I'm answering this here. The day 3 host option was something like "maybe there is no mafia team hee ho" which I thought was too on the nose for Jack.

Thinking back to the day 1 poll though, that suggests evil daw. Which probably? clears Kitsu.

Night 0

The incredibly good looking man sat at his laptop, writing a story. It had been a long time since he had handed off the reins of the RPSC to nobody at all. After his daughter was born, writing just hadn’t seemed so important anymore and after his son was born, it looked like that dream was gone forever.

Or was it? Things had come flooding back to him. Characters. Themes. Long game plot threads to make Claremont blush. He’d written for three hours straight, afraid that the muse would leave him. But it hasn’t. At last, he scrolled to the top to look at his story.

The handsome man began to shake uncontrollably. He fell out of his chair and convulsed on the ground until a piece of something flew out of him and became another him. He looked up at the new him in front of him and the handsome man laughed and laughed, a maniacal dangerous laugh. Another him left him.

“What’s wrong with mhee ho?” the handsome man asked.

“Nothing,” the third handsome man said, grinning from ear to ear. He reached his hand out to help his original self up. “You just need a little rest.”

When the first took the third’s hand, electricity shot through his entire body, frying him alive. The second and third smiled to each other.

“After you,” the second said.

“Why thank you,” the third replied with a chuckle. And then they were gone, leaving the handsome man’s body lying on the floor.

As it turned out, the body was not in fact a dead body. Not completely, anyway. The body continued to spasm after the pair had left, sending out more and more incredibly handsome fellows.

The last one to be separated from the incredibly handsome man was a monster. The monster checked his gun and then looked at the body.

“I only need to save one,” the monster mumbled to himself. He pointed the gun at the original him.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you, Jack.”

The monster turned to see a familiar old man and and unfamiliar blonde one, both dressed in black.

“You’re not me. Neither of you are.”

The old man smiled. “No, we’re not, Jack. But we are him. Perhaps more than you are. That’s not why I gave you that gun.”

“Isn’t it?”

The old man paused.

“No. It isn’t. Move on, Jack.”

The monster looked at the old man and then his companion and then back to the old man.

“What if I don’t want to?”

“Then I’ll make you,” the blonde man said with a smirk. “Mongrel.”

The monster shrugged and walked away.


Day 1 begins now and will last 48 hours. The player with the most votes at the end of day will be executed. Votes on the poll will count but it is polite to call your vote in thread as well.

Night 1

”I ever tell you how I got this gun, Jack?”

“Not that I can recall, Jack.”

”The old man gave it to me. Gave me a hundred bullets, too.”

“Whatever for?”

”To waste the shit that made me this way.”

“And what way is that?”

”Fucked up. See, the old man gave me a hundred bullets. A hundred untraceable bullets. So I figure…I really only gotta save one.”

The monster pointed his gun at the other and fired.

In the morning, the incredibly handsome people all approached the crime scene. There was police tape everywhere and the two men in black stopped them from crossing.

“What happened here?”

“Heart attack,” the old man told them. “Could have happened to anyone.”

“I knew that guy. He didn’t seem like the kind to have a heart condition.”

The old man shrugged. “Sometimes these things just happen. Now move along.”

The Jacks were shocked at the discovery of a second body. This one’s owner had been crucified, his wrists pinned to the wall with a pair of customer scissors. On the wall, written in the victim’s blood were the words BLOOD LUST.

The collective Jacks mourned the loss of their friend, the great and inspiring.

Nanook has been nightkilled. He was: Jack "Jackie" Robinson from irl. Alignment: Town.










A note on timing. The day poll will be accurate from now on. The night poll will not. It will be my intention to end and start days at 9 CST and give you roughly 23 hours to submit night actions and 1 hour for me to sort stuff. Since this day is opening 30+ min after that time, I will just shorten my hour to keep things on track.

Day 2

The group of Jacks led the blonde man to the depressing Jack.

“Her? Really?” the blonde man asked with a smirk.

“Shee ho is a killer” one of the Jacks insisted.

“Yeah, it’s true,” the depressing one admitted, sticking out her tongue. “I’m totally a killer. You got me!”

ACHOO!

“W-w-wait. What’s going on? I d-d-didn’t do anything.”

The blonde man folded his arms. Glowing portals appeared behind him. Swords fired from the portals, ripping the depressing Jack to shreds before she could say anything else.

Pawn Lelouch and Sprityo have been executed. They were: Genocide Jack and Toko Fukawa. Alignment: Third Party.

Night 2

The blonde man took a sip of his wine.

The old man took a sip of his vodka.

The blonde man took a sip of his wine.

The old man took a sip of his vodka.

Nobody has died.

Day 3

The fuckup approached the blonde man, blue ox in tow.



“Hey, friend. Spare a drink?”

The blonde man scowled. “None for you, mongrel.”

The fuckup drew a six shooter with a grin. “Wasn’t really asking.” A flash of yellow light and a sword shot into the fuckup’s chest. “This feels somewhat familiar.” The fuckup fired but his shot wasn’t fast enough to hit the blonde man. Three more swords from three more portals ended their fight.

“This isn’t right,” the fuckup protested, coughing up blood. “I’m a legend. I’m tougher than you, you dick!”

“Hardly.”

Alison has been executed. She was: Jack Horner. Alignment: Town.




Elsewhere, a skeleton cackled to himself. He laughed and laughed and laughed and the sounds of his laughter drew the other Jacks to him. There, they found the remains of the skeleton, an insane grin across his motionless face.

Hally has died. They were: Jack Skellington. Alignment: Town.

Night 3

Two Jacks sat together. One looked at the other.

“So that’s my story. Do you think I’m a bad person?”

The other Jack didn't think so. Maybe a bad story teller. That opinion didn't save him.

Once again, the Jacks awoke to find a crime scene blocked by police tape. Once again, the old man told them it was a heart attack. Once again, they didn’t believe him but what could they do?

So, Jack Napier is Jack Nickolson's joker.

Earlier I had a guess that the scum team might be superheroes if Jack Daw were on it, that's a theme that I could see making sense overall. There was no further evidence for this until The Joker might have popped up in a writeup.
I think Kitsu hasn't claimed a character yet, and Epi's only half claimed. If they both full claim and neither is daw, who as a town vig is probably safe to out now, then we have to start thinking about daw as lock wolf.

Fuck. I didn’t even think of Jack Napier as the poisoner, but using the Joker Gas on Hally to make her laugh to death is pretty fitting. (AFAIK, Napier was only Tim Burton’s Joker that was named after Nicholson himself since the comics have never given Mister J a definitive name.
