can scirrus be mechanically tested tommorow to confirm his role?

because he is not confirmed town, and he also has an excuse for not dying. since even if he's real mafia will hunt for cop or doctor instead. well 2-shot doctor kinda useless, but especially for cop, they are going to cophunt and they wont kill scirrus

There are probably better ways to use his role. I don't think it makes sense for scum Scirrus to fakeclaim there, and if his claim is a lie it will become obvious eventually.

i dont see better ways to use his role. look at the setup, he's just basically glorified innocent child except not mod confirmed, no?

he should 100% be mechanically tested tommorow. he is not dying tonight, lol.

Kind of a risky role to claim with votes being a frantic as they were.
Also if there were a 2 shot tracker in the game, they would be screwed since it puts them to the tracker.

I'm ok not testing Scirrus

Can you please re-evaluate your reads on d2. Like... obviously I'm not mafia just because I'm pushing your town reads. I think that you're town and I would love to sync with you tomorrow.

We sorely need a town core and solid PoE, this shitstorm can't be allowed to happen again. I only really have PC access from like 10pm EST to whenever I fall asleep, so I'll explain some of my reads at that time.

Also Dizzy, if you're town, that was disgraceful. Sorry not sorry.
You had solid town reads on myself and Nanook and voted both of us. And refused to vote for proto for whatever reason. And now I'm starting to think that you might be mafia with proto because of that.

Oof. This is probably fair. I didn't vote Proto cause I'm a coward basically. I would feel worse if he flipped town since I feel I've been pestering him all day if he is. So I just shoved the responsibility away from myself. I know it's bad.

No, it's a bad habit of mine. If I freak out at EoD and don't know what to do I sometimes just shut down and go for the easiest solution emotionally, which is the one where I feel I have the least amount of responsibility for the flip. And I should know better. It's a stupid ego thing, and I normally try to not act like that.

It's ok. Maybe the result was bad, but we don't lose the game from a bad EoD. Also a bad EoD can be full of [stuff] in retrospect. Anyway.. I do apologise for choosing to sheep and just wanting rands. It's a turtle reaction, and I'll try to be more conscious to avoid it in future games. It has happen many D1s and it's never cute. So thanks for the feedback, regardless of alignment really.

can proto and alison be mafia together?
i suppose the only reason for why i'm saying no here is because proto put an l-2 vote on alison, but the wagon quickly disintegrated afterward so it's not like it was that big a deal if they were both mafia.

is there a way to track historic votes?

In particular, I think I had 4 or 5 votes on me at one point, with just over an hour left to go. I was pretty sure I was gonna get yeeted.

I would like to see who was originally on the vote on me (Dizzy, Lav and Alison but there were more), and who were the potential hammers.

might be a bit level 1 but I generally like doing this sort of analysis if the data is available somewhere.

Alison wrote: Wed Jul 15, 2020 5:49 pm Also this flash wagoning has been fun and all but the chaos needs to come to an end if we want a proper EOD that will give us information from the wagon formations. Please consolidate on one or two wagons and force the mafia members to make choices instead of hiding in vanity wagons. My suggestion is Alison/Urist.
So I know nobody else wants to yeet alison, but just saying the last time alison was in a mafia team, Mac made this exact play asking for the yeet to land on Mac/Rej, where they were both mafia. Not saying this is exactly the same, but the play worked out quite well for them and is likely to be fresh in Alisons mind as a way to hard distance partners to ensure at least mafia goes deep in the game.

proto said it himself, it would be literally impossible for him to commit to the same playstyle as Space Invaders, and the main reason for why he's saying it seems to be so that he isn't scumread for having a different playstyle.
If anything, proto saying he'll have a different playstyle is slightly scummy.
Giving him a townread for it is scummy as well.
Nah, all scum proto has to do is come in here and post 5000 words theorizing about game mechanics that everyone skims over, and then collect his free towncred. Everything he's done here just reeks of purity, and the "do you think I am scum? What about if I told you X? Shouldn't you scumread me if I told you Y?" thing is a quirk I've noticed he has in his gamesolving style as town. It's also a quirk that I haven't told him I noticed, so I don't think he's intentionally replicating it to pocket me.

(Also do you mean to say "Alison's scum"? Like you said I was town then went on to explain why my read was awful.)
This reasoning for townreading someone and pocketing someone at the same time is the exact same thing Alison did to Epi. Identify something, tell people it's a thing, and then say the person they townread for doing the thing, didn't tell them about it and so is not doing it intentionally, and justifying the townread on that basis.

Dyslexicon tutuu

Is this ringing any bells. Not 100% sure it was epi but this logic has been applied by mafia Alison in a recent game to justify a townread on town and pocket them simultaneously.

@Dyslexicon @tutuu

Is this ringing any bells. Not 100% sure it was epi but this logic has been applied by mafia Alison in a recent game to justify a townread on town and pocket them simultaneously.

This is mafia alison from prev game.

See the similarity in logic here to justify a townread?

"it's also a quirk that I haven't told him I noticed, so I don't think he's intentionally replicating it to pocket me."

"(since I realized what he was doing independently, without him pointing it out or otherwise trying to claim "credit" for it)"

protocultures wrote: Thu Jul 16, 2020 12:21 am is there a way to track historic votes?

In particular, I think I had 4 or 5 votes on me at one point, with just over an hour left to go. I was pretty sure I was gonna get yeeted.

I would like to see who was originally on the vote on me (Dizzy, Lav and Alison but there were more), and who were the potential hammers.

might be a bit level 1 but I generally like doing this sort of analysis if the data is available somewhere.
i can't on phone but on pc you can search for aubergine which is the colour of the vote.

tutuu wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2020 11:14 am ok so if dizzy doesnt have 300 posts and doesnt have 10 townreads by the end of day 0 he's scum with alison (who could be scum for similar reason)
i didn't read all the day for rl reasons but i wanted to see what is happening here.

Fos for tutuu because he expects performance like Dizzy is a robot working at a norm. I see it as a joke too but i dislike it.
Also associative reads so early? smh
Hey Michelle. Do you like playing scum?
Reading this afresh knowing what fos is, this does some across as a weird push onto tutuu.

we both hard tr tutuu, i'd argue that's a pretty big commonality (since we also agreed on that before urist posted their tr on tutuu)

what do u most disagree with about my hot reads 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh wait i'm wrong, urist's tr on tutuu came before urs

ergo

i don't trust u

Tutuu can you confirm to lavender your view that my townread on you will be from meta rather than me sheeping Urist having a townread on you please. Assuming this is true of course.
