by mafia. No one’s really defending him” is the kind of sentence formation that isn’t necessarily scummy, but it makes so little sense that I have trouble seeing it as an organic thought process.

I could go w/w or w/v. The game state suggests that it’s not v/v.

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
so like the mafia get to day 3 undamaged and we get dueling mafia wagons on day 3? that sounds like primo bullshit to me. the fact that these are the same two from the past days is also quite ridiculous.
mafia are just dominating here and both of these are town.

This was a weird read on me.Carotenoid wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 5:43 pm bronana
I don’t know how to word it properly but overall I feel like he has been really… Reasonable? Like well-grounded? I especially liked their post saying « Feels impossible to get a good grasp on the game when there are still like five one-posters after 65 hours of game .» I just don’t like the push on me at EoD because I just fail to see the logic, but at the same time if he knew Master Radishes and I are both town it would have been a really discutable push. Hmm so yeah, I dislike the push, but I acknowledge that it seems to be coming from a non-TMI place.
I had been pushing her and her top townread. She "failed to see the logic" in the former and obviously disagreed with the push on Marcher, so townreading me for being "reasonable" and "well-grounded" is just ... bizarre.

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
the fact that we have both of these up again though (and as powered up as they seem to be) makes me feel like we did have scum wagons earlier though and the scum had to push these harder than before to get them ott. see: outed wolf, lissa ... whoever else?

I don't follow the logic. Villagers were yeeted over both of them. How does that make them villagersMacDougall wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 7:24 pm so like the mafia get to day 3 undamaged and we get dueling mafia wagons on day 3? that sounds like primo bullshit to me. the fact that these are the same two from the past days is also quite ridiculous.

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
we have probably just never come close to actually yeeting mafia. The gamestate feels like mafia dominated. We're on day 3 with no mafia flips and we're pushing on the same two people from the first two days. It reminds me of the way Mafia worked Keldeo (town) in the GOC finale I played in last year.bronana wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 7:27 pmI don't follow the logic. Villagers were yeeted over both of them. Wilgy and Jovian have both been suspected each day and not gone over. Rather through chance or whatever some other towny goes over on both days. This keeps the easy yeeting alive for a further mislim.
